If you're reading this review I suggest you refer to my initial 1 star review from 4 weeks ago, but in summary, in 4 months my partner and I's vehicle has had 4 service issues. The 4th time we brought it in was 9 WEEKS ago. Day 1 we knew what the issue was. It needed a new turbo. We coded it out, the P0299 code, did research and had it checked. In the first 4 weeks no one did anything to it but drive it around aimlessly. No communication, ever, unless it was us calling several times asking them for information. I wrote and initial google review because we were at a loss and no one, and I mean no one, would help us. The owner responds to everything on google so I figured that was my best shot to get someone's attention. She responded within hours (yet the employees can't respond within a week). All she did was apologize and pass us off to yet another person- Emilie, who through this 9 week process has been the only person to help us, respond to us and listen to us. Every single person we worked with except for her has been nothing less than useless. But, this was 4 weeks ago, and here I am writing this review 4 weeks later, if that tells you about progress. She tried to find us a new and safe car instead of fixing the lemon of a car they sold us, but ultimately it was a waste of time as we cannot afford a new vehicle nor did we want to do that from the get go. We expressed that we just wanted our car fixed, and at this point Alpine still hadn't done jack s*** to our car. Week 7 Emilie gets it sent to a ford tech in pueblo (which we asked them to do week 2), the ford tech confirmed it needed a new turbo... what we knew day one we get confirmed end of week 7... The original cost was $3500, but suddenly it's $4,000, not sure how as it wasn't explained to us. We refused to pay for labor as no labor had been done in weeks as it sat there untouched. Unacceptable. We argued and argued until they agreed that we just had to pay for the part which was $1500. Still ridiculous considering we knew this was the issue was day 1 and it took this long. Also this location isn't even who officially diagnosed and fixed the car. If you read my initial review you'll see my partner is a part time uber driver, so we lost 9 weeks of income for something that shouldn't have been longer than 2 weeks. It took them 7 weeks and a TON of arguing and pushing to get the car touched. 9 weeks later we finally got the car back a few days ago almost completely empty of gas. This has been the absolute worst experience we have both had with any type of business. It caused stress, frustration, a s*** ton of money lost. This did not need to happen. This entire situation could have been avoided if the people at Alpine would have just done their damn jobs in the first place. No one communicates, no one cares about you as a customer. We don't even know if the car is 100% fixed as like stated before, this was the 4th occasion a service issue arose, so we will see if the car runs how it should now. If not, we will 100% be getting a lawyer involved. I have details on details of just how messy and unprofessional this situation has been. Aside from Emilie, I couldn't recommend strongly enough not to go to this business. Feel free to read the other yelp reviews too as it seems they do this to many customers. They absolutely screwed around with us for 9 weeks. Please save yourself the agony of wasted time and money and don't come here. read more
