Little, hidden gem, but if you follow your GPS directions, it will lead you right there. The service was excellent and the owner was so personable!! The little chocolate berry cakes were amazing!! They were so soft and moist, they're honestly one of the best cakes I've ever had. They had plenty of seating for a small place. We'll be sure to return the next time we're in Kauai!

Kavika helped us out, service is impeccable. Treated us with the utmost respect and helped replaced our order when one was the wrong meat. He even called in a favor for us to get us on a sold out excursion! Kavika is the man and the food is great. Tipped the front desk well because he wouldn't let me tip him. I was looking for a malasada. The first place I tried was closed so I ended up here. It was really quick. In and out. Malasada was less than $3.00. It was tasty and sooo sugary (that isn't a bad thing tho). I would go back again.

coming from California, visiting family and went to this place. It's pretty hidden/ in an unexpected spot. This is better than the super fancy tourist places. This is worth a try if you live here or if you're visiting. The service is super amazing. The workers are super friendly, the food is the best I've had. The athsmosphere of the space is super comforting with such nice music.

This cute little breakfast and lunch place is awesome! The service is very friendly and inviting. Two very nice young ladies were joyful and seemed to enjoy working there and meeting people. The lattes and breakfast burritos were really delicious and we also got sandwiches to go for our next excursion. So glad we found this place because we came here not just because of the great reviews, but also for the owner's response of the few bad reviews as well. The two lovely employees seemed to love their bosses as well as they spoke very highly of them. Great place, go here and thank me later!!!

Love this coffee shop! It's unassuming in a state building but their food is bomb and their coffee is delicious and very affordable. The people who work there are so sweet--Kaua'i das why. also they use good milk (organic)

A beautiful spot in a historic building. The perfect stop for a refreshing drink or a delectable treat. Love that it's locally owned! On our short trip to Kauai we visited this cafe twice . We ordered their craft breakfast sandwiches with Portuguese sausage, Plantation BLT, and Craft Club. I also had their spiced chai tea latte and the Craft Banana Pudding (to die for). I cannot recommend this cafe enough. The owners (and everyone that works here) were so kind. THE BEST BREAKFAST PLACE IVE BEEN TO. It's located right in town which makes it super convenient. The Caramel Iced Coffee was to die for as well as the breakfast wrap. Aloha Craft Cafe is a phenomenal cafe experience. The coffee is tasty and gets you going, loved the Mocha hot. The community and aloha vibes are authentic and respectful of the local culture while being welcoming to visitors and tourists alike. The service was fast, efficient and friendly. What a hidden gem!! We drove to two other coffee shops first from our hotel on our way to Waimea. One we couldn't find, the other was closed even tho hours online said they'd be open. But you know what? 3rd time is a charm!! The guy helping us was so sweet and playing the best nostalgic 80s music. The coffee was on point. And legit, very unexpectedly, the BEST banana pudding we've ever had in our lives!! What a great way to start our vacation weekend. Thank you!! read more

This place is amazing!! Second time here in 2 days. So accommodating too. We were heading for a hike and they wrapped all our sandwiches and added chips and cookies and places each one in a ziploc bag. Sandwiches are amazing and so fresh! Highly recommend going here. They also packages up goodies for our trip home on the airport. This is a definite not to miss! read more

I'm no expert…read more... But I have travelled enough by plane that I've learned a few tricks along the way. And when traveling 6 hours across the Pacific Ocean, the last thing you want to be is hungry mid-flight. Sure.... Maybe a couple of bags pretzels and your favorite complementary soft drink will get you through, but not for me. Or maybe you are all about that "fancy" charcuterie board, a bag of Air-Dried beef Jerky and a plastic cup filled with your favorite wine that is offered by the said airline once you hit cruising altitude which will set you back about $27bucks if you're lucky. Just make sure that credit card is ready as no cash is accepted. Well, after experimenting the last few trips we've taken to Kauai with different food options to take on the plane for once we get hungry, we have discovered that Subway is our new best friend. Not only can you customize your sandwich to what you like, but we've noticed that the sandwich stays intact and travels pretty well until it's time to eat. My only advice, get the condiments on the side, otherwise you will have a very soggy sub. So here's how WE do it! While on the way to the airport, we log into our trusty subway app, select the Lihue location and pre-order our sandwiches and chips. Within 15 min or so, we pop into Subway, grab our subs and off to airport security we go. A little X-ray radiation in my sub won't kill me, will it?? Once boarded, happily in my seat hoping that the empty seat next to us is someone that won't mind my 3 crazy kids for six hours; we are read for takeoff! About an hour in the air and well into our cruising altitude when the flight attendants start making their way down the aisle asking what everyone wants to drink and handing out those tiny bag of pretzels, we are anxiously unwrapping our freshly made 6" subs knowing we will soon be filling our bellies with goodness. Meanwhile, the person next to us is drooling with envy... Don't worry, I'll give them our extra bag of pretzels. So... Your next flight home from Kauai, I suggest stopping by Subway in Lihue, grabbing your favorite 6" of 12" sub and remember how happy you will be once you're 35,000 feet in the sky. But as much as you love 'em as I do, please for the sake of everyone else on the plane, hold off on the onions. After an hour or so... They gonna stink! Safe Travels and remember... Eat Fresh!

Both plates were brought to the table with utensils by staff. Presentation was nice with orange garnish. We were checked on regularly with our coffee. Corned beef was mostly potato, but still tasty. Quiet today, with average conversation noise. Clean, restrooms needed a little assistance. If you want a nice off the beaten path location, that is quiet in the early morning and a reasonably priced, then this is a nice local stop.

They offered to warm up the savory item but not the malasada, which was disappointing because malasadas are known to come out hot/fresh with a crispy exterior. Plus for some reason it didn't have enough sugar coat. It was just soft bread with filling. Overall, the bread texture was soft but nothing special. I would want to come back to try their other items and to get their malasada freshly warm.

I read the positive reviews and decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. The ambience is nothing to get excited about - it is located in the lobby of an office building. BUT the food is delicious! and the chef uses organic chicken, fish etc which is especially nice. I usually bring my own meals into town with me when I shop so I can eat organic and healthy but now I have a lovely place to stop to eat special, tasty food. The staff is also incredible - a real local group with ties to the hula community. One couldn't ask for anything better. Oh and the prices were amazingly reasonable. read more

If you can swing by for a quick bite to eat or to take with you prepare to be greeted with a warm, sincere welcome and some of the most refreshing eatable delights you've had in a while. The breakfast burritos and sprouts sandwich scream FRESH, light and delicious and don't EVEN get me started on the banana pudding. The Craft Breakfast Sandwich was so good, we just had to come back two days later so I could have another one! Megan's effervescent personality made us feel so welcome!
