    Spaghetti AOP
    Anthony C.

Food was delicious, interior of the restaurant was nice, and our server Jill was awesome! Ordered the chicken parm, which came with choice of pasta and was a very good portion for one person. I also order the Spaghetti AOP because I wanted to stuff my face with pasta, and wife order the Penna All Vodka which both were good. Our server Jill was very friendly, helped us with questions on the menu, and really on top of everything. The restaurant is located in the Fox Tower, so it's perfect if you are staying there, but somewhat of a walk if you are at the Grand Pequot Tower - still worth it overall and I would definitely go back.

Mushroom mezzaluna was a highlight of the menu

After waiting for awhile to be seated, we enjoyed anything with mushrooms. Whether it was the mezzaluna or stuffed mushrooms, you couldn't go wrong except for the congealed cheese on top. The meatballs were too tough, but the sauce was delicious. The mussels and clams were up to par and harder to screw up with with a white sauce and heirloom tomatoes. Service was helpful and friendly. That was the main saving grace aside from those two highlights on the menu.

Was there for dinner last night with 3 others and we enjoyed it very much. We had cocktails. Bourbons on the rocks and one of us had a mixed drink. The pours were generous and of course pricey...what's not at the casino? We ordered garlic bread which was a thick rustic bread that seemed to be grilled. Nice crust on bottom. Comes with marinara sauce. Calimari cooked perfectly so it was nice and tender. All 4 of us were in the mood for chicken parm which was served with a side of penne. It was a very large portion of chicken, cooked well, crispy and just enough sauce and cheese. We all enjoyed our meals. The waitstaff was friendly and efficient the ambiance was cool. Kinda dark in our corner had to use the flashlight on the phone to read menu. Lol

Last minute dinner plans at Foxwoods. Made a reservation got right in no waiting. Busy night since the EMS show was there. Our food was delicious, calamari light and crispy, burratta wash nice and fresh. The mushroom ravioli we phenomenal totally would get them again. We all did t have any food issues. The atmosphere was fun it was loud but not unbearable. Tables have plenty of room for 6+ people. I'd give the rating 5 stars but our waitress was ehhh she didn't have much of a personality and was kind of rude. I'd go back and make sure we didn't have the same server.

Terrible. My eggplant parm tasted like a frozen dinner.... Only it was $28. Go anywhere else.

There is large tree in the center of the space that immediately makes you feel at ease, as if entering the garden at an Italian villa. The lighting is muted and the interior is tastefully modern with leather chairs and white tablecloths. Our server Corina was very friendly and welcoming, answering our questions and making us feel at ease there. They have a nice selection of wines by the glass as well as bottles. We had Mascarelli montepulciano and Whispering Angel rose, both very good. I also had a Bourbon Peach Smash, a peach-y version of an old-fashioned that was tasty and refreshing. We started with burrata - amazingly fresh creamy mozzarella served with crostini, "cherry bomb" tomatoes and aged balsamic. Great way to start the meal! For our mains, we had chicken parmesan (extremely fresh and tender chicken & mozzarella with a hearty red sauce) ordered with a side of broccolini and their pork chop (grilled, red chimi, fingerling potatoes) - a thick and tender chop that was one of the best I've ever had, and the red chimi added a delightful little zing to it. For dessert, we ordered the affogato (wonderful vanilla gelato drowned with expresso at the table) - wonderfully decadent and delicious.

The complimentary Parmesan cheese they serve you in so darn good, I wanted to eat the whole plate. I opted for their Malfaldine Pasta and it didn't disappoint. However, after trying some of the rigatoni pasta I would definitely order that next time! It was so flavorful and the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. The only miss for us were the mussels; on the fishy side and not edible for us. For dessert you must get the affogato!

The waiter Charlie had to come to our table a few times because we were distracted with cheerful conversations. Nevertheless, he was pleasant the entire time. We settled for Hawaiian pizza, two chicken Parmesan entres, and a Chicken Cacciatore Pizza. I will highlight that it was a lot of food. Chicken parm was perfectly crispy and great amount of sauce. However the winner and surprised for me was the Chicken Cacciatore Pizza. Wow it was like they really made a mini Chicken Cacciatore dish into a pizza. The flavors and ingredients were all there. The onions, peppers and mushrooms were still so crunchy but flavorful I was taken aback. I would have thoughts those veggies would have over cooked. I have been here many times and love their BBQ Pizza and Chicken Buffalo. I was so glad I tried something different this time. Here you will love the food and the people.
