A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. All the buttons on my suit jacket were still there. I don't know how they do it because other tailors will just cut the jacket from the wrist. I brought my dress in for tailoring end of March, the wedding was in June, and it was finished within a few weeks in April. I tried on the dress prior to tailoring and he carefully pinned and made measurements for the work he was going to do. I would honestly trust Mike with my life, he is so kind and gentle. And he KNOWS. Ladies, he KNOWS how to make you look good. He made recommendations for tailoring in certain areas such as adjusting the back to hug a little tighter, and also to shorten the straps (which I didn't even think was possible because the straps had beading on them - but he adjusted the straps to fit better and I couldn't even TELL that they had been adjusted). And the dress looked SO GOOD and was comfortable on the day of the wedding for 10+ hours and dancing. He also hemmed the train and kept the original hem, adjusted the slit a little higher AND kept the original hem on that as well. He added a bustle and did some other little adjustments. Everything he did totally snatched me up, he turned what was a mid-priced dress from David's Bridal into something that looked and fit like a way pricier one. I cannot recommend Mike's work enough.
