    Chocolate Chip Cannoli
    Trina D.

My sister and my friend Cristen took me to the Alpine for dinner. Honestly some of the best food I've ever eaten. For real !!! I had calamari, which I was SURE I wasn't gonna like, The only thing wrong with it was that I wanted more!! I ordered the French Onion Soup, the Onion Soup bowl and Coconut Shrimp . I saved the sauce in a little container so I could dip my veggies into it!!! I've been wanting to try the Chocolate Chip Cannoli for YEARS, and they were absolutely amazing !!

My second time here. Absolutely love this place. Atmosphere is very nostalgic and the bar is great. Bartender was super cool. Food is amazing and the portions are huge. Service is incredible. Highly recommend.

The food is some of the best I have ever had! The NY strip and scallops are to die for! The service was fast and friendly. And the rustic feel of the place is true Adirondacks! I will most certainly be returning!

Smack dab in the middle of nowhere. Open Thursday through Sunday and Wednesday's in July and August. You will be pleasantly surprised on how well the food is cooked. Lots of good comfort foods, excellent seafood and Generous cuts steaks. This trip I started with a buffalo shrimp appetizer, salad with homemade horseradish dressing and a broiled seafood player that had large portions of fish, shrimp, scallops and clams. The rest of my table had a pork schnitzel and steaks. Give it a try

Upon walking in the host and servers were super nice and we were seated promptly. The space itself is super nice! Not crowded at all but definitely means you should make a reservation as they are super popular! Food was amazing! DO NOT MISS THE ROLLS! I'd come back just for the rolls, they were so soft, fluffy, and light with the perfect flaky salt on top to balance with the whipped honey butter. Delicious! Everything else was also great, the hanger steak is also tender and loved the hash that came with it and the crab spaghetti had ample crab meat in it. Presentation was gorgeous. Love the seasonal menus and you really can't go wrong with anything here. We skipped out on dessert but I'm sure there's great options too. Highly recommend and hope to be back!

What we ordered: -Berry cosmo 5/5, sweet but strong. -House made Parker house rolls: 5/5, these are a MUST. Because we KNOW they are going to have a memorable experience, from the hostess, the wait staff, the bar mixologists, to the OUTSTANDING food!! And in true Lorenzo Lanzi tradition... while enjoying one of the most memorable, mouthwatering meals we have ever had the pleasure of having, we are always greeted by a member of the Lanzi family in a way that makes each and every person in our party feel like a close friend. We were even married at Sport Island Pub in 2009. In the summer, every time we entertain guests on our boat, the destination is Lanzi's or Sport Island Pub. And Most notable.... For the past 2 years, (and hopefully many more to come), we have entertained family at Lanzi's for their absolutely amazing Thanksgiving Day spread. OMG!! Not a huge fan of turkey, I can say that the prime rib was most definitely the star of the show!! The horseradish sauce was to die for. It was so nice to look around our table and see everyone enjoying the turkey, prime rib, ham, and all the many sides... then the deserts!! . The best part was... I actually got to sit down with my family and enjoy dinner and not have to wait on everyone (then the dreaded dishes). Love Love Love the Lanzi's and all that they put into their business ventures.

We arrived at opening on a Thursday evening and had the place to ourselves. The table we were sat at overlooking the gardens was gorgeous. The service was a little awkward as the server was training someone who was new, but they were very friendly and accommodating. We started with some bourbon cocktails that were just alright. I would say, they don't have the best cocktails. I ordered a gin dirty martini with stuffed olives and I think they just gave me straight gin in a glass with olives. Maybe stick to wine or beer! We were greeted with some nice fresh bread and we then ordered the very popular candied bacon. It was very thick, sweet and savory. Worth trying for sure, I enjoyed it. For dinner we opted for the 3 pound cowboy to share. I had asked what came with the steaks and they said smashed potatoes and green beans, and hyped up the smashed. When served, we got French fries, so this was just a miscommunication because I guess the special came with fries. I asked for a side of potatoes as well cause at this point I wanted to try them. The steak was gorgeous and perfectly cooked, and massive. We shared and had plenty of leftovers. Overall, I would suggest checking this place out. I think some miscommunication may have effected my experience, but the food and ambiance makes this a great destination for a romantic dinner.

When our waiter came to take our drink orders, I asked if the specialty lattes that were available at Mrs. London's Bakery, which is attached to the restaurant, and I was told no. I honestly thought the two businesses were affiliated and didn't understand why that was the case because you could order a pastry basket for the table. I think having specialty drinks from Mrs. London's would really elevate their brunch experience. Just my two cents! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. I tried the asparagus and mushroom omelet, which came with home fries, and really enjoyed it. I definitely recommend making reservations if you're visiting on a Saturday or Sunday, and don't forget to grab some pastries to go from Mrs. London's on your way out!
