I've been to several computer shops and none of them were as good as this place. I initially chose this place because the price is so much better than all the other places I inquired about. After coming here for the first time, I returned for upgrades and other computer issues several times, and Mickey always does an amazing job. His prices are super reasonable, and he even does some extras for free! I used to live close by, but now that I moved, I am still going to him even though it takes one hour drive. The Windows system was failing on my laptop. Mickey determined the hard drive was failing which corrupted Windows. He replaced it with a larger hard drive and repaired Windows. I gotta give Mickey credit for helping me figure out the problem with my PC. It's about 9PM on a Tuesday and I'm getting ready to log on to do a little late night gaming and my PC freezes and shuts off. I figure it was just my surge protector doing it's job, but I get this weird smell coming from my case. I investigate and I determined it was my graphics card taking a shit. I check the fans and sure enough one of the fans has gone out. I can smell something wrong with the card so I buy a new graphics card the next day which makes it Wednesday. I go ahead and install it and boot up my computer. This should fix it right up, right? Hell no, I boot it up and it immediately shuts off again. This time the computer doesn't turn on. Keep in mind that I am not that great with gaming computers as I had a friend help me with my current build. It's now Thursday morning and I take my computer to Mickey. I explain what happened. He takes my rig, plops it on his counter and begins to do his magic. He then hooks it up to some magic device and he says "Your power supply is defective". This took 3 minutes. He verifies it with another power supply, and boom he was right. I say thank you expecting to pay the man for his services, but he says no, there is no charge. Mickey, you are the man. Micky is incredible. I contacted him regarding a DC jack that I thought was damaged on my laptop. Without hesitation he ordered the part (even before I brought in my laptop) so that he would be able to repair it the same day I brought it in.... Fast Forward 3 days later. I bring in my laptop only to find that it was NOT my DC jack but actually my AC adapter. He double checked my DC Jack and confirmed that it was still is good condition and sent me off my way. He could've easily told me that the DC Jack also needed to be replaced, but he was honest and completely overly helpful. All in all, he didn't get the job to work on my laptop because it didnt need it, but he definitely earned a long-term customer that will be returning for any computer services needed. read more

great service! I was doing a build for the first time myself and something just wasnt working right when I booted up. I had no idea and I was insanely frustrated! That day I took it in and it ended up being a dongl my motherboard didnt come with. I cannot remember the man who helped me but he truly saved my day. Not a bad place. I needed a power supply for a legacy machine. From the outside this looked like a build your own PC type of shop, so I figured they would have what I need. These small shops tend to be less expensive than going to a Staples or Office Depot for replacement PC parts. The gentleman that helped me was cool. He offered to install the part for me free of charge. I did decline since it would not really take long for me to do it myself. It was nice of him to offer though. read more

I just moved to Corona from Irvine and had no idea where to take my computer for simple repairs. My computer had over 100 viruses on it and needed to be cleaned. The man who helped me was really nice and honest, surprisingly, he even matched the price I was going to pay at the shop up the street (they were closed for lunch). He cleaned my computer, put a temporary free anti-virus on it, and even told me about the free anti-virus offer from my cable/internet provider. My MacBook decided to act up (Sunday night), and I ended up accidentally deleting my entire startup system. Amidst this COVID-19 crisis, all my classes are online and I could not attend class/ submit anything with out it. I read through every Apple Support I possibly could but it was no help. I considered taking it to Apple, but they were closed so I would have to ship it in a wait for who knows how long. Hopped on to yelp and found Alpha Computers. I messaged the owner, Micky, and he said come in for a free diagnostic. I kind of knew what was wrong so I told him what had happened. He asked me a few questions, and said it would take him about a day to fix. Took my MacBook in the next day as soon as he opened and he fixed it with in about 3 hours!Unfortunately, I lost everything I had on it, but it was no big deal because I didn't have extremely important things like pictures on there, and most of my documents were already backed up on google drive. 10/10 would recommend getting your computers fixed here! He also changed out the wire to get the camera up and running. Parts took a little time to get to him (not his fault) but he stayed in contact which was nice. My wife's all-in-one Dell computer would only show a blue screen upon startup. I tried everything online to resolve the issue with no success. I took her computer into Alpha where Micky did a free diagnostic. He determined that its hardware was working correctly but the windows software had become corrupted. He then quoted what I believed was a very reasonable price to correct the issues . He reloaded the windows program and saved all of her forms, pictures and data. When I brought it home there was a major problem with Microsoft Edge. I took it back and he determined that the Microsoft Edge had not reloaded properly. He reloaded Microsoft Edge completed all windows updates and reinstalled my virus protection at no extra charge. He was friendly, professional and a pleasure to deal with.
