The short walk from the Aloha to the beach cannot be beat.

My family and I just stayed at the Aloha Motel for the first time this past week. We were big fans of the Beach Hugger motel up until it had closed, therefore we had high expectations of whichever motel we would stay next. Having been the one to book the room, I was hoping Aloha would deliver. Based on my families reaction to their stay, I would say it definitely met our expectations. I was quite pleased with this motel in regards to cleanliness and size. The room was very spacious and accommodating. We had a room with 2 bedrooms (queen beds) and a full kitchen setup. Five of us were able to sleep comfortably with the pull out bed being utilized and cooking meals in our room was mostly without complication. Provided were a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, 2 stainless steel pots & a pan, and dining essentials such as plates, silverware, corkscrew, and cups/mugs. My complaints are relatively minute in the grand scheme of things. The cookware is quite tiny, so I went out and bought a pan at Walmart to accommodate cooking for a family of 5. I suggest bringing a pan if you intend to cook a decent amount of food. Maybe bring measuring cups too if you plan on cooking something like boxed noodle sides that call for 2/3 cup of milk. Seems like a silly thing to need, but definitely would be helpful to have. Also, the A/C unit in our room was in the kitchen area, but the bedrooms were without A/C or fans, so we had to sleep with our doors cracked to keep the air flowing throughout. For some, this may not be a big issue, but my family is quite warm blooded and they all sleep hot. Definitely made for sweaty kids and a grumpy husband when the rooms got too warm. Other than that, our stay was great. The pool was clean and had plenty of loungers and tables/chairs. The little on-site arcade helped to keep the kids busy during the yucky weather. The maid was very friendly and super helpful. We definitely intend to come back for future stays and now we know the little things we will do differently to maximize the enjoyment of our stay.

I'm sitting in my room as I write this. This is my second night here and I am QUITE pleased thus far. The motel is located in North Wildwood, about 1 mile north of the start of the fun chaos that is the boardwalk. I am here off season; however, I would imagine that since it's a good distance from the action, it's going to be quiet no matter when someone stays here. The room I'm in is a two-room suite. Since I'm by myself, I don't need all this room, but I certainly appreciate it! The main room has a kitchenette--a two burner stove, small sink, and cabinets filled with enough dishes and the like for you to make and serve a spaghetti dinner. No oven, but it does have a small microwave and a full sized refrigerator/freezer. There's a dining table that would seat four, a pull out couch, and a small TV with lots of cable channels--no pay channels, but I'm happy with HGTV and the Food Network :) The best part of this room is the floor to ceiling windows that face the ocean. There's also two little windows with a screen that you can open up if the weather's nice. It's great to sit at the dining table with the windows open and hear the ocean that's literally across the street. Not every room offers this--the website is pretty descriptive on the types and styles of rooms they have. My room (#308) is a style "A." There's also a full bathroom, and a room with two double beds, a small place to hang clothes and a six-drawer dresser. Overall, the room is nothing to write home about--hence the 4 stars. It's not a posh hotel, but that's not why you're here, right? You're here to go to the beach! But if you need to be a bit more comfortable, here's what I would bring: *An iron *A hair dryer. *A set of sheets, blankets, and pillow for the pull out couch, if you're going to bring more than just yourself :) *Coffee and whatever you take in your coffee *Make sure to bring shampoo and lotion! They supply soap, but that's it. My favorite parts of this place: 1. Free wi-fi--just ask the front desk for the code. 2. Location is amazing--I can cross the street, and I'm on the beach! 3. View from my room. 4. The staff is very friendly. 5. The off-season price is very reasonable. You will need to send in a deposit in advance and then pay the balance when you arrive. Bring cash, as they charge %5 for credit cards. I found the Aloha via tripadvisor.com. It was rated the #1 hotel for this area, so I'm VERY surprised there's nothing on here yet. Well, there is now, and it's a ringing endorsement! These guys deserve your business--I certainly will be coming back here again :)

Great place to stay! Beach right across the street (there's nowhere around here to stay directly on the beach). Very well kept and maintained. Clean! Wasn't expecting the fridge and small kitchenette. Moderately dated as far as decor, but who cares. Yes they have some rules here as some have lamented, but it's their place and most rules are common sense. Would stay here again!

Breathtaking view of daybreak over 2nd & JFK from my oceanfront room.

Needing only one night I tried to book something we could walk to dining. Arrived about 1:30 to see if we could check in early, we could. The front desk lady was funny and personable. She was efficient with check in/checkout rules, hotel features. All rooms are keyless. Upon entering the room has been fully updated, bright, clean but on the small side. The pool busy but the noise couldn't be heard in our room. Kitchenette had a stainless steel fridge and a four burner gas stove. Everything you need to prepare a meal. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Air conditioner worked a little to well in our room, it was freezing. Two pool showers, one pubic pool restroom, small designated smoking area, ice machine that actually works. WI-FI signal strong with no issues. Start of the boardwalk across the street. This motel was awesome and I actually think I like it better than our normal place. Two things I'd change. The parking. Finding a spot to fit our small SUV was challenging, only three available with two having poles making them even smaller than the other. The walk to the beach.

I had booked a spot for Corvettes on the Boardwalk in Ocean City and needed a place to crash. But where? I found Summer Nites and from the pictures it looked like a beautiful seaside mansion. Sold! We arrived on Saturday night for a two night stay. Sheila greeted us and proudly showed us her home. The theme throughout the home is the fabulous 50's. We're shown into the kitchen and it is a beautiful recreation of a 50's style diner. Each booth has a few quarters to play the authentic jukebox loaded with, yep! 50s and 60s style records. I had that bad boy crankin' the Beach Boys and Frankie Valli. There is a working Coke machine (with dimes in a can) grab yourself a bottle anytime! There are two working hot tubs on the property and the front porch has rocking chairs to sit and relax. In the garage, Sheilas husband has his 57 Chevy waiting to cruise. Sheila & Rick are car people too?? Very very cool. Each morning we were greeted with an amazing breakfast. To start, a large fruit cup and freshly baked muffins were waiting for us. I poured myself a coffee as I was served a delicious homemade waffle and sausage. This has to be the best Bed & Breakfast I ever stayed at. Our room was the Marilyn Monroe room. Lots of Pink! When I walked into the room, I didn't know what to expect. My wife filled up the Jacuzzi and used the bath bomb in the water. After a 10 minute soak, I can understand why JFK kept Marilyn as his side piece. We checked out on Monday, we were the only guests in the B&B. Sheila sat with us and we talked about the future events at Summer Nites. Sheila, I can honestly say we had a great time and cannot wait to return next year.

This is a long post, but hope it helps anyone considering the Fleur…read more Our stay here in August '22 was our second year. We were so impressed with everything we just had to come back. Like everyone else has said, staff is very nice, from the front desk to the maids. Especially the latter, they even set my younger son's stuffies in different positions each day after making the beds, so it's become something he's fond of and wonders every day what they'll do next. They do come around very early -- by or before 9am when we're still making breakfast, hey we like to sleep in on vacation!! -- but I've never felt that they were put off by it, we just put the "service required" sign on the door, go to the beach, and it's always been very thoroughly cleaned by the time we come back for a late lunch. The room (type "E") was on the 3rd floor again as I had requested the year before, and they even moved us down closer to the shore end of the building as I'd requested this year! These rooms are very nice as you can see in the site pictures. But it's the things you wonder about, whether they are as good as you could hope -- double beds are super comfortable (memory foam it seems, with good support for my creaky back), AC/ventilation is great in both front and bed rooms (we keep the fan running as my wife and me are used to fans and the noise helps us and the boys get to and stay asleep). Bath is great, never had problems with water/temp/pressure, and even though it's a little cramped it's still fine. Plenty of towels! Clean! Nice hardware! They provide plenty of pans/pots/utensils for making basic stuff, but I suggest bringing your own metal grill spatula and tongs to save having to borrow one from the front desk each time (which they happily will do). Their grills are great. The cooktops in the rooms work great too, and the fridge is plenty big enough to hold everything we need for a week. They provide both keurig and drip coffee makers (including the paper filters), just bring your own coffee. Nice big LG TV screen with DirectTV, plenty of channels, but who needs TV when there's the most beautiful beach, wonderful salt water pool, bike rental just a couple blocks away, several restaurants nearby, and that fantastic boardwalk a few more blocks away. The MonsterCone ice cream truck always visits the block each night, best (and reasonably priced!) ice cream you'll find other than Kore Bros on the boardwalk. For breakfast or lunch, the Tangiers across the street is really good. The Crusader next door is also decent. I love Mexican/tex-mex, so several short blocks away is Bandanas, HIGHLY recommended. For frou-frou food, I hear Alosi's at the Pan American a couple blocks up is nice (but expensive). The Do-Wop breakfast/lunch joint is also within walking distance, not to be confused with the Do-Wop restaurant on the boardwalk (which is really good btw). So, now for the ONLY thing I've had an "issue" with when staying at the Fleur the past two years mid-August: there is a group of families who've rented out several first floor rooms, and they seem to stay at the hotel all day in the pool area, drinking and having "fun", but they just take it over. And several of them set up and play cornhole on the sidewalk right next to the parking where our car was, drinking the whole day long... I changed from second week of August last year to third week this year, and they were still there anyway.... The mid-sized pool (which includes a cool spiral water slide for the kiddo's) is so crowded throughout the day by them that my boys don't want to go in. We look longingly at the near-empty Nassau or Tangiers pool across the way and have started thinking... But none of this stuff is the Fleur's fault at all. Just timing, and you can't choose your co-guests. So are there better motels to stay for the price and quality? Maybe. I've read/heard the Aquarius is pretty nice/competitive, and the nearby Starlux is also top-rate (it's a Morey's motel after all), both of those are further up on the boardwalk stretch to boot. I love love love the Jolly Roger (I stayed right down Palm Road from it as a kid in the late 60's and always went to their movie night!). Maybe it's a better deal, and the Tenaglia's are a fantastic family-owner business, but it's further down the Crest. Not so much of a biggie since there's the Jitney Surfer shuttle to the boardwalk if you don't want to drive (and who really wants to), but it is an older property with commensurate "issues" like in-wall A/C that may not cool both rooms as well, quirky retro-deco you might not like... whatever. Bottom line, you really can't go wrong staying here. It's a great stay, and the beach location is perfect. Really hard-pressed to find a better place than this. I'm getting the feeling we might try some place else, say "Meh", and just come back to the Fleur.

Visit Date: July 28, 2025 into July 29, 2025…read more My boyfriend's family was staying here for their Summer Vacation. My boyfriend was there from Monday to Wednesday, my son and I came out to stay Monday night into Tuesday and we left Tuesday night because I had a notary class the next day on July 30. I did love it here, my one issue was not enough parking. They only allowed one car per room to park on the property. I had so much stuff with me because I was not only packed for one night in Wildwood but packed for the next week without my son in case I ended up sleeping over anywhere. I usually don't sleep over anyone's house but my sister's but I always carry extra clothes on nights I won't have my son in case I end up being offered to sleep at a friend's house or something I'm prepared. So because of my issues with being prepared and having too much stuff when I found out I couldn't park at the hotel I had a mini heart attack on the inside. When I got to the hotel, I had to figure out what I needed and unload my car and than I ended up parking the car 3 blocks away. I am not sure if they can arrange more parking, I don't know if it's possible but it's the one gripe I have. The room my boyfriend, son and I stayed in had a king size bed. I bought a cot for my son to sleep on but my son ended up at the end of the bed because he didn't want to sleep in the cot, I ended up in the middle of the bed and my boyfriend ended up at the other end of the bed. The 3 of us fit lol. The room had a kitchenette. I love the rooms with the kitchenettes. I like to bring groceries with me on trips so I can save money on food out so anyplace that has a kitchenette I love. I bought regular coffee to brew and were dismayed to learn they had a keurig, if I knew that I would have bought some of my disposable k cups with me. It ended up being okay they had starbucks k cups that they provided and I was more than happy to drink that. They had a pretty nice pool. I didn't get to visit the beach but I heard they provided beach accessories. This hotel was also located at the end of the boardwalk and very close to it. I would stay here again if I were given a chance.

We parked in a single spot and they do have additional parking up the street. So stop whining about the parking. Simone the manager was very nice and we chatted for a while. COVID decimated this town and it these places are trying to get back to making a profit. So tip your housekeepers. There are 2 of them so leave 10 a night. If You're from Jersey then you tip hard. If you're cheap then shame on you. You stay here because it's convenient, clean and you like being around people. The partiers, crowds and noise are all part of it's charm. You don't come here to get rest, calm and solitude. If you want that then you're in the wrong state. If you grew up in Nj like I did we'll share but we won't shed a tear if you leave unhappy. We love this place. The inconveniences are all easily overcome. We book early in the year so we get great prices $141 a night. $500 less than if we booked now in July ($635 vs close to $1300 w/taxes & fees) for the same 4 nights Mon-Fri. I've read the reviews on all the major sites for the place. Most seem to be from those who are unable to manage their own expectations. They see problems I see it opportunities.
