I ordered the Hoisin BBQ Chicken plate. Their menu has a lot of different options to choose from. The chicken is so moist & it comes with a decent portion amount- definitely shareable. They are friendly & it's a short wait for the food to be ready. They are located in the South Maui Gardens. Parking- street parking or small lot nearby

I tried Aloha Prime Eatery when I was at the South Maui Gardens and was very satisfied with my meal. I ordered and my ahi poke was ready even before I put my wallet away and picked out my drink from the cooler! The cuts of fish were thick and creamy and delicious. I enjoy raw onions in my salads and sandwiches but I found these onions quite strong. I didn't mind it but something to look out for if you are sensitive to onion tastes. The rice was fluffy and I enjoyed the ogu/limu mixed with the fish. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my poke plate here and would come back next time I visit the South Maui Gardens!

This place is absolutely delicious . Don't let any lines deter you - everything moves pretty fast . I had the shoyu poke which is so tasty and the fish melts in your mouth. My dad got the potato crusted mahi and it is out of this world ! The Food Oasis is a vibe alone and is truly a great spot to come check out a bunch of delicious food trucks .

Love this food truck. Had enjoyed it last year and when back for more vacation time in Maui, decided to hit it up again. This time I tried the potato crusted Mahi mahi--perfectly crisp exterior on top of creamy mashed potatoes. It was very rich and decadent and delicious. I'd maybe consider putting the red wine sauce on the side so that none of the crispy bits get soggy, but otherwise perfectly cooked dish! Order at the truck and they give you a buzzer. Luckily no line on a Saturday night at 5:15 or so, and food was ready within about 20mins. I'll definitely be back!!

I saw this place on one of my bloggers . Prime rib at a food truck. I knew I had to try it since I love prime rib. It's my favorite. The place is located in a old truck park in Kehie There are over 15 or more trucks there so it is great location for everyone. So I got the 6oz prime rib, medium rare. It was 30 bucks. It came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The dish looked great. However the prime rib was just ok. It was very hard to cut with a plastic knife. It was really chewy and didn't seem to be of good quality. I ended up picking it up and eating it like a caveman. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were perfect. I was really disappointed since I saw all the other reviews. My wife said it's a food truck, what did you expect. I want better for 30 bucks. Oh well . Oh a thing I didn't like was their credit machine. It was a tablet like thing. It was right in the sun and you couldn't even read the screen. Of course it has the tip set high and you can't continue unless you tap ok but you would of given the top tip. Took a bit but I saw a no tip but not custom tip. To end up paying for my meal. They seemed to have a pretty big menu. They were sold out of the French dip and the prime Philly which would of been a cheaper way of trying their meat. Disappointing.

We've come to aloha prime eatery in the south Maui gardens several times and it has quickly become one of our favorite places to get some delicious food with great service ! Chef Allen creates the best upscale island style dishes along side his wife Shelby who always greets us with aloha ! Ahi Bruschetta was so perfectly light and fresh with amazing flavors and the Ahi is always the freshest sashimi grade . the prime rib is one of the best we've ever had ! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu though ! We also tried the Seared ahi mango salad 10/10 Rosen bbq chicken 10/10 Panko ahi roll 10/10 French dip 10/10

Last time I was here with my husband was way back in January of this year. Now, we're back on Maui for the weekend, and my husband couldn't stop talking about Aloha Prime Eatery. After being disappointed with the pricey but low-quality food at our hotel, we were so glad to return here. Aloha Prime Eatery literally saved our day and they did not disappoint. Here's what we got: 1. Hoisin BBQ Chicken Two scoops of jasmine rice, delicious potato mac salad, and hoisin BBQ chicken that's sweet, savory, perfectly cooked and tender. Generous portion too! 2. Pan Seared Ono A special of the day and this plate blew us away!!! The blackened fish with mango salsa and mango shallot beurre blanc was a flavor explosion. The fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The mango salsa and mango shallot beurre blanc is unforgettable. Even the mashed potatoes were so ono. After a very good lunch that's truly broke da mouth, my husband immediately planned our afternoon raid because we initially went here for the prime rib but it wasn't ready yet when we got there at opening time. So we went back in the afternoon because he was really determined to grab that prime rib and bring it back to Oahu. And I'm so glad we did! When we got home, we just couldn't wait to dig in. 3. Prime Rib The prime rib was a generous portion, cooked medium-rare, perfectly seasoned, and paired wonderfully with horseradish cream and au jus. Who would've thought you could get such high-quality prime rib from a food truck? It was even better than what we had in Las Vegas. Chef Al definitely knows what he's doing. He's very creative and his flavors are on point! I am simply blown away by this food truck with 5-star quality and I am so glad my husband discovered this place. The service is superb and friendly, and the price is totally worth it for the quality of food you get. We can't wait to come back and eat here again! 100% highly recommend this hidden culinary gem at South Maui Gardens! Thank you so much Chef Al and Shelby for your phenomenal food and outstanding service!

When my wife told me we were going to Maui for the weekend, I literally had one thing on my mind for a week and it was this food truck. My possibly bad and quick way of describing this is fine dining in a food truck. Maybe even an elevated Hawaiian plate lunch. Whatever it is, it's good and you will want to come back. Since the first visit, when I find out friends and family are going to Maui, I tell them to go here first and last. I honestly think they are better than convenient hotel restaurants who have the same price point but worse quality. Aloha Prime Eatery is both a high price but higher quality that justifies those prices. If your goal for traveling is to eat something unique, then this food truck is for you. You will remember this place and what you ate for a long time. Al remembered us from several months ago. I was surprised he remembered us and our first 5 star review! Let me tell you, as you can see from this update, this is a second 5 star as he knocked it out the park again! The food truck is now located in the back with the rest of the food trucks and still stands out as the lone blue truck in the middle of the path. To me, there's only one food truck here and that's Al and Shelby's blue truck. We actually came by TWICE today, the first time we came at opening as we were conveniently in the area at the time and bought the bbq hoisin chicken and the pan seared ono special. We originally came for the prime rib but Al said it wasn't ready yet so we came by a second time in the afternoon before we left Maui and got our prime rib plate! I didn't take photos as it's a bad picture when it's gone cold. The hoisin chicken was perfect. We've had some here on Oahu that just aren't the same and say Al does it better every time. The pan seared ono was just a visually beautiful plate that had all the right flavor combinations. The mango and beurre blanc was addicting and you just kept wanting more of that taste. The prime rib was a 12 ounce and the best prime rib I've had. Perfectly seasoned and put any buffet prime rib in Vegas to shame. Every plate had generous portions. Al's food speaks for itself. I don't know if a restaurant is in their future because the food that's made deserves to be put on a proper plate and not in a paper box. What I do know is this food truck and family business is going places with their phenomenal flavors as there's nothing like it in terms of food trucks my wife and I have ordered food from. We will most definitely be coming back again when we're in Maui. Thanks again to Al and Shelby for your unforgettable food and your generosity!

4.5 Stars Tried the Hoisin Chicken Plate ($18) - HUGE portions and really tasty. Mac salad was just okay though. They also had poke bowls and a few other very gourmet looking dishes. It took quite a long time to prepare but we came early, so perhaps they were still firing up the grill. The food garden area is lovely. Lots of nice, clean, shaded tables to sit at and well-maintained gardens.

Aloha from washington During our recent trip to Maui my wife and I stopped at the Kihei food oasis and decided to try this place out... it was our favorite meal during our trip. I wish we had more time I would have stopped by again! You get a ton of food for a great price and it was the best poke I've ever had. The staff was extremely friendly and the service was fast, and we love the ambiance of the Kihei food oasis. Looking forward to coming back one day.

First time visiting Maui. Hungry from flying all day from the mainland so looked up places close by our airbnb. Ordered Half hawaiian half shoyu poke, Hoisen bbq chicken and Ono fish and chips. The food was 'ono! So good. Our fav was the Bbq chicken then the poke and then the fish and chips. This place is a food truck in an area with many other food trucks. Lots of seating outdoors with shade so that was nice. The guy working the counter came out and greeted us and walked us through the menu. Very nice vibes. Mahalo

I was looking for a new place to try on the island. I've eaten a lot of places. So I thought I'd try this food truck. I had the mahi that was potato crusted. It was really good. The sauce was really good. However, the asparagus was absolute mush. Also, at this price point I find it challenging to eat with plastic utensils. I guess that's part of the food truck ambience but for me I really wanted a real fork. The reason I'm giving this a three star review is that it took over 30 minutes for me to get my order and the asparagus was overcooked. Otherwise, I would've given it a four star rating. To be fair, I don't think I've ever given a food truck anything more than a four star rating. There was not a long line that night either. read more

I don't recall the two types of Poke Bowls my wife and I ordered but they were absolutely delicious. Perfect meal after a long day. Refreshing and very filling. The service was friendly and welcoming for a couple of folks taking awhile to order. We were there on Tuesday night and there was live music which was very cool. Definitely check this place out. My fiancé and I stopped at this little oasis on our way back from wailea. I had seen Kehei Food Oasis all over social media and knew we needed to stop by and try it out. What I didn't know is that this would be the BEST meal I had all week while in Maui. My fiancé and I compiled a list of all the places we ate on our trip (over 16) and this place was without a doubt #1 for me. I ordered the hoisin bbq chicken. The order was HUGE. Great new food truck in Maui opened by a friend of ours. Food is outstanding! Every dish ordered was perfect. I wanted to eat there again and again to try all their dishes. If you want to have the prime rib, make sure to call early in the day to reserve it because it always sells out. We ordered the fish tacos and poke salad. One of the best fish tacos and poke I've ever had in Maui and I've eaten A Lot of them on the island. You gotta go try. It does not disappoint. In a lush oasis in Kihei, this food truck serves up prime meals, but it does come at a high cost. After I paid for a juice, I was disappointed that the drink that was advertised was not available in the cooler. I had to reach around and try to locate the drink for several minutes in the icy depths, and when it was not available, I requested a refund. Further issues arose as the employee at the register was not able to provide a refund for my drink. Finally, another employee came out of the food truck and was unable to retrieve the drink from the cooler, instead, he said I should just take another drink. I repeatedly requested a refund, and after the employee kept insisting that they are all similar drinks, and that I should take one of these alternative options they had, I finally succumbed and took a juice that was not close to what I had ordered. Although I feel the service could be improved at Aloha Prime Eatery, I enjoyed the ahi mango salad with avocado on the beach while watching the sunset. read more

We came to see the luau at South Maui gardens and stumbled upon this gem. The service was incredible. A happy smiling crew and incredible food. The seared ahi was especially delicious. The quality of ahi was exceptional. It literally melts in your mouth. I'd definitely get 2 orders next time. I love that they have a kids menu too. A lot of food trucks just serve up really "elevated" foods and my kids won't even look at it so fries and chicken tenders were perfect for them! The beverages were also a really fair price! The garden is such a beautiful place to walk through and sit while dining. 10/10 recommend this food truck! read more

I've been to almost all the food trucks on Maui and this one is by far my favorite. Their Ahi Bruschetta is my top choice... It tasted so delicious it left me speechless and confused, in the best way possible. For a split second, I had forgotten that I was eating food from a food truck as the food was so flavorful it felt as if I ate something from a fancy restaurant with a Michelin Star. The service, staff, as well as the chef were truly outstanding. So friendly and welcoming, they even remembered my name after coming the second time. The location is perfect as it is surrounded by lush greenery with lots of seating areas great throughout the day and night. I can't recommend this place enough and will continue supporting and enjoying their hospitality and mouthwatering food. read more

I think we had the hoisin chicken plate for dinner 5 nights out of our 7 night stay. With a busy toddler who doesn't love sitting down at a restaurant, it's often hard to find good food to go. This chicken plate is our new go to when visiting Kihei. So yummy! read more

What a perfect Kihei Food Spot! We needed a place like this in Kihei. Easy accessible, Great atmosphere, With BOMB food! We had the Panko Crusted Ahi Tuna Roll to start, and when I tell you, it had every element to awaken our taste buds before our Main dish. This will be my need to start with dish every time we come here. My husband had the French dip, which, in His words, " This is Fiyah." And I enjoyed an excellent, well-seasoned Prime Rib, paired with creamy mashed potatoes. Overall, I give this spot a 5-star. It met our expectations and then some. Braaa Broke Da Mouth!!! Got the Panko Ahi, Ono Fish and Chips and Ono special. All amazing and cooked perfectly but especially the Panko Ahi Roll... The sauce at the bottom of the plate is straight up heaven. SOOO GOOD!! Looking forward to going back to try the prime rib. read more

Stopped by for a plate of the Hoisin BBQ chicken on a recent trip to Maui. The chicken/sauce was incredible, the potato mac salad was a delicious twist on the classic mac and even the rice was perfect with a little dash of furikake. The owner and cashier were both very nice although the owner wouldn't divulge the secret to his sauce! (He should bottle it and sell it). I'm kicking myself for not getting one of their shirts. Also for anyone wondering, the whole Kihei Food Oasis where Aloha Prime Eatery was located was a very cool spot tucked away in Kihei and definitely a must visit in general. read more

My wife and I have been to Maui several times and this is definitely one of the best places to eat. The food truck and the menu does not look like much but the food is absolutely amazing. Everything was fresh and not too salty like many other places. I had the Ahi Mango salad. Ahi was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. My wife had the Mahi with deep fried artichoke hearts with a sauce to die for. DELICIOUS! All at a reasonable price. Highly recommend. read more

The menu described my sandwich as chicken breast, sun dried tomato, toasted pine nuts, provolone, and pesto spread, and my father's simply as sauerkraut and mustard. It was busy when we were there, so it took about 10 minutes to order and another 15 minutes for the food to come out. Since we ordered separately, my food came out first and even though I planned to wait, I had enough time to eat it while waiting for my dad's. The chicken pesto panini ended up being quite good. The chicken was moist and flavorful and there was more than enough cheese. The sun dried tomatoes added a nice pop of flavor, although I wish there had been more. My favorite part was the pesto spread and pine nuts, especially the garlicky flavor from the pesto. My dad also thought his hot dog was good. The lau lau pork was juicy and tender, and paired perfectly with the lomi lomi and mac salad. There are picnic tables in the parking lot where you can enjoy your meal, and you might even be greeted by a cute kitty hoping to share your food.

Mixed plate came with mochiko chicken, hamburger steak, and pork belly. Mochiko chicken was good, can't imagine how much better it would have been if we came a little earlier. Hamburger steak was good. Not too thick which made it flavorful. The pork belly was great mixed in with those greens. Wife loved the salmon, hefty portion leaving us with some leftovers. Overall another great food truck in the area if you're looking for great food.

They've been part of the island's food scene for over 12 years now, and I still remember their off-the-beaten-path spot on Hobron Avenue in Kahului. You would have never guessed there was delicious food being served up there, but those who knew, knew. These days, you can find them in Kahului parked at Da Tambayan Corner on Lono Avenue, or sometimes popping up out at Ho'okipa. Now, full disclosure -- I don't eat raw fish, so I can't personally vouch for their poke bowls, but that's what they're known for and I've had a number of friends and family enjoy it. What I can vouch for, though, is their fried poke -- perfectly seasoned ahi cubes, floured and fried, served over rice and lettuce, and drizzled with a creamy mayo aioli. Get it hurricane style for extra sauce and furikake seasoning -- it's delicious and gives it an extra boost as once in a while it's on the drier side. Another favorite is the poke bake, which is just as satisfying and generously portioned. Started getting this recently and it hits the spot. Highly recommend either dish, especially if you're like me and prefer your fish cooked. And whatever you do, don't skip the furikake fries -- curly fries topped with aioli and furikake. SO good. Beyond the great food, my team has worked with Like Poke for company events, and they're always a hit. Friendly service and consistent quality eats that keep people coming back -- they're a favorite among locals for a reason.

The truck is in the parking lot across of the kula marketplace store. We had the special apple banana pancakes with Nutella, the pulled pork loco moco over fried rice, and the regular eggs Benedict. Everything was so tasty and delicious. 10/10 recommend for a good breakfast. The service was great too with super friendly cashier. Only issue is the flies that come around when the food comes... they did have a fly fan on our table but it wasn't working. But small price to pay for a good outdoor breakfast! We will definitely come back to try lunch next time.
