I would have loved to give this place 4 stars, but it fell a little short for a couple of reasons. We visited on Father's Day, and I wanted to try one of the side items. However, our waiter immediately discouraged me from ordering the Tacos Gobernadorbecaise they don't sell alacart, which was disappointing. The taquitos plate was heavily smothered with no beanswith no flaver, which overpowered the different protein flavors and made the dish taste somewhat bland. A side of guacamole or crema would have helped balance the flavors and improve the overall presentation. My daughter ordered the enchilada plate, and to our surprise, it didn't come with beans and rice. This was the first time we've ever been served enchiladas without those traditional sides. The price difference to add them was less than $1, so it was difficult to understand why they weren't included. Oh, and one of the TVs showing the soccer game was about 15 minutes behind the others. LOL. Window blinds were off balance and paper material making the place feel cheap. It's a shame because the issues I mentioned seem relatively easy to fix. Addressing them would go a long way toward improving the overall dining experience. I do admit that the other dishes we tried had very good flavor and I may come and try again in a few months... Yes I came back already 3/25/26 and it didn't take me 4 years this time. hahaha I can't stay away. Ordered a half order of fish ceviche. MY GOD ITS SUCH A HUGE SERVING. GOD BLESS them for being so generous. It's freaken amazing. Flavors are very highlighted. Fish tastes fresh. The lemon citrus and the veggies are all fresh. Just so darn good!!! We just found our new local Mariscos spot in Covina! Service was excellent from the moment we walked in. I ordered the Torre de Mariscos. It was so good; the serving came with a lot of food, so I took the rest home. I also ordered a classic Paloma, which was okay. My boyfriend had the Aguachiles which came with a decent amount. He also had the Michelada, which he enjoyed on that hot day. The owner, Joel, stopped by our table to check that everything was up to par, and it was. The service was GREAT! Smiling faces, good vibes, and we were checked on a couple times during our visit. We ordered the Ensenada fish tacos, tostada de agua chiles, taquitos de pollo, Coctel de Camaron, and michis. Everything was delicious, loved the drinks and the fish tacos were very good! Every table had around 7 different salsas, plus we were provided with a house Chile de arbol salsa. The taquitos were four small 5" taquitos for $12, no guacamole provided, would not recommend ordering this. The tostada de agua chiles had a generous amount of avocado! We were charged a 'surge charge' fee of $2.18, there was a family of three, and two gentlemen who ordered drinks at the bar. Was surprised to see a 'surge' charge at small local spot like this, I was a little disappointed in that cause I can see myself returning but I hate hidden fees. Restaurant appears to be clean, there was no customers when we arrived but people started coming and going after we sat. Place seems to be new. Service was good and food was as well. They serve beer, they take credit cards and play Spanish music/music videos on one of their tv screens. My husband ordered their caldo mixto (shrimp, octopus, and fish) and I ordered two tostadas (one camarones and one aguachiles). Both of us agreed that our food was good and fresh. My husband did have to peel the shrimp in his caldo but the shrimps were big. My favorite was the aguachiles. But both tostadas were excellent. We'll be back. read more

Very disappointed. Will not be coming back. Lady was rude through out our whole experience. All she did was take our order, dropped off our food and never came back. Had to ask the other server for a refill of chips and salsa and my son's order of chicken nuggets that she forgot to put in. She then argued saying we never ordered them which I responded "it's okay, if you didn't hear him (my husband) " and she proceeded with her stank attitude. First time here. Good size portions for the ceviche tostadas. I asked what were the top selling and the cashier said pescado, camaron, and aguachiles. I ordered two of the three (camaron, and aguachiles) and they did not disappoint. They were loaded with ceviche and tasty. Love their Taco Tuesday shrimp dorados! Nice change from the typical street taco meat selections other places offer.

The Shrimp Cóctel, tostada Campechana and the tacos de camarón dorado are always amazing! I drive 40 min to pick up if I don't feel like paying DoorDash. I recommend order to go. Service you can tell it sucks but please give the food a chance. Order online so you don't have to deal with the people there and just pick up an enjoy. 10/10 read more

My husband and I found this place when we were waiting for our tires to get installed at nearby tire shop. Great service and great mariscos ! On the house chips and salsa are so fresh and delicious. I have tried their fried octopus appetizer, ceviche and tacos. I particularly love their rice ! We don't come this way but whenever we have our tire services. It has become a tradition !
