Book through the motel directly. Blue Palms is a fabulous place. Conveniently located at the middle of the boardwalk, everything is right there! The motel is clean and well maintained and the staff could not be friendlier. Enjoyed the pool, wish it was open until 10 (maybe 8 to 10 as adult time. Wouldn't change a thing!

Socks from walking on the Palm resort floor

My family and I booked two rooms at this hotel for three days two nights. The rooms were seemingly clean. However, the floors were filthy. I've enclosed a picture of my 1 year olds socks (BTW they were brand new socks). I notified the front desk who stated they would have someone get back to me. The manager came to the room the following day to try to rectify the problem by mopping the floor. It makes one wonder if they even do a thorough cleaning to begin with. This was during COVID. Therefore, my anxiety set it. I had a horrible stay.

Kids bunk beds with flat sheets that wont stay on the beds.. And lots of sand. So were they even cleaned??

Our family of 4 stayed at the Blue Palms this past week from aug 31st to sept 4th. Iam writing my review here now because booking dot com edited and cut my review without my permissions so do not believe their reviews! had I known the truth I would not have booked our vacation there! Starting off Blue Palms could have given families with kids the courtesy of breakfast by having wrapped bagels & muffins behind a glass case & still stayed compliant for covid. But they dont.So dont expect anything like that!. The Blue Palms states in their website they are taking extra steps to disinfect everything during these times with covid. Well it certainly didnt look and feel like they even do basic cleaning! And that made us feel leery about our health while we were there. So I was wiping things down with alcohol. Our stay was very disappointing for many reasons. First night there was a huge 5 inch stain on the queen bed blanket. Yes they changed it but it was off putting. There wasnt a safe in the room, no hook to hang anything in the main room, no mirror in the main room, no hot plate or heating element, the floors were not clean & made our feet black, no paper strip across the toilet to show it was sanitized, hair on the bathroom floor, and the tub was broken & wouldn't drain so we could not take showers going on day 3! The bed sheets were flat, not elasticized and too short to stay on the beds. The kids bunks were still very sandy. So not one of us had a good nights sleep! The small fridge was working irregular and building up ice. They brought the safe but mounted it on the shelf of the night stand which anyone could remove from the room in its entirety with the safe in it., so we couldnt use it. I mean how stupid is that??? Almost every time we asked for clean towels we were told they ran out,, and didnt get them replaced (outside our door) until hours later. when I went down to say the tub was broken and could not drain (drain mechanism was broken) so we couldnt take showers, and that there was issue after issue we had to deal with losing time from our vacation to wait for each issue to be resolved, the man who was the night staff got nasty, yelled at me! and blamed us for the issues because we didnt mention them the first few hours we checked in! Well not only were all these things not immediately evident for us to mention,, but it is the hotels job to inspect each room & make sure it is in order before its rented!!!!!And how dare you yell at me for coming to you about it?!!I was polite!!!! And you were unprofessional & abusive!! I was tired and went back to our room to tell my husband they couldnt do anything about it until maintenance would get to it. My husband went down and the man suddenly changed his attitude. See the double standard?? ?? And this made me very upset too!! The day managers were very pleasant, professional and polite and tried to make it better, but the damage & stress was already done . We do not play miniature golf and passed on the tickets to another family. Next time Ill stick with ABnB! I do not recommend The Blue Palms resort! . If you want a pleasant and peaceful vacation do not go here!!Disgusted & appalled at how they cant even provide basic standards, in hospitality!!

Absolutely loved our stay here! While I wish I had been there a little earlier (we came right after a lot of places in town were closed for the season), there was still a lot to enjoy, plus we got to enjoy it sans tons of people. The rental bikes were fabulous - definitely a highlight of the stay. Loved the retro feel, but with new bedding/pictures, etc. The front staff was incredible and overall, a really fun place and location!

    Bathroom in our first room

We came here because of the great reviews they had on booking.com and I'm thinking the employees wrote the reviews because the reviews were dead wrong. I usually take pictures but of course forgot. We stayed in the beachside bungalow and our first room had a filthy bathroom even after cleaning it myself I just couldn't bear it. They state on the website they are taking extra cleaning precautions due to COVID but this made me think otherwise. There was hair in the tub toilet and floor and the managers excuse was that he is short staffed and has 16 year old that have never done the job cleaning the rooms which made me feel even worse about staying here. He moved our room but made it seem like we had to pay just to be moved the way he worded it which wasn't true only if we wanted a larger room which was not offered to us unless we paid more. We moved to a room next door and it was too late to switch rooms because we were only there for another day but the bathroom door had boogers on it and the shower just felt gross being in it we ended up showering at a friends hotel instead. The grill was down on the sidewalk and not in a "grill area" like they describe online. I know it's a beach hotel but it wasn't the quietest and they could use some black out curtains they have cheap shades on the windows that have gaps in them and should be replaced by curtains. I couldn't go back to sleep once I woke up because of the sunlights. My br went and told them and we were offered another room but only at an extra charge which to me is bs since their staff can't properly clean. I brought my own cleaning supplies thank god but the bed had dust on the headboard and the toilet seat was cleaner after I wiped it before that it had looked either dusty or dirty. The only reason I give 2 stars is because it is right by the beach and boardwalk and the front desk worker was very kind, but we won't be returning to this hotel or recommending it to anybody. We left at the perfect time because the power had went out and they seemed confused about it when we mentioned it when we were leaving. Make sure you look at reviews on multiple sights because the reviews on booking.com lead us to staying somewhere that was not up to our satisfaction.

Me and my hubby loves this hotel and sworn coming back next year for a whole week. The waitstaff in the check in area were totally sweet especially the lady who were around the front desk around 12pm. It is one block away from Splash Zone and the Boardwalk. Probably 2 blocks away from one of Morey's Piers amusement parks. The fire pit is definitely a eye catching sight but we didn't get to enjoy due to the hour we get back into our room but did see rainbow after a thunderstorm.

    Blue Palms too
    Tom M.

First time staying here. Blue Palms is owned by Morey's piers. They offer a "stay and play" package for the waterpark/rides that is a great bargain. The rooms have been done over and have nice new wood floors and new furniture. Everything was clean. Our room had two separate rooms, each with a queen size bed. The bathroom was tiny. I really don't spend much time in the room other than sleep and shower.....this room was good enough for that. The bathroom/changing room by the pool was a little bit nasty. Decent location about a block and a half from the boardwalk.

One of our favorites in WW since they have family suites (we get the single over full bunk bedroom with queen murphy bed. Clean, spacious, kitchenettes, lite breakfast, cute pool to cool off in, bikes to use, fire pit and 1/2 blk to boards, what else can you ask for!

    Great weekend on Memorial Day

Excellent motel!!! Close to the boardwalk and beach. Great service. Clean and the pools are awesome!!! Great parking!!! Free bike rentals. Live this place! Awesome!! ‍

I'd have to say, I truly have no complaints about this hotel…read more Upon arrival Starlux was easy to find due to its eccentric design and decor. I was happy to find that the starlux has their own parking lot with free and adequate parking. Check in was simple and straightforward. The lady at the front let us know that everything we see out was free to use. Beach towels, boogie boards, sand toys, bikes, kids helmets and complimentary tea and coffee. I only wish we had known this earlier because it would of saved us packing alot of things! We had room 304. To get to the floor there was an elevator and stairs inside as well as an outdoor circular stair case. The room itself was small. It consisted of two queen beds, a bathroom, dresser, mini fridge, microwave and desk. The whole front of the room was a glass window that does not open, overlooking the street, but not the water. The only window in the whole room was in the bathroom. They have an ac unit, but no ceiling fans. The room itself got pretty stuffy due to poor air circulation. I would suggest bringing a small fan. The bathroom was stocked with lots of towels, neutrogena soap and lotions as well as shampoo and conditioner. Everything was suprising clean. The oddest thing was the small wall that jutted out a few inches from the toilet, making it a tight squeeze. The hotel also has a decent sized pool with a hot tub. We did not use them but we had a nice view of them from our balcony. They also have a small game room and laundry facilities. All in all, I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Wildwood.

We booked a "cottage" which was not a one story stand alone structure as we thought a "cottage" is to be. We were given a room on the second floor requiring going up and down a lot of steps. My husband and I are in our sixties and he has great difficulty with steps. Also we were surprised to have no freezer in the refrigerator, no table nor chair. I had to go to the main hotel 2nd floor to get ice. Also there was no simple coffee maker which normally seems standard especially if breakfast isn't served until 8:00 a.m. I told 2 receptionists that perhaps "cottage" should be removed from their website and replaced with a more accurate description. Outside photos of this building might help too to prevent older people with mobility issues from booking in the "cottage". Both receptionists were kind and understanding. One offered to move us to the first floor of the "cottage " the next day, but my husband didn't want to leave his balcony view by then because the room was so small.

Needing only one night I tried to book something we could walk to dining. Arrived about 1:30 to see if we could check in early, we could. The front desk lady was funny and personable. The pool busy but the noise couldn't be heard in our room. Kitchenette had a stainless steel fridge and a four burner gas stove. Everything you need to prepare a meal. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Air conditioner worked a little to well in our room, it was freezing. Two pool showers, one pubic pool restroom, small designated smoking area, ice machine that actually works. WI-FI signal strong with no issues. Start of the boardwalk across the street. This motel was awesome and I actually think I like it better than our normal place. Two things I'd change. The parking. We're shown into the kitchen and it is a beautiful recreation of a 50's style diner. Each booth has a few quarters to play the authentic jukebox loaded with, yep! 50s and 60s style records. I had that bad boy crankin' the Beach Boys and Frankie Valli. There is a working Coke machine (with dimes in a can) grab yourself a bottle anytime! There are two working hot tubs on the property and the front porch has rocking chairs to sit and relax. In the garage, Sheilas husband has his 57 Chevy waiting to cruise. Sheila & Rick are car people too?? Very very cool. Each morning we were greeted with an amazing breakfast. To start, a large fruit cup and freshly baked muffins were waiting for us. I poured myself a coffee as I was served a delicious homemade waffle and sausage. This has to be the best Bed & Breakfast I ever stayed at. Our room was the Marilyn Monroe room. Lots of Pink! When I walked into the room, I didn't know what to expect. My wife filled up the Jacuzzi and used the bath bomb in the water. After a 10 minute soak, I can understand why JFK kept Marilyn as his side piece. We checked out on Monday, we were the only guests in the B&B. Visit Date: July 28, 2025 into July 29, 2025…read more My boyfriend's family was staying here for their Summer Vacation. My boyfriend was there from Monday to Wednesday, my son and I came out to stay Monday night into Tuesday and we left Tuesday night because I had a notary class the next day on July 30. I did love it here, my one issue was not enough parking. They only allowed one car per room to park on the property. I had so much stuff with me because I was not only packed for one night in Wildwood but packed for the next week without my son in case I ended up sleeping over anywhere. I usually don't sleep over anyone's house but my sister's but I always carry extra clothes on nights I won't have my son in case I end up being offered to sleep at a friend's house or something I'm prepared. So because of my issues with being prepared and having too much stuff when I found out I couldn't park at the hotel I had a mini heart attack on the inside. When I got to the hotel, I had to figure out what I needed and unload my car and than I ended up parking the car 3 blocks away. I am not sure if they can arrange more parking, I don't know if it's possible but it's the one gripe I have. The room my boyfriend, son and I stayed in had a king size bed. I bought a cot for my son to sleep on but my son ended up at the end of the bed because he didn't want to sleep in the cot, I ended up in the middle of the bed and my boyfriend ended up at the other end of the bed. The 3 of us fit lol. The room had a kitchenette. I love the rooms with the kitchenettes. I like to bring groceries with me on trips so I can save money on food out so anyplace that has a kitchenette I love. I bought regular coffee to brew and were dismayed to learn they had a keurig, if I knew that I would have bought some of my disposable k cups with me. It ended up being okay they had starbucks k cups that they provided and I was more than happy to drink that. They had a pretty nice pool. I didn't get to visit the beach but I heard they provided beach accessories. This hotel was also located at the end of the boardwalk and very close to it. I would stay here again if I were given a chance.

We parked in a single spot and they do have additional parking up the street. So stop whining about the parking. Simone the manager was very nice and we chatted for a while. COVID decimated this town and it these places are trying to get back to making a profit. So tip your housekeepers. There are 2 of them so leave 10 a night. If You're from Jersey then you tip hard. If you're cheap then shame on you. You stay here because it's convenient, clean and you like being around people. The partiers, crowds and noise are all part of it's charm. You don't come here to get rest, calm and solitude. If you want that then you're in the wrong state. If you grew up in Nj like I did we'll share but we won't shed a tear if you leave unhappy. We love this place. The inconveniences are all easily overcome. We book early in the year so we get great prices $141 a night. $500 less than if we booked now in July ($635 vs close to $1300 w/taxes & fees) for the same 4 nights Mon-Fri. I've read the reviews on all the major sites for the place. Most seem to be from those who are unable to manage their own expectations. They see problems I see it opportunities.
