Today was my first time trying out Aloha poke. I was driving back from the mall when I saw this sign and instantly wanted to go based on the pictures and the menu. Upon arrival, the employee working behind the register greeted me and it was off to a good start. Because it was my first time, I didn't know how to order their poke bowl as everyone now has so many customization options that you really need to ask what the best option is when you enter. Thankfully she walked me through and even let me taste the different sauces because one of them was quite spicy and I initially was going to get that. Like standard poke places you get your rice, protein, and toppings. Here they have quite a few options for rice in addition to the white and brown. I was surprised to see the cauliflower rice option as I have not seen that before. I went with the half and half (brown rice & salad) option. For my protein, I was able to choose two: tuna and salmon. And for the toppings, I got seaweed, surimi crab, and green onions (I think). For the sauce I got the samurai and the sesame oil. I really liked my poke bowl. The sweet and sour taste of the samurai sauce paired really well with everything that I got. It was when I took the last bite of the fish that it tasted SUPER OFF and smelled really bad that I had to spit it out. Not only did the tuna had a weird look to it as it had been sliced incorrectly but it also had a really bad smell to it. Thankfully, I was able to spit it out right before biting into it. I am hoping that this was a one off error and that I am able to enjoy it the next time I go back because I really did enjoy my poke bowl and the cute ambiance inside. read more

It's hard to find poke spots where the fish isn't old and crusty or you're not having to pay an arm and a leg for good toppings... Anyways, this place had no disappointments. -There are 3 bowl sizes to choose from and the big bowl was very filling (and affordable). -all toppings except the avocado is included/free -make your own bowl or choose from the recommended options -just add everything to your bowl! Food 7/10 - it's not the greatest tbh. While everything was fresh, my biggest peeve was that the ingredients weren't mixed. It was all piled on top and it was up to me to mix everything in a very shallow bowl. Every place I've gone has mixed the ingredients which makes eating it out of any size bowl to times easier. And no matter what size you order, it's only two scoops of protein. Usually when you go up you get another scoop of protein in relation to the last one. Service 10/10 - the young woman who served me was very pleasant and wasn't upset with me asking some questions as it was my first time. She greeted me with a smile. Ambiance - 5/10 I was actually hoping to see the counter where my food would be prepared but they have this high counter where you can barely see over it. The inside is rather bare and doesn't "feel" like much of anything. Not sure if I'll go back but it's nice knowing there's a poké place near me. read more

Good flavors but their bowls are small for the price (look at the size of the bowl in relation to the fork). The small was $11.50 w/ tax and most of it was rice. Literally 4 pieces of chicken (but they were large dices) and they have to squish everything in which results to leaving half the toppings on the top of the container and no room to mix up the ingredients without having everything fall out. Good flavor, but my Lord, get bigger bowls and increase ingredients to give some value. I think they have specials, which give you a larger bowl for $10 and that might be worth it, but the small bowl is really not worth it. Too many other poke places to choose a sub-par one. read more

I ordered the crunch bowl a little after lunch time. The service was awesome and I know they were training a new employee. I saw the rice being scooped out of a metal tray and should've stopped my order right then and there. My rice was cold and a bit hard. I was starving and don't waste food but I was really sad while eating. The toppings and flavors are good but bowls are tiny. read more

$18 rice !! STAY AWAY. Let's make this simple. $18 bowl of rice (I literally made rice this morning for a dish I should of just taken that with me) . Only one small scoop of tuna (small like you better pay attention you just might miss it) , two fork bites of crab and one spoon of edamame with a drizzle of sauce that is so small it can't even coat the $18 rice. Austin has poke bow places and they have $13 large bowl , three scoops of tuna or meat of choice marinated cucumber not plain cucumber, nice scoop of crab house ponzu sauce for $13. I could have gotten two sushi rolls for few bucks exts and been satisfied. The owner should be ashamed but I can't imagine this place doing well unless you hate your money. I love this place ! The staff are very hospitable and sweet. Heads up, this a card only location. Me and my friend got chicken bowls, one crunchy style and the other build-my-own. The ingredients were super fresh and everything just worked. 5/5 recommend. read more

They offer little to nothing on their menu and when I go to other poke I always have alot of opinions, they take every creativeness out of it completely and charged me 15$ for 5 items on plain rice... I will never try this place again and please choose another company and save yourself a headache read more

I didnt think i would give a 5 star since they are not a typica poke place where you can pick and choose the ingredients when they are building the bowl. But i love the marination and the freshness of my bowl, I got marinated chicken with rice and crunchy bowl. Love it! Will definitely be back. read more

a must in this area. when you want something light and good for you, why not deconstructed sushi? not only is this super healthy, but it's incredibly fresh (i know it's expected but this place is even more pungent/umami/flavorful than u can imagine) and while that should be the standard sadly it's usually not, which can be an issue with raw foods, like try sushi from a food court and you may know what i mean; or most fast food. i like to not only enjoy the taste but feel good after. and the staff even take that to the next level. something very chill and inviting about this crew, they were accommodating enough to make me feel like a veteran even though it was my first visit. the VERY clear menu is easy to navigate and i liked that i could choose my ingredients from a list rather than sometimes awkwardly ask what things behind the glass are (other poke places). you would think you'd want to see the ingredients to choose like MODpizza,but i found it more useful on a menu this time; that's just me. love the wasabi sauce btw, a must have! i know i'll be coming here often, plenty of outdoor seating to let your kids runaround too. yes fountain drinks may be nice but i love that they still had fresh free water at least. read more

OMG the freshest food ever! I'm such a picky eater and this is now my go to when on the run.

I came in this evening for the first time. I'm always nervous to tell places my food allergies (gluten, sesame, and pineapple) as a lot of places make me feel like they're questioning if it's a "choice" or the severity of the allergy. The workers were super sweet and accommodating. They also let me know they have a gf soy sauce which is rare! I appreciate the care they took and the food look delish! Food was great! They are a bit expensive but good. I tried to go there a few weeks ago and no one was in the store! I yelled and everything. When I went last week the girl working there wasn't thrilled to be at work but it looked like she was the only one there and dealing with a lot of pick up orders. I'll go again though. read more

Wow! This place is great. I was shopping with my family across the road and saw this place on our way out. I'm a fan of Sushi, but my kids aren't. So I was unsure if they would have options. So I just figured we would give it a shot, I am glad we did. First off the place was spotless. The staff was very helpful and super friendly. My food was incredible and the kids were even able to get a chicken teriyaki bowls. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. They also had plugs for the kids to charge their video games. Infuriatingly terrible . The rice tasted like plastic and the salmon was not fresh. The menu was very confusing and hard to grasp and from my understanding the menu is very limited compared to other poke places. Do not recommend if you are just trying poke for the first time. read more

i usually truly love this place but today i went with my sister and her bf today and we were their only customers. they forgot my sister's avocado and my sprite, which both cost extra. they also gave me white rice instead of brown. i understand when restaurants are busy and/or are understaffed, but we were their only customers inside the building, and they couldn't care to pay attention to our order. i really love this place and i'm glad it opened and i've been bragging about it for weeks but today was just a little upsetting. read more
