I wish this place was a chain! The best premium coffee you can find and cheaper than Starbucks. The coffee was made freshly from the beans you pick. I happened to see this cool spot from across the street at Ishihara Market, so I was curious and stopped by. Auntie Candy, whose name I only know from the other reviews, was so welcoming and made me feel like a VIP! I am a coffee shop lover and go for the atmosphere as much as for the coffee. She had so many dairy/non-dairy options, and told me she would make the best coffee I ever had. She was pretty close, as it was certainly up there. I had an iced coconut mocha with almond milk. It is tasty! The art gallery is gorgeous and very cozy. I was concerned that she wouldn't have enough visitors here, as it is a quaint town here in Waimea. I frequent Aloha'n Paradise when we are staying in Waimea. The storefront is pleasant and welcoming and the iced lattes are good. The small downsides of my visits are that they are never open on the weekend and sometimes randomly closed when their hours say they are open. They are sometimes out of basic ingredients that can last into the next day. Still good however, so give them a try. The owners are friendly. read more

Came across this delightful shop as I was out looking for a latte. Seth made me the perfect Lavendar Matcha Latte with coconut milk. Delicious. I enjoyed a chocolate chip chocolate muffin too. There was beautiful art inside for viewing and purchase. I am giving it 4 stars because they do not serve drip coffee. My Dad does not drink the "fancy stuff" as he calls it. The hubs and I were on route to Waimea canyon to explore. We both needed some caffeine to start our day. After reading some of the reviews it seemed legit. The address was put into google maps and we were there within ten minutes. It seems that coffee for purchase was located in the back once you enter. It also looked like a home kitchen converted into a little shop. I ordered an americano. This was my first time, and had I known it was a type of drink where the espresso was watered down by hot water, I wouldn't have gotten it. That was my fault of not knowing. It tasted diluted and IMO not for me. I usually stick to the standard of traditionally brewed with a few shots. I wanted to try something new which backfired oh well. The hubby ordered a cold brew that he shared with me. The lady said it was very strong which excited him. She asked what size and opened the fridge to reveal the pitcher of coffee to pour into a cup. That took 2 seconds. I wonder how long that was sitting in the fridge since it was made? This is quaint coffee shop that offers teas, coffee, and breakfast items. This is the best place to go for Kauai coffee. The owner has such incredible hospitality and will make your coffee to order. There is no other place where they will take as much time and care to make the perfect cup with the right strength and sweetness! The art gallery is worth viewing as well!
