Example of Toyota vehicles they service screenshot from their website. The T100 & Previa have been out of production over 20 years

Wouldn't even do an oil change on my 20+ year old Toyota because they told me they don't work on older vehicles Their website features a 30 year old Toyota on the banner, and even specifies they work on vehicles that have not been in production for over 20 years

Excellent service on my 2013 Lexus. Very timely appointment and work completion. Would recommend to everyone with a Toyota/Lexus model.

    How are the prices?

I think there prices are very reasonable - much better than a dealership service department.

Liahm's helped me with some $$$ suspension work in the past. However, 3.5 months after offering to…read morereimburse me for a Steering Angle sensor recalibration (required after suspension work), he's ghosted me and failed to pay me back. Disappointed, as I was excited to find a seemingly reliable and affordable shop.

I really liked him, appreciated his work. I hired him to…read morereplace the power steering pump, the cost was absolutely cheaper than other places especially because I bought the part my own. After the work done, the car felt pretty much same or sometimes even worse, for example the handle gets really stiff to turn. He says that it's very normal process because the air has to be bleed out. Weeks have passed with same issue so he came to check the car again and said there's power steering pump rack problem. The rack is usually $1000-2000. Personally didn't really think it would be the rack problem with several reasons and decided to take the car to bigger auto shop. After diagnosis, I was told that the power steering pump is failed because when it was replaced, the flush should've be done but since he skipped it, now debris in fluid damaged not only the whole new pump but also hose and reservoir. Of course as car owner, I was definitely frustrated with the fact that now I have to pay extra more money than before when I thought I could save money because of how mechanic guy has done. I personally had to pay new power steering pump+labor fee but now I have to pay another new power steering pump+hose+reservoir+another labor fee. I will accept the fact that I was asking money back at first because.... who wouldn't? It might not be making sense to ask money back for damaging the new power steering pump by how poorly worked done but I thought the labor fee at least would've been made sense. Instead of taking accountability, he would be defend and saying the book he learned from says that power steering pump replacement is totally okay without the flush and had no problem with all other cars or sending me the google search screenshots. Of course the warranty wouldn't cover anything of things even if he damaged the new part and extra parts of car. Currently I wanted to see more opinions than one or two so took the car to another new auto shop, they also agreed that power steering pump is failed and with high possibility from how it was worked done. Surprisingly the rack itself doesn't look like having a problem, different than what this guy said. People at auto shop also say that flush is very necessary for the pump replacement, especially when the car is old. As I personally said to him, people can always make mistakes but important thing is how to handle. I got an apology eventually. But I wasted money. The other thing, he advised me to replace rear break pads soon. I went to check the break pad recently, all my break pads are not needed to replace due to adequate thickness. I would say he is a capable man to do some works on cars but I can't say he would be with more complicated jobs.

Accessed their web site and saw that they were promoting a 'Get to know us' offer for 1st time…read moreusers. It was a good offer so we decided to try it. Clicked on Scheduling and chose a 7:45 am appointment for Monday to get an oil change. Got an email that stated someone would call us or email us. Never received an email, nor got a call. Come Monday morning - tried calling to verify the appointment, but no one answered the phone. Decided to go there and arrived at 7:30 am (15 minutes before supposedly scheduled appointment). They looked for the appointment and didn't see any. That's when one of the service advisors asked - "When did you schedule the appointment". I stated ... Sunday evening. That's when he replied that scheduling doesn't work on the weekends. I was surprised and stated ... Well it seemed to have taken the appointment and generated a response email. He said no and that no entry would have been submitted. Well I went ahead and said I'd like to get an oil change anyway. They stated that it would take a while and offered a Lyft ride back to my house. That was at 7:45 am on Monday. I got a text message at 4:00 pm (almost 9 hours later), that my vehicle was ready. Now I understand that some things can take a while, even most of the day. I don't believe oil changes fit into a 9 hour category. It seems to me that since their scheduling app failed to make the appointment, that even though they were willing to take my vehicle in, they seemed to have put it at the end of the queue. The reason for the 3 stars is that all of the people were very nice and somewhat apologetic. What would have been nicer was to squeeze my vehicle in sooner rather than the end of the day based on a web design problem that their site has and was no fault of mine. Not a very good first impression.

Will helped me every step of the way--he was knowledgeable, transparent, and took the time to explain my options so I felt comfortable with the decision. The communication throughout everything was excellent, and I really appreciated how helpful and honest Will was. Overall, I'm very pleased with the service and the experience. I'll definitely be coming back to Christian Brothers Automotive for any future automotive needs. Highly recommend! -Shaffer

I brought my car in for a stalling issue. The initial diagnosis cost $775 to replace a battery…read morecable and add a ground screw, which felt very high. Afterward, I was told the car had multiple oil and coolant leaks and was quoted an additional $3,500 for repairs. On a car worth about $4,000, this didn't make financial sense. When I declined the extensive repairs, there was no discussion of smaller, interim solutions or things I could try myself; the only suggestion was financing the full amount. The immediate next step was being asked to retrieve my vehicle. The shop was extremely busy, and I left with the impression that they prioritize large, high-cost jobs. Disappointed with the experience and lack of flexible solutions, I will not be returning. Update to my previous review: It's been two weeks since I picked up my vehicle, and I have not observed any oil on my driveway. This seems inconsistent with what I was told about the severity of the oil leak issue during my visit. I have checked the oil level multiple times and it appears to remain at the same level. After posting my initial review, I received several phone calls from the shop owner requesting that I modify my review. I eventually asked that these calls stop. Service details: I paid $180 for initial diagnostics, during which I was told there was an 80% probability that the problem was my battery cables. I then paid $235.19 for new battery cables, but it did not resolve the issue. A subsequent diagnosis costing $359.98 identified a bad ground wire, which was then repaired by tapping in a new wire. Additional observations from my service experience: When I collected my vehicle, I noticed what appeared to be a black, grease-like substance on the exterior door handle that was not present when I dropped it off. I also discovered that the front emblem was no longer attached to my vehicle. When I inquired about this inside the shop, staff located the emblem and handed it to me and told me it fell off when they closed the hood. I check my fluids every month, this has never happened to me. There was no offer to repair the damage.
