I love coming here. I never use the post office because I can come here and get the same services without any hassle. I have yet to wait in a line, they're locally run, and service is always so friendly. I'm secretly very insecure about my lack of shipping and mailing know-how. I haven't had to ship TO anyone until recently, as I've always thought shipping prices from Hawaii were ghastly and just avoided it altogether, but I now use an online buying and selling service that requires it. I literally come with my packages in pieces and completely unorganized; someone will package everything for me with no problems or scoldings. I do a lot of prepaid shipping and didn't have the sense to buy adhesive labels (I just did, 7 packages later!) so I print the label on paper and give it to them with my package; they have adhesive sleeves and will use it to affix my label, all for free. These little services they do for people like me will keep me coming back every time. ASAP is also now located across Waimalu Elementary, around the corner from Dave's Ice Cream and next to the laundromat, Pizza Hut, Marujyu, you get it. And they're open until 7pm! They work with UPS, USPS and Fed Ex so you can't go wrong. Aloha Ship and Pack is awesome. You should use them!

One-line: You'll save me some $$$ in shipping? Yes please! BOOTS: It all starts with a story, and this particular one starts with leather boots (why do I need leather boots in Hawaii?). I bought two pairs but they were too big. In the process of returning them, found out the company only does advertised free returns for the Continental U.S.. Whatevs, my bad for not reading the tiny fine print, I get it. I did an online quote with the size/weight of the [giant box] they sent me and it came out to $50. (I almost spit out my coffee) FEDEX: I showed up at ASAP, told the staff my story (which we laughed like crazy at), and they started measuring my box. Here's how they earn a 5 star rating (and then some): The guy opens the box (with my ok), he arranges them in a different box and then voila! I have now saved $10 in shipping. He didn't even charge me for the new box or a handling/wrapping fee. Bonus--my new box'll ship the next day, 2 day shipping (the cheapest option) with tracking, and I should get my return processed within the next week or so. PS: ASAP accepts USPS, UPS, and FedEx packages. For items going out, they do a lot of Priority Mail and he said they get a better rate (than UPS) if you ship things via FedEx. Call ahead to find out the deadline to get your package out that day (it's different for all 3). The staff is extremely helpful--I tend to ship things back in a disgruntled state (REGRET PURCHASE SIGH) but we always talk story through the process and I always walk out feeling significantly better, just knowing that it's DONE. I've been using this service for a few years and was treated unprofessionally and disrespectfully today by Shelley, unfortunately. I have a small art business. I ship paintings and prints of my paintings. Each order really means a lot to me and I think carefully about how to get it to my customer in the best condition possible. Today I was spoken down to disrespectfully when asking nicely to put bubble wrap a different way around the canvas so as not to leave any indenting. This was not the standard way they are used to wrapping a painting but I don't feel that it is a big issue to just invert the bubble wrap and was shocked and stunned when immediately questioned and spoken down to when making my simple request. As a paying customer and also the artist shipping my own painting I should have not been questioned about my specific packing request, nor spoken to and treated so unprofessionally. Im truly saddened and disappointed. read more

Very friendly and helpful staff. They always smile even though you know they must have heard the question you're asking a million times. They very simply go over costs and options and are willing to answer any question you have. They tell you the estimated delivery date and give you a receipt with tracking numbers so you can follow your packages. They'll even take out all of the different available designs of stamps when buying a stamp book. read more

I've been coming to this place for years. This is my "Go To" place to drop off UPS pick ups and send general USPS parcel items. I stopped going to the Aiea Post Office. I visit often because I do almost all my on-line shopping at Amazon and I return items regularly. The staff have been pleasant and helpful. I was there this morning and they suggested I go with a smaller box to get 1st class and a cheaper shipping rate. She opened my original shipping box, transferred everything for me. Walked in this afternoon to drop off my UPS packages for shipping. I needed to purchase a box for my other UPS item that I needed to return; however, they packaged it for me at no cost. I live in an apartment complex in Pearl City. If I am not home when UPS attempts delivery, they leave my package at ASAP. This is so much more convenient than having to go to lagoon drive by the airport as in the past. I mostly come here to drop off my packages because it's so close to my house. They answer all of my questions and display great customer service. I had an untraditional package to mail internationally. I had put off mailing it for several months because I was uncertain as to how to package it up. I went to Aloha Ship and Pack and my package was on the way to its destination within ten minutes. I wish I would have known about Aloha Ship and Pack much earlier! Pros: 1. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They answered all of my questions without hesitation, and provided helpful information. 2. Ease of service. I literally had to fill out the shipping label and sign a form. That was it! They boxed up my package and filled out the customs form electronically for me. 3. Convenient location. Right off Moanalua Road in the shopping center, it is easy to access. Plus the parking right out front made the trip that much more simple and expedient. 4. Variety in services offered. In addition to simple shipping services, which they offer via USPS, FedEx, or UPS, they also offer many business services as well. Business cards, copying, notary services, document shredding and mailbox rentals are but a few of their services. Their website also states they buy back textbooks, but I didn't notice this service while in store. The tweezers point of sale at the counter was a cute touch. Cons: 1. Lack of signage. The only sign I noticed advertising the store itself was directly above the store entrance door. They are abbreviated ASAP, and it can be quite difficult to view from the road while driving by. 2. Store organization. A quick glance behind the counters can reveal slight disorganization of their products. While the shopping boxes were neatly stored, many other boxes and items seemed out of place. Their back office door was left open and looked a bit disorganized as well. Bottom Line: I highly recommend Aloha Ship and Pack without any reservations. read more

Easy access in new location by Dave's Ice Cream. This is so much easier than Aiea post office. I use them for all of my prepaid UPS packages, and they also mail USPS packages and flat rate boxes. Nice and friendly! (In the fall, they packed up my son's skateboard and mailed it to Oregon. Entire cost of packing and shipping was less than 50 dollars) read more

Went to drop off a UPS pkg and Cassandra helped us! She so nice as she said they can mail USPS too so she saved me a trip to pearl city post office! I thought only UPS but they do everything a post office does and more! She helped me save money by suggesting a flat rate box rather than my 2 envelopes going to the same address. So she put the 2 envelopes in the box so instead if paying for 2 pkgs I just paid for 1 flat rate box! That's what you call customer service when you save the customer money! She even told me to join a reward program so now I get 10 percent off next time I go there! Will go there from now on! No lines and friendly helpful staff! Mahalo Cassandra!!! Went there again on sept 27 to drop off a UPS pkg again and met OWEN.. so friendly and nice and he taped my box for me and suggested I take a photo of my pkg (just in case) for extra assurance. He also told me it would go out that night. His reassurance and great customer service left me smiling and felt at ease. I'm so lucky to have stumbled upon ASAP and met 2 great employees Cassandra and Owen. Will definitely go there to mail and send out my future packages. Plus no long lines like the post office! I agree 100% with all the glowing positive reviews. Needed to return a phone to Amazon, but wanted to pack it in another box for added protection. I already had my return label printed. Was told there was no charge to repack it, they had an old box they could use, would repack it and send it at no charge. Wow, I have other things I need sent to the mainland and will not go to the post office anymore. Found my new favorite place to mail packages. read more

The parking lot here is really tight but I only had to drop something off real quick so I used one of the Maruju Marker parking stalls. Crissandra was so helpful ! and also very very pleasant. I know how postal workers usually get around the holidays with the business of people trying to ship out everything to their loved ones. As soon as I walked in the door she greeted me and helped me out even though she was busy helping a UPS man unload boxes. I wasn't sure if I could re-use the FedEx box that my phone came in but she reassured me it would be fine. I ran out of tape at home so she offered to tape up my boxes and told me just to take a pic of the shipping labels so I could track my packages. I was in and out within a few minutes. If I ever need to use UPS again I will definitely be back to see her. Girl if you are reading this your aloha spirit was much appreciated have a happy holidays! read more

Went here saturday around 2pm for a last minute shipping of my passport renewal. USPS around the area were all closed and im not about to go to mililani or honolulu. They have fedex, ups, usps shipping services available to choose from. The lady, seems like shes the owner, was very helpful and polite. She helped my with my littlest needs. The store was not too big but every customer that would go in there were in and out in less than 5 mins, they attend to everyone in a timely manner. Would definitely go back there again for easy, breezy shipping! read more

I truly enjoyed using this center to ship and receive items. Its in the perfect location so I never hated going to get mail because I knew that after getting mail I could look forward to eating next door and shopping across the parking lot or eating ice cream across the street. The personnel were very personable, amiable and knowledgeable. They knew me by name and asked me how things were. They woud, if I had chosen an expensive shipping option, offer cheaper alternatives. After getting back from deployment they didn't hassle me about the bills. Price was affordable. So all in all a great service across the board!! Highly recommend this spot! read more
