She added oil at the end and gave me a quick little hand massage to rub it in, which was nice. I only wish she would have added glue to the underside of my nails since it was a fill. My old place always did that and it really helped them stay on nicely. My thumb started separating within a couple days and that would've solved it. I added glue and it's fine now a week out. Very disappointed. Total wast of time. Wanted to treat myself to a relaxing mani pedi in my birthday. I requested powder dip for fingers and gell for toes. Advised them I was having a difficult time hearing them due to the fact that I am hearing impaired. I could not understand what they were asking me. Finger nails were so thick, So sloppy. Gel polish is clumped snd bubbling from inconsistent application. Shape was completely lopsided. I'm pretty easy going but my bails had to be cut off two days later as one slip due to bad shaping. Just moved to the area. Went to another salon down in Folsom and wasn't very impressed by them as they didn't have good nail color choices and the polish was a little sloppy. Saw the reviews for Nina's which is much closer to my house and thought I'd give it a try today. Very happy that I did. DO NOT COME HERE I went here a couple days ago and I had a pattern I wanted to do so I showed the lady before we even got started and she said yeah that's fine i can do it. As she is putting on the acrylics I said I don't want it super long can I have it a bit shorter and she says no. Like straight up says no. So I was like um ok so then I ask for the nails more rounded. She says no again. I was very confused. I'm paying this woman to do my nails how I want and she says no. Then we get to the pattern. I pull out my phone and show her the same photo I did at the beginning and she say put it away. EXCUSE ME? I said this is the pattern I want and she's says well I might not have the colours so I picked out two colours and told her how I wanted the pattern to be on my nails. Staff is very friendly. I had a pedicure with massage, (Kimberly) the most expensive option and it was worth every penny. Relaxing and my skin after was very soft. The nail polish looked amazing even though I don't have the prettiest toes or nails. I returned the next day for a manicure. I use the dip powder and they turned out very nice and to my liking. Some nail techs make the nail very thick and it is obvious And unnatural appearing. Not with (Hannah) at Nina's. My nails are just how I like them. And Nina was very friendly.
