    Water leaking or condensation. Mold

We have come to this hotel for years but the experience has been soured. The deal with the tickets is the only reason we stayed. The room has mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. our fridge smelled like something died in it and while they tried to fix that it was still disgusting. We had no towels after getting cleaned and they had to come in for proof that we didn't have any... basically made us feel like liars. This is after I had to go to the desk a few times to ask for more towels. I assume people must steal them but that is not my problem as a full paying guest. The beds had sand in them upon arrival which means they didn't clean the room appropriately to begin with. Disappointing. You expect more for moreys. If it wasn't for the deal then we would not have stayed

Book through the motel directly. Blue Palms is a fabulous place. Conveniently located at the middle of the boardwalk, everything is right there! The motel is clean and well maintained and the staff could not be friendlier. Enjoyed the pool, wish it was open until 10 (maybe 8 to 10 as adult time. Wouldn't change a thing!

My family and I booked two rooms at this hotel for three days two nights. The rooms were seemingly clean. However, the floors were filthy. I've enclosed a picture of my 1 year olds socks (BTW they were brand new socks). I notified the front desk who stated they would have someone get back to me. The manager came to the room the following day to try to rectify the problem by mopping the floor. It makes one wonder if they even do a thorough cleaning to begin with. This was during COVID. Therefore, my anxiety set it. I had a horrible stay.

Kids bunk beds with flat sheets that wont stay on the beds.. And lots of sand. So were they even cleaned??

Our family of 4 stayed at the Blue Palms this past week from aug 31st to sept 4th. Iam writing my review here now because booking dot com edited and cut my review without my permissions so do not believe their reviews! had I known the truth I would not have booked our vacation there! Starting off Blue Palms could have given families with kids the courtesy of breakfast by having wrapped bagels & muffins behind a glass case & still stayed compliant for covid. But they dont.So dont expect anything like that!. The Blue Palms states in their website they are taking extra steps to disinfect everything during these times with covid. Well it certainly didnt look and feel like they even do basic cleaning! And that made us feel leery about our health while we were there. So I was wiping things down with alcohol. Our stay was very disappointing for many reasons. First night there was a huge 5 inch stain on the queen bed blanket. Yes they changed it but it was off putting. There wasnt a safe in the room, no hook to hang anything in the main room, no mirror in the main room, no hot plate or heating element, the floors were not clean & made our feet black, no paper strip across the toilet to show it was sanitized, hair on the bathroom floor, and the tub was broken & wouldn't drain so we could not take showers going on day 3! The bed sheets were flat, not elasticized and too short to stay on the beds. The kids bunks were still very sandy. So not one of us had a good nights sleep! The small fridge was working irregular and building up ice. They brought the safe but mounted it on the shelf of the night stand which anyone could remove from the room in its entirety with the safe in it., so we couldnt use it. I mean how stupid is that??? Almost every time we asked for clean towels we were told they ran out,, and didnt get them replaced (outside our door) until hours later. when I went down to say the tub was broken and could not drain (drain mechanism was broken) so we couldnt take showers, and that there was issue after issue we had to deal with losing time from our vacation to wait for each issue to be resolved, the man who was the night staff got nasty, yelled at me! and blamed us for the issues because we didnt mention them the first few hours we checked in! Well not only were all these things not immediately evident for us to mention,, but it is the hotels job to inspect each room & make sure it is in order before its rented!!!!!And how dare you yell at me for coming to you about it?!!I was polite!!!! And you were unprofessional & abusive!! I was tired and went back to our room to tell my husband they couldnt do anything about it until maintenance would get to it. My husband went down and the man suddenly changed his attitude. See the double standard?? ?? And this made me very upset too!! The day managers were very pleasant, professional and polite and tried to make it better, but the damage & stress was already done . We do not play miniature golf and passed on the tickets to another family. Next time Ill stick with ABnB! I do not recommend The Blue Palms resort! . If you want a pleasant and peaceful vacation do not go here!!Disgusted & appalled at how they cant even provide basic standards, in hospitality!!

Absolutely loved our stay here! While I wish I had been there a little earlier (we came right after a lot of places in town were closed for the season), there was still a lot to enjoy, plus we got to enjoy it sans tons of people. The rental bikes were fabulous - definitely a highlight of the stay. Loved the retro feel, but with new bedding/pictures, etc. The front staff was incredible and overall, a really fun place and location!

We came here because of the great reviews they had on booking.com and I'm thinking the employees wrote the reviews because the reviews were dead wrong. I usually take pictures but of course forgot. We stayed in the beachside bungalow and our first room had a filthy bathroom even after cleaning it myself I just couldn't bear it. They state on the website they are taking extra cleaning precautions due to COVID but this made me think otherwise. There was hair in the tub toilet and floor and the managers excuse was that he is short staffed and has 16 year old that have never done the job cleaning the rooms which made me feel even worse about staying here. He moved our room but made it seem like we had to pay just to be moved the way he worded it which wasn't true only if we wanted a larger room which was not offered to us unless we paid more. We moved to a room next door and it was too late to switch rooms because we were only there for another day but the bathroom door had boogers on it and the shower just felt gross being in it we ended up showering at a friends hotel instead. The grill was down on the sidewalk and not in a "grill area" like they describe online. I know it's a beach hotel but it wasn't the quietest and they could use some black out curtains they have cheap shades on the windows that have gaps in them and should be replaced by curtains. I couldn't go back to sleep once I woke up because of the sunlights. My br went and told them and we were offered another room but only at an extra charge which to me is bs since their staff can't properly clean. I brought my own cleaning supplies thank god but the bed had dust on the headboard and the toilet seat was cleaner after I wiped it before that it had looked either dusty or dirty. The only reason I give 2 stars is because it is right by the beach and boardwalk and the front desk worker was very kind, but we won't be returning to this hotel or recommending it to anybody. We left at the perfect time because the power had went out and they seemed confused about it when we mentioned it when we were leaving. Make sure you look at reviews on multiple sights because the reviews on booking.com lead us to staying somewhere that was not up to our satisfaction.

Me and my hubby loves this hotel and sworn coming back next year for a whole week. The waitstaff in the check in area were totally sweet especially the lady who were around the front desk around 12pm. It is one block away from Splash Zone and the Boardwalk. Probably 2 blocks away from one of Morey's Piers amusement parks. The fire pit is definitely a eye catching sight but we didn't get to enjoy due to the hour we get back into our room but did see rainbow after a thunderstorm.

First time staying here. Blue Palms is owned by Morey's piers. They offer a "stay and play" package for the waterpark/rides that is a great bargain. The rooms have been done over and have nice new wood floors and new furniture. Everything was clean. Our room had two separate rooms, each with a queen size bed. The bathroom was tiny. I really don't spend much time in the room other than sleep and shower.....this room was good enough for that. The bathroom/changing room by the pool was a little bit nasty. Decent location about a block and a half from the boardwalk.

One of our favorites in WW since they have family suites (we get the single over full bunk bedroom with queen murphy bed. Clean, spacious, kitchenettes, lite breakfast, cute pool to cool off in, bikes to use, fire pit and 1/2 blk to boards, what else can you ask for!

Needing only one night I tried to book something we could walk to dining. Arrived about 1:30 to see if we could check in early, we could. The front desk lady was funny and personable. She was efficient with check in/checkout rules, hotel features. All rooms are keyless. Upon entering the room has been fully updated, bright, clean but on the small side. The pool busy but the noise couldn't be heard in our room. Kitchenette had a stainless steel fridge and a four burner gas stove. Everything you need to prepare a meal. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Air conditioner worked a little to well in our room, it was freezing. Two pool showers, one pubic pool restroom, small designated smoking area, ice machine that actually works. WI-FI signal strong with no issues. Start of the boardwalk across the street. This motel was awesome and I actually think I like it better than our normal place. Two things I'd change. The parking. Finding a spot to fit our small SUV was challenging, only three available with two having poles making them even smaller than the other. The walk to the beach.

I had booked a spot for Corvettes on the Boardwalk in Ocean City and needed a place to crash. But where? I found Summer Nites and from the pictures it looked like a beautiful seaside mansion. Sold! We arrived on Saturday night for a two night stay. Sheila greeted us and proudly showed us her home. The theme throughout the home is the fabulous 50's. We're shown into the kitchen and it is a beautiful recreation of a 50's style diner. Each booth has a few quarters to play the authentic jukebox loaded with, yep! 50s and 60s style records. I had that bad boy crankin' the Beach Boys and Frankie Valli. There is a working Coke machine (with dimes in a can) grab yourself a bottle anytime! There are two working hot tubs on the property and the front porch has rocking chairs to sit and relax. In the garage, Sheilas husband has his 57 Chevy waiting to cruise. Sheila & Rick are car people too?? Very very cool. Each morning we were greeted with an amazing breakfast. To start, a large fruit cup and freshly baked muffins were waiting for us. I poured myself a coffee as I was served a delicious homemade waffle and sausage. This has to be the best Bed & Breakfast I ever stayed at. Our room was the Marilyn Monroe room. Lots of Pink! When I walked into the room, I didn't know what to expect. My wife filled up the Jacuzzi and used the bath bomb in the water. After a 10 minute soak, I can understand why JFK kept Marilyn as his side piece. We checked out on Monday, we were the only guests in the B&B. Sheila sat with us and we talked about the future events at Summer Nites. Sheila, I can honestly say we had a great time and cannot wait to return next year.

This is a long post, but hope it helps anyone considering the Fleur…read more Our stay here in August '22 was our second year. We were so impressed with everything we just had to come back. Like everyone else has said, staff is very nice, from the front desk to the maids. Especially the latter, they even set my younger son's stuffies in different positions each day after making the beds, so it's become something he's fond of and wonders every day what they'll do next. They do come around very early -- by or before 9am when we're still making breakfast, hey we like to sleep in on vacation!! -- but I've never felt that they were put off by it, we just put the "service required" sign on the door, go to the beach, and it's always been very thoroughly cleaned by the time we come back for a late lunch. The room (type "E") was on the 3rd floor again as I had requested the year before, and they even moved us down closer to the shore end of the building as I'd requested this year! These rooms are very nice as you can see in the site pictures. But it's the things you wonder about, whether they are as good as you could hope -- double beds are super comfortable (memory foam it seems, with good support for my creaky back), AC/ventilation is great in both front and bed rooms (we keep the fan running as my wife and me are used to fans and the noise helps us and the boys get to and stay asleep). Bath is great, never had problems with water/temp/pressure, and even though it's a little cramped it's still fine. Plenty of towels! Clean! Nice hardware! They provide plenty of pans/pots/utensils for making basic stuff, but I suggest bringing your own metal grill spatula and tongs to save having to borrow one from the front desk each time (which they happily will do). Their grills are great. The cooktops in the rooms work great too, and the fridge is plenty big enough to hold everything we need for a week. They provide both keurig and drip coffee makers (including the paper filters), just bring your own coffee. Nice big LG TV screen with DirectTV, plenty of channels, but who needs TV when there's the most beautiful beach, wonderful salt water pool, bike rental just a couple blocks away, several restaurants nearby, and that fantastic boardwalk a few more blocks away. The MonsterCone ice cream truck always visits the block each night, best (and reasonably priced!) ice cream you'll find other than Kore Bros on the boardwalk. For breakfast or lunch, the Tangiers across the street is really good. The Crusader next door is also decent. I love Mexican/tex-mex, so several short blocks away is Bandanas, HIGHLY recommended. For frou-frou food, I hear Alosi's at the Pan American a couple blocks up is nice (but expensive). The Do-Wop breakfast/lunch joint is also within walking distance, not to be confused with the Do-Wop restaurant on the boardwalk (which is really good btw). So, now for the ONLY thing I've had an "issue" with when staying at the Fleur the past two years mid-August: there is a group of families who've rented out several first floor rooms, and they seem to stay at the hotel all day in the pool area, drinking and having "fun", but they just take it over. And several of them set up and play cornhole on the sidewalk right next to the parking where our car was, drinking the whole day long... I changed from second week of August last year to third week this year, and they were still there anyway.... The mid-sized pool (which includes a cool spiral water slide for the kiddo's) is so crowded throughout the day by them that my boys don't want to go in. We look longingly at the near-empty Nassau or Tangiers pool across the way and have started thinking... But none of this stuff is the Fleur's fault at all. Just timing, and you can't choose your co-guests. So are there better motels to stay for the price and quality? Maybe. I've read/heard the Aquarius is pretty nice/competitive, and the nearby Starlux is also top-rate (it's a Morey's motel after all), both of those are further up on the boardwalk stretch to boot. I love love love the Jolly Roger (I stayed right down Palm Road from it as a kid in the late 60's and always went to their movie night!). Maybe it's a better deal, and the Tenaglia's are a fantastic family-owner business, but it's further down the Crest. Not so much of a biggie since there's the Jitney Surfer shuttle to the boardwalk if you don't want to drive (and who really wants to), but it is an older property with commensurate "issues" like in-wall A/C that may not cool both rooms as well, quirky retro-deco you might not like... whatever. Bottom line, you really can't go wrong staying here. It's a great stay, and the beach location is perfect. Really hard-pressed to find a better place than this. I'm getting the feeling we might try some place else, say "Meh", and just come back to the Fleur.

My boyfriend was there from Monday to Wednesday, my son and I came out to stay Monday night into Tuesday and we left Tuesday night because I had a notary class the next day on July 30. I did love it here, my one issue was not enough parking. They only allowed one car per room to park on the property. I had so much stuff with me because I was not only packed for one night in Wildwood but packed for the next week without my son in case I ended up sleeping over anywhere. I usually don't sleep over anyone's house but my sister's but I always carry extra clothes on nights I won't have my son in case I end up being offered to sleep at a friend's house or something I'm prepared. So because of my issues with being prepared and having too much stuff when I found out I couldn't park at the hotel I had a mini heart attack on the inside. When I got to the hotel, I had to figure out what I needed and unload my car and than I ended up parking the car 3 blocks away. I am not sure if they can arrange more parking, I don't know if it's possible but it's the one gripe I have. The room my boyfriend, son and I stayed in had a king size bed. I bought a cot for my son to sleep on but my son ended up at the end of the bed because he didn't want to sleep in the cot, I ended up in the middle of the bed and my boyfriend ended up at the other end of the bed. The 3 of us fit lol. The room had a kitchenette. I love the rooms with the kitchenettes. I like to bring groceries with me on trips so I can save money on food out so anyplace that has a kitchenette I love. I bought regular coffee to brew and were dismayed to learn they had a keurig, if I knew that I would have bought some of my disposable k cups with me. It ended up being okay they had starbucks k cups that they provided and I was more than happy to drink that. They had a pretty nice pool. I didn't get to visit the beach but I heard they provided beach accessories. This hotel was also located at the end of the boardwalk and very close to it. I've read the reviews on all the major sites for the place. Most seem to be from those who are unable to manage their own expectations. They see problems I see it opportunities. We will be back again in the fall and again next summer. We really love it here, and you can too if you choose too.

This was the most horrible hotel/motel experience I have ever had…read more Upon arrival the office was locked and there were no hotel staff to be found. We had to call Tony (the manager) to come to the hotel to check us in. He arrived dirty and rude and grumbled through checking us in, charged us an additional made up "resort" fee, and informed us that the "piggyback parking" meant that if another guest parked behind us we would have to attempt to locate them ourselves to have them move their vehicle. Upon entering the room we were assaulted with the most horrendous odor, picture a combination of stale cigar smoke and urine. The room was filthy dirty: sticky, sandy tile floor, clumps of dirt in corners, dead bugs under bed. The bed frame was repaired with duct tape. Mold on box spring and pillow cases, and on air conditioner. Save your money and your health! Sleep in your car!!
