We drop by this Foodland whenever we hike at Pillbox or goto Lanikai beach. This Foodland has everything you need and we especially enjoyed the poke. It was fresh and delicious. The person working the poke counter was fast and patient with us tourists. The store was large and clean. Also, try the butter mochi. You won't regret it. Make sure you sign up for their Maika'i membership before you head to Hawaii. It gives you discounts on their items by entering your phone number at the cashier.

Foodland has one of the freshest, quickest, tastiest poke on the island. Poke here tops any poke I've had on the mainland, and is so customizable! You cannot go wrong with any of the poke here, but I would completely recommend any of the spicy options. They provide a perfect kick with immense flavor, and is a great snack to enjoy at the beach or right after the beach! This is a must have if you're visiting the islands.

Can't have a beach day without visiting your local Foodland and getting fresh Poke and snacks! Don't forget the scoop rice with the furikake!

Foodland Honolulu Hawaii Food: A variety Fruit and Vegetables. Grocery store items comparable to a Kroger's or Walmart. Assorted exotic hot and cold foods, a lot of seafood options and wide range of sushi. Service: Service was great! friendly and polite from food stand cooks to check out clerk. Ambiance: Clean and orderly, comparable to Kroger's or Walmart.

Hubs received an instacart order as a get well gif including 2 containers of strawberries. I had the kiddies with me that day so before we picked up our orders for sushi and cold noodles from 2 shops in this shopping center we started here first. All we needed was brown sugar. Bud can read now so he found the section with sugars. He showed me the dark brown sugar box. I said, "Let's get the light one." So fast he found the correct one. In the afternoon after our one hour quiet time( no tv; no iPad games, only nap or read a book) we had chilled fresh strawberries with light brown sugar and whipped cream. Sweetie thought it was the cat's meow cuz the smile on her face as she took her first bite- precious!

    Fresh poke bowl $21.99

We ordered a large fresh fish poke bowl. We considered the previously frozen one but we figured since we were in Hawaii, we gotta go for the fresh. The fresh poke bowl with 2 choices of fresh came out to be $21.99. We choose the fresh secret spicy ahi poke and the fresh shoyu ahi. I'd rate this a solid 8/10 for poke as a whole and a 10/10 for supermarket poke. The fish was not as buttery as ones you can get at a restaurant / small poke shop but you could tell from biting into it that the fish was fresh. It was probably because of how they mass produce it that it feels different than getting in from a poke shop. It was not chewy or had any discoloration or slimy features. This Foodlands location had SO MANY options for fresh and previously frozen poke. The person working behind the counter was friendly, funny and definitely kept the line moving, which was greatly appreciated. We ended up getting a previously frozen poke bowl a few days later. It came out to be $10.99 for 2 choices of fish. We got the same two types of poke (secret spicy and shoyu) but with the previously frozen ahi instead. We rated this a 7/10. The texture was a lot chewer that the fresh fish. The flavor profiles were about the same. The color of the fish looked different compared to the fresh fish. This was a lot more pink than the fresh frozen one. Overall, a solid convenient choice for poke in Oahu especially due to the variety and ease of multiple locations alone! You can't go wrong with either choices!

I've heard so much about Foodland, so it was the first stop that I hit once I landed in Hawai'i (I'm from the Mainland). While it's your typically grocery store (where you can also get beach supplies, if needed!), I came for the poke. They have a HUGE selection of different kinds of poke and ready-to-eat seafood, including but not limited to: crab, clams, and oysters. I got the spicy ahi poke and a salmon poke, and they were delicious, fresh, and filling. The sauces/marinade were flavorful and unique. The staff working here were also so sweet and kept offering free samples of haupia, which was delicious. Definitely a great stop.

We heard foodland poke is TOP! So we had to pick some up to snack on by the beach. When we were in line, one of the locals said the "California" was their go-to, so I had to give that one a try. It was BOMB!!! Probably one of my favorites! The octopus one is also pretty good, give that one a shot if you like octopus :) We also got a side of rice and some chips- perfect combo!!!

Staff was rude at the poke area, staff was great at the register area. Overall poke was better at another food land.

The store in the Enchanted Lakes neighborhood is clean, but the store appears to be on the older side, as compared to the Safeway store I normally shop at - Kapahulu branch. The folks who work at this Enchanted Lakes store were very friendly & helpful as several workers came up to me offering their help/assistance when I came to the store to fix something in their office. I swear if I lived in the Kailua neighborhood, I would totally shop at this store due to the friendliness of the staff. Parking here is easy, as the supermarket is situated at a small strip mall where the parking is shared by other business nearby.
