When you order eggs with sausage you expect breakfast sausage especially on a Sunday morning at 10:45 am! My biggest concern was the wait time. Despite the busy atmosphere, it took nearly an hour and a half for our meals to arrive. That's quite unacceptable for a small establishment unless there's a valid reason. After reading several other reviews, it seems this is a recurring issue. Unfortunately, I don't plan on returning. The two stars are for the large pancake and the friendly waitress. The blueberry pancakes had blueberries IN the pancakes and not a compote spread on top of plain pancakes as other pancakes house do. Authentic! Im told their specialty there is soups and homemade desserts, so I'll be back to try more of the menu. It's a cash only place, but there's an ATM inside, so no worries. I enjoyed our visit.

The place is usually pretty busy on Sunday morning. Decent affordable diner food. Breakfasts are usually generous and pretty. Service can be slow for large groups. Today, I got the meatloaf w/ potato side and beets. The roasted meatloaf had that standard tender texture and ketchup glaze with a standard brown gravy. Pretty affordable price point and I probably won't eat much else today. Beets were a healthy sidekick for this meal.

The roast beef platter with fries is a classic and a must have. It's so perfect.
