Do not trust Connor!!! This man lacks integrity & took advantage of my situation. I told him I was already in a contract with Romex. He kept pushing. I told him I lost my niece a few days ago. He said I didn't have to worry. They would off pay me breaking the contract with Romex. I will take responsibility for not sticking to my no. I was not emotionally nor in the right headspace. I just wanted him gone to I signed up. Romex informed me that my contract was never canceled. They took me to collections because I wasn't going to pay. When I notified the company I spoke with Casey. He advised me to pay my bill with Romex. He told me Connor was my sales rep & he was unable to give me Connor phone number. Based on my experience with their door to door rep, I would never use this business. After he stated his reason for coming to the door, I told him we already had a contract with a pest service that we were satisfied with and weren't interested in changing. Thanked him for coming. Good bye. He continued to push and push and made no effort to leave my porch/front door. He then told me how my neighbor chose them and switched from the service we had. (I called my neighbor and he DID NOT) I repeated my answer a few more times. He made me feel very uncomfortable. As he left, I watched him on Ring and he went down our driveway away from the street. Well, he came back yesterday. I reminded him he was here 2 days ago and I still wasn't interested. He then started asking me questions which I told him were none of his business. He kept pushing and I told him if he wasn't off my property in 2 minutes I was calling the police. I did end up calling the police and filing a complaint. I'm in sales and you can tell so much about a business from their sales people. This business needs to reevaluate their sales processes. read more

Alta Pest Control was here filling up the insulation in the attic which has a tight area because of low clearance and our hvac unit and ductwork. In the process of that, the hvac unit stop blowing cold air, the technicians were good about stating the process to file a damage complaint; however once the damage complaint was submitted and accepted by the office that's where the customer service stopped. Without any further investigation or information they assumed no liability and closed the case out. Also because I have no desire to continue my monthly service contract, I only have a one year warranty on the work that was just completed for $8500 instead of our lifetime in the house. This is completely unacceptable customer service, dependability, reliability, and integrity. I will tell everyone I know not to use Alta Pest Control for any service ever! read more

Horrible experience with this company. They signed me into a yearly contract, saying they would provide a yearly service. Only to show up every 2-3 months. (September- October, they shut down for winter). At least that's what they said. I never had anyone show up when scheduled, double-checking security cameras, until I called to complain. Even so, they did a terrible job the 1-2 times I saw them here in a year. Missing ant piles completely, even when I pointed out the locations. When I asked to disconnect, they charged a $350 fee on top of what I had already paid them, 29.99 a month. I'm now out $710 for a job I never felt was done in the first place. Beware! SOUTHLAKE, TX: I was a client for 3 years. In all that time, the company never performed as promised. When I signed up, the sales rep told me my house would be "no problem" but during the ensuing years, it never happened once. I spoke to multiple agents and managers, being promised multiple times that our issues (that we have a large 3 story house) would be addressed. We recently cancelled our contract. When the account maintenance manager spoke to me, he admitted they never should have told me they could handle our property. No mention of refunding anything for non-performance of contract. This company doesn't need to be in this business. Their logistics are in 4 hour increments. So, the customer waits on them and they can't give you a set time. The last time they came to take care of an ant problem they sprayed where I had the specific problem and two weeks later they were back. They talk a good talk at the beginning but that's about it. They are very apologetic but no results. Beware when doing business with this company. read more

My parents recently hired Alta pest control to take care of the home with a preventative quarterly plan. When they got to the property the technician I can't remember his name explained the whole process thoroughly, and completed the job in about 20-30 minutes, the de webbing and de nesting was exceptional as well as the spray I haven't seen any bugs recently. I would recommend them to my neighbors and family because they do great work. read more

This was the absolute worst experience imaginable. Poor customer service and poor product. My service began on 4/23/25. Alta agreed to treat my home for Spiders, Mosquitos, and Wasps Specifically. I informed Alta that my 6 year old son is allergic to mosquitos specifically and was promised they would take care of my property and if I had any issues in between visits I could call and they would be right out to retreat my home. After the first visit, there was no change and it seemed whatever they did made these critters come out more. I called and informed Alto of the situation and not only did the schedule me 10 days out for my retreatment, but they charged me the monthly premium again before coming out. I mentioned this and there was not refund or change event though the critters got worse. The second treatment took place and later that day spiders and mosquitos continued to pour out as if nothing happened. So I call again and emphasize again the importance of this treatment as my son is allergic to mosquitos. Again, Alta schedules me a week out for another "free" retreatment and once again a few days later I see another charge on my account. Now, we are at 6 weeks of service and 3 charges and no results!! As a matter of fact things continue to get worse. Massive spider webs, wasps and mosquitos everywhere. Another pest control company visits my home after this last Alta treatment as they were in the neighborhood. I allow them to walk the property and their feedback was eye opening. The number of mosquitos they encountered as well as spider webs and wasps nests they pointed out was embarrassing for me to say I paid this company twice. After calling to cancel my service due to no results, Alta was completely non caring about my 6 year old son whos was destroyed over Fathers Day weekend by mosquitos, they then tell me I must pay an additional $400 to end my contract even thought the service and results they promised were not attained. I own a business in the customer service industy and never would I take advantage of a client by demanding they pay for a service I did not provide. If you are in the DFW area, I highly recommend that you DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. THEY WILL ROB YOU THEN THREATEN TO SEND YOU TO COLLECTIONS W/O a care. I asked to speak to the Manager on a Tuesday morning and was told the Manager was not in today. THIS WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND ALTA PEST CONTROL YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED. read more

Alta is the only company who consistently had the billing wrong, techs who came to complete the service were rude (some not all) AND we will had bugs while undergoing their service.
