I love the idea of a Chinese tasting menu and was looking forward to trying Han 202, but I personally thought the food was just ok. The price is affordable for a tasting menu, so I think you just need to expect what you're paying for. For the starters for example, the smoked salmon salad only had one piece of smoked salmon. Most of the base entrees are more simple, so you'll probably also end up wanting to upgrade so the cost will be higher. They gave us a free sashimi dish to try on the house which was nice, and I thought the service was good and attentive! I think Han 202 is a decent option if you want a more affordable tasting menu, but personally I thought the food wasn't that tasty so I wouldn't come back.

Very much out of our way but had an amazing Christmas date experience. We loved everything we had and trying new foods. Our server was lovely as well. Definitely worth a try if in the area and can't wait to come back.

Me and my two friends had a reservation on a Friday and had a wonderful experience! We each tried different dishes from the 4-course meal and all of them were delicious! I had the Lobster Beet salad, shrimp toast (a huge portion!! Easy to share), Duck breast in Szechuan sauce, and a lemon cheesecake. Our server was so kind, she brought out the chocolate soufflé but since the first one deflated, she kindly made us another. Elegant decor and the perfect amount of food, it really is a jewel in Bridgeport.

First of all the service and atmosphere was top notch. A small dining area and the decor was well put up. The food was overall tasty with some dishes being out of balance for my taste (sometimes too sweet or sour).

What a great surprise! Elevated Chinese fusion with a prix fixe menu. I had the diver scallop, duck breast in szechuan sauce, and lemon cheesecake. My gf had the shrimp toast, jumbo shrimp in spicy garlic sauce (spiciness made to order) and the blueberry almond cake. Everything was delicious! Service was excellent.

Salt and Pepper Calamari and Made to order Dan Dan Noodles are a MUST Affordable fine dining Asian inspired cuisine with impeccable service and simplicity that brings out great natural flavors This place was so great, the ambience was very "nice restaurant" esque. Tables covered in white linen, server folding our napkin when we left the table, all at a price of a 4 course pre fix menu filled with options for only $39 per person... The value here is fantastic, the experience is great, the hospitality is so welcoming, this place would make a great date spot or a place to go with friends to try a WHOLE bunch of food at a great price. The cocktail menu was great and they have a fully loaded bar, they are not BYOB anymore and the vibe shows it. This is a nice, affordable, tasty, friendly restaurant everyone should try!

Lovely, small restaurant in Bridgeport. The area it's in is quiet and finding parking is very easy. This was my 4th visit but 1st time getting an order to go. Han 202 has a prix fixe menu consisting of 4 courses at a very reasonable price- $35. Can't beat it. And the food is really wonderful. If you're dining in, it is BYOB and they charge a $2 cork fee. On this visit, I ordered the lobster tail salad, shang hai dumplings (appetizer), duck breast in a spicy sauce (entree) and finished w a slice of lemon cheesecake. Everything was great. I wasn't sure how my food would be once I got home but other than the condensation in the lobster and dumplings (which was expected), they all traveled well. The beet and sauce with the lobster paired very well. The dumplings were good but didn't blow me away. The meat didn't have much flavor on its own but the sauce it came with gave it that kick it needed. The duck breast was great - and those veggies and sauce. Very good. I was stuffed by the time I got to dessert, but I'm no quitter! Lol. I found room for it and it was good as well. Not too sweet at all and was just the right amount considering the amount of food I'd had.

Don't miss Han 202. The restaurant is in a little space, and the there is a small team of friendly staff keeping everything running smoothly. The menu is prix fixe. It is great value for the amount of food you receive and for the quality. I loved the octopus and the fried rice. This intimate space is great for spending time with friends and family. The décor is very minimal, and there is an open kitchen. The staff is attentive and helpful.

Helped a friend move and he told me he would get me dinner. I went with the lobster salad for salad option looked like something you'd find in a fine dining restaurant. My next course was the salt & pepper calamari. It was very savory, enjoyed it very much. For my main entree went with plum lamb chops and add to order rice because it didn't come with rice. When we came in both of us prix fix option which allowed us to choose different salad option, appetizer, main entree, dessert. For dessert ate the cheesecake and it was excellent!!

Very cute restaurant in Bridgeport! Restaurant decor is nice, the bathroom could use a little more love though. The service was good and I enjoyed my overall experience here. The highlight for me was the ginger ice cream and almond cake, which was not too sweet! I order the shrimp toast, Lobster Tail with Red Beet and Honey Mustard Sauce, and Salmon with Malaysian Chili Sauce. I should've mixed it up more and not done all seafood. The lobster and shrimp were okay, but could've been a little more tender. The salmon dish was on the salty side but the fish was cooked well.

We ordered like the PERFECT amount of food and best variety. Roast duck: I honestly don't know if I've ever had duck before, but I'm a duck believer now. The skin on theirs was the perfect crispy shatter texture and the duck was sooooo juicy! I don't know why I was always so worried about it being gamey. They give you fluffy steamed bao buns, a sauce, and scallions on the side as well as duck fried rice! Turnip cake: Obviously a must any time I come to dim sum. I've never seen turnip in any other form than this. Japanese salt & pepper tofu: My FAVORITE dish ever. Any fried salt & pepper tofu always makes me happy. They use a creamy egg-like tofu and the outside is lightly crispy with amazing aromatics stir fried in. Steamed white rice on the side is perfect with this. Loved everything else my dinner buds picked and we were super full by the end! A few dishes, like the Duck Fried Rice, Pork Belly, and Beef Noodle Soup, were actually pretty solid. But the rest of the night was just so frustrating that I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The Jiaozi were the first big letdown. The menu said they were beef short rib and bone marrow, but they didn't taste like that at all. The filling was just super mushy and the flavor was just weird. The manager and the food runner were nice when we mentioned it, but our actual server was a disaster. When we tried the Goat Noodles, all we could taste was cumin. It was so overwhelming that it covered up everything else. We couldn't even tell if there was actually any goat shoulder in there. When we told our waiter, she couldn't care less. She got totally defensive, wouldn't even listen to us, and just said, "Oh, I told you when you ordered that the dish is cumin forward" and walked away. It got worse when the bill came. She was holding on to the payment machine so hard and almost yanked it right out of my friend's hand. She was staring at it to see what we were tipping. It was so awkward and incredibly rude. No thank you, no nothing. She just grabbed it and left. The place has potential, but they really need to fix the food and retrain the staff. A cool vibe doesn't make up for bad food and awful service.
