At first, looking at the combo basket, I thought it might not be enough for me for a filling dinner entree. But the more I dived in and the more the great flavors really started to settle in my stomach, the more full I got. That was probably some of the best fried shrimp I've ever had--only I had three. I really should have gone all-shrimp as my option. The fish was good--flaky, funky, and super tender--but that shrimp really was the star of the production. The ambiance was very laidback and peaceful. It was like taking a relaxing lunch at the harbor somewhere. And the staff couldn't have been nicer. I didn't feel rushed or a bother at all. It was a very good place filled with good people to have a meal in. But next time I might try the actual whole fish dishes as I saw on the menu. It's just too bad they don't have trout as a whole fish choice. I bet they'd make a masterpiece out of that beauty. Directly upon entering, it seemed like a cafe mixed with a causal sports bar and plenty of indoor seating compared to the couple of seated located outside. It wasn't very crowded with only a few other patrons when we arrived early in the dinner hours, but the waitress was very friendly and got a menu to us right away to look at - we were asked if we wanted to dine in or take it to go. We ended up sitting down to dine in, while the folks before us grabbed some drinks from the cafe counter. We ordered a variety of food including the chips and salsa, fish tacos, half a dozen oysters as well as a grilled salmon entree which was by far my favorite. The oysters and the fish taco were also very yummy as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Even the restroom was one of the cleaner ones, very well light and clean. Came here to try the red snapper but it looks like they don't have it due to being out of season. Opted to try one shrimp and one fish taco. To my surprise they were sooo delicious, the batter was perfectly airy and crisp the oasis sauce was a great complement to the batter flavor. The aguachile was also very delicious. This place is an absolutely a gem! I ended up checking it out because of the coffee and pastries sign on the window and was blown away by all their options for coffee and flavors! They even have matcha with different flavors you can try. It's such great coffee! I recently discovered the bagel and sandwiches menu and tried their bagels and jalapeños cream cheese and I am hooked!!! I always forget to ask the lady who works here for her name but she is truly beautiful and kind person! She's so wonderful and helpful! Her recommendations are solid! First time visiting on a hot Saturday and while I wish their A/C was colder the Fat and fresh oysters made up for it. We also ordered AquaChiles which were fresh and tasty, especially the slightly spicy sauce they were covered in. It's a disappointment and a shame that I had to leave a review such as this one. When first walking in I was so impressed. The smell alone had me impressed and intrigued. The customer service was even good. However after we put in our orders thats where things changed. We ordered a couple different items. But when it came time to my order it was never brought out, and why is that? It was never put in by the server. She states that I never ordered it yet how is it that everyone had a meal but me? Common sense would or should have told her why isn't this person ordering a meal like everyone else in the party. Even the baby was ordered an item. She should have clarified if I wanted anything, its a business right? I remember specifically, our server asked me what sides I wanted. I asked her about the sides and what kind of beans they were serving . I even told her what I wanted and then she asked another person who wanted the same exact item that I wanted and asked them what sides they wanted. For some reason she forgot to write it down. After they brought all the food and I asked if my dish was still being prepared, they looked at me as jf I was crazy. She tried to say we can put it in now, but it took them 30 min just to bring out the first orders, so to wait 30 min while everyone else ate was just not the way I wanted to first experience this restaurant. What makes matters worse, is she possibly rushed and forgot to take my order because she sat down to eat her own food and didn't even care to check if everyone needed anything else or how was the food or if anyone needed any refills. She definitely needs new customer service or how to be a server. Definitely a lasting and worst first impression. I ordered four battered fish tacos on Friday evening in August 2024, which cost $20 ($5 per taco). Unfortunately, the tacos were quite small, especially when compared to Taco Nazo, and the taste didn't quite meet my expectations. I don't think I'll be returning. In hindsight, I probably should have taken a short trip to Señor Baja or Alfredo's Mexican Food for something more affordable and flavorful. Even a $10 box from Taco Bell with more food and a refillable drink right down the street might have been a better choice. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly. read more

Portions are plenty and the price is very reasonable. On my visit, I tried their 7 Seas soup. It was great! Lots of fresh seafood in a large bowl of steamy broth! The seafood was cooked just right. I took my time on this savory soup and I highly recommend this entree. Also, the Fish Taco Plate was superb with the fish fried to a perfect crisp! Along with the tacos, the plate is paired with refried beans and rice pilaf. This entree was really tasty. This is a great place to eat at any time. I always see people enjoying their food and drink, at Oasis when ever my husband and I go to the Establishment accross the street. My hubby doesn't like sea food unless it's Fish & Chips :-). There was a parking space right in front - the only one as the rest of the block was busy. The Universe was calling me ..."eat fish ... eat fish....try oasis". Well, at least that's what i heard lol . I opted to sit inside because it was kinda of warm outside. AND, i could here a little UB40 playing from inside. This gal loves some reggae I was greeted instantly and asked to sit wherever i like. Lots of hand sanitizer, my temperature was checked, and plenty of covid-19 compliance (thank you). They had a Taco Tuesday special ... yussss I decided to order the special ... it was under $9 for three generous fish tacos (check out my pic), Uh, yeah .. see you next Tuesday Oasis Fisheria I also ordered a breaded fish taco as the waitress said it may be similar to Fish and Chips. The salmon was fishy and dry, I couldn't mask the taste despite squeezing a few lemon wedges. It came with rice and salad. I only ate a few bites of the fish, some of the rice and most of the salad.
