I will have to admit this wouldn't be the Safeway store I would go to on a regular basis, but since…read moreI was working just next door from this Safeway store in Kailua, I decided to stop by since it was on a Friday, and as we know it..........it's Friday DEALAGES Day! Although the store looks a bit dated, the store appears to be very organized. I love the self check out stations, because it helps with not having to wait too long in line should you just want to pick up a few items. The day I came here, I stopped by the hot foods deli department & picked up a pound of boneless wings. The safe here at this Safeway was friendly & helpful. Parking here is easy, so getting to the store is easy. There are other businesses surrounded by this Safeway, so after shopping here, it can be a potential one stop shopping experience.

Parking lot has a fair amount of stalls. Demographic is similar if perhaps older than Target's. I just went for a plastic container and came away with a kombucha and a Select ( Safeway's own...slap a label on it...brand ) sparkling water. Self-checkout kiosks make smaller purchases convenient. Store is clean, organized, and well-stocked. Police was busy near the entrance dealing with what appeared to be homeless man.

The store in the Enchanted Lakes neighborhood is clean, but the store appears to be on the older side, as compared to the Safeway store I normally shop at - Kapahulu branch. The folks who work at this Enchanted Lakes store were very friendly & helpful as several workers came up to me offering their help/assistance when I came to the store to fix something in their office. I swear if I lived in the Kailua neighborhood, I would totally shop at this store due to the friendliness of the staff. Parking here is easy, as the supermarket is situated at a small strip mall where the parking is shared by other business nearby.

YES! Then there's the $5.00 deli items, 8-piece Fried Chicken! CheeeeeeeHoo! Also there's a BOH ATM for quick cash. They even have a change to bitcoin machine for anyone wanting to transform coins into da Kine! Service here has that friendly local vibe with Aloha. They have fresh organic veggies and local produce from local bananas to tomatoes. Lots of instant savings with Safeway App. Large free parking lot with easy access for those with disabilities. Bathroom in the back of store for all by discount rack. I know where everything is located. I only wish they had a bigger inventory of sugar free items like ice cream sandwiches & 16 ounce six packs of Sprite Zero. Five dollar Fridays add extra savings for faithful customers. Mahalo Safeway! Keep those digital pop up savings coming! YELPTASTIC Savings!

But seriously, you can end whatever decision making process you have at this moment. They have it all at KP Market (I'm not sure if anyone calls it this, but I do now). Sandwiches, burgers, poke, bowls of various types, coffee, all kinds of bevs. Anything that you could desire to keep you sustained during a day of sun burns and big waves. I can't recall the names of the bowls that we got, but they were exactly what we were looking for. Incredibly generous portions at reasonable prices, and the highest quality of ingredients. I'm pretty sure they gave me an entire fish, and I ate the whole thing. The garlic shrimp that fantastic, and smothered in that buttery-garlic goodness. The star of the show were the accompaniments that brought the whole bowls together. The ube was flavorful and added a great texture. The kimchi was a nice add too, giving these dishes a bite to balance things out. And the sauces were nice, but not overpowering. I'm pretty sure there are a few KP markets around, and you should stop here before whatever adventure awaits for you in Hawaii. I even bought a shirt because this place was so dope.

Compliments to our waiter, Stacen. He was extremely friendly and helpful. My parents recommend the poke nachos. My mom really liked the fish tacos. "They were excellent", she said. My dad loved the caesar salad. "The hardboiled egg and delicately sliced avocado was a nice touch", my dad said. My sister loved the buttered pasta with Parmesan cheese. She said they put the perfect amount of cheese. I got the pasta with red sauce. It was delicious. I loved it. The red sauce was really good. Lastly, my sister and I got dessert. It was hard to choose which one we wanted, but finally, we decided to try the s'more brownie a la mode. It was amazing. My mom said that it was the best s'more brownie that she ever had. I agree, it was really good. By: a satisfied customer!
