Altitude has a great indoor design for jumping fun. Much more than just trampoline runs, they have a climbing wall, dodge ball court, battle beam and more. It is not been open long, but they clearly are working to keep the place clean and well managed. *Updating: I continue to come back to Altitude because of what this place has to offer. Crying about socks? This is not the $5 Run-up-and-down-tramp-paths you find elsewhere in town. These are well-configured trampolines including some high performance trampolines in different sections. I keep seeing American Ninja guys working out here, validating the quality of the equipment. You need better traction here for your safety. The idea of wall-to-wall tramps is inherently dangerous. The staff works hard to maintain a safe environment , but sometimes people get hurt. This the mile-long waiver and the parental supervision of young children. Sure it isnt cheap, but it is paying for a very well-kept business. Sure, it gets busy. If that bothers you enough to drop low stars, then perhaps call ahead and check for long lines. Yes the little purple socks mandate is different from DirtyTrampRUs elsewhere and the slide off easily in foam pit, but I if safety and $2 keeps you from enjoying yourself, search Yelp for other places that meet your lower expectations. read more

This place is a joke. I called 5 times on various days over the span of 2 weeks, trying to get in touch with their events staff, as I was looking to book the whole building for a private event. Most days they just don't answer the phone, so I left a few messages on the machine. Never got a call back. The few times that somebody did answer, they told me Melissa was not there, and she handles all private events but she'd call me back. 2 weeks later and Melissa still apparently hasn't showed up to work, because I haven't been called back. It's just baffling to me how they can be so bad at responding to messages, when private events are probably the biggest money maker for them. I wonder if the owner of this place knows just how much money they're losing because of incompetent customer service. Best of luck, we'll take this big old party budget elsewhere. read more

This trampoline park is brand new (Summer 2016) and it's awesome. Obscenely expensive (plus you need special socks!) but it's brand new and sooooo fun. Lots of trampolines, dodge ball, foam pit, rock wall, basketball, balance beams, trapeze. Great place for a birthday party, too. We'll definitely be back. read more

It was clean, the staff was so nice and helpful and I love that there are staff members on the floor making sure everyone is following the rules. They have a wonderful selection of different areas to enjoy, including a trapeze over a foam pit, trampolines into foam pits, dodgeball, etc.. We go every now and then for a surprise for the kids. What I like is that it is enormous compared to other places like Jump Wild. I do wish there were more activities but the space would be limited then. The prices are insane just for an hour. That quickly adds up. For two kids, I quickly hit $50 for two hours and they shorted me 20 minutes on my time. I counted using my timer. Beware of that. The last time I visited, I paid for an hour and noticed it hadn't been an hour yet and instead only 45 minutes later when they announced my time was up. There's some sort of cut off where they round up. Thankfully they don't hunt you down if your color wrist band was announced. As far as drinks go, there's water, ICEEs, and various others. There's popcorn, candy, and you can order pizza as well. So basically, nothing really healthy other than a binding machine with healthier options. Only today did I notice the employees telling people to stay off the trampoline floor if they have drinks. I didn't see them do that before and we sat there with little snacks for my toddler and wasn't bothered. People still snuck in their drinks upstairs though. What's a little annoying is that inappropriate music will be playing and news is on every tv. I watched the news talk about a prostitute going to court, deaths, and other news. When kids were having their birthday parties or waiting for a parent downstairs, they were watching the TVs. It's better if they put sports on or maybe HGTV for the adults. Even classic cartoons would be better. But no. Here's this happy place but let's depress you with news. Oy. I do like that an employee played with my toddler since everyone his age left the dodgeball area or went home. The floors generally stay clean, the bathroom was pretty clean too, the teens working there are kind and really watch the place, food and drink options are plenty but the prices are crazy. It's not bad. My kiddo loved it. About an hour was all either of us could handle. Bathrooms were pretty dirty. Lots of options for kids to choose from and lots of space. Price is fair enough. A great place to take the kids to burn off some energy! Trampolines galore, a foam pit, arcade, and much more! My son didn't want to leave! I like that the staff was out there ensuring safety for the kiddos (one actually put ice on my son's foot). There was plenty of tables, great for parties and some comfy massage chairs for the parents. The only downfall is the price. It can be pretty expensive the more kids you have, plus the socks that you must buy to enter the play area. Otherwise, a great place to take the kids! read more

I wish I could say 2.5 stars but I'll round to 3 and that is because it was our first time going there my kids were very excited to jump on the trampolines we noticed that there were workers in each station who are mostly teenagers who are mostly occupied with talking amongst one another I would've like to see more professionalism and more people that were workers paying attention to the children that were there there was even a worker that had his girlfriend there the entire time and every time we come close to wherever their station was they'd be kissing I think that's very inappropriate and a workplace and maybe someone out to talk to this teenager about how to behave at work anyway there is little to no supervision inside the dodgeball area when my son walked into that area there were three brothers who were not playing dodgeball they were playing a game called let me get 1 foot away from your face and slam this ball into your head as hard as I can my son walked into that game and this kid kept hitting him in his face from 1 foot away as hard as he could there were no workers around and his parents weren't around either I had to have some words with this child after he got upset when my son did the same thing back to him that he kept doing to my son I would highly advise the staff to have people present in that area so children that do not know how to play dodgeball can be guidedAll of this could've easily been avoided had someone been doing their job I'm glad that I'm a parent that follows my children around places and not the parent that sits way in the corner on my laptop or phone not watching children but had I been one of those parents the situation could've got really ugly. The kids love this place so much we have to threaten and cajole my usually angelic nieces and nephews to leave even after several hours of fun. The foam pits are the boys' favorite whilst my niece loves the trampolines. If you can plan ahead do yourself a favor and get online at altitudeaustin.com to fill out the required waiver and subscribe to their email list to get coupons before you go. There could be more staff to watch out for safety at this price point and there could be more activities geared towards adults. Also, the restrooms could be maintained more frequently and there could be more water fountains since they won't let you bring in outside drinks. There are definitely some management issues keeping this place from better reviews, but the children rarely notice... unless one gets mowed down by a running teen. read more

I really like this place and willing to make the drive from Dripping Springs. However 1 big complaint is that there are no electrical outlets for the parents to plug their personal devices into. When we come to places like this, it is my time to catch up on emails and other online activities, and it is the kids time to play. I appreciate the wifi, but if you could add multiple power outlets along the black wall where the picnic tables are, I think parents would be much happier and would stay longer! This very expensive compared with other similar businesses, and the requirement that you purchase their socks is a complete scam. There's no way these are any safer than the other socks we brought. It's just an excuse to charge more. They did allow me to bring in my water bottle (unlike another reviewer) so maybe they changed this rule - which would be good because that would've flipped my lid! Their check-in process is excessively detailed and slow, and they were really understaffed, and one register only took cash. After walking in the door, it took us more than 20 minutes to get through it. For the liability waiver, adults have to provide way more personal information than other trampoline/bounce places (more than seems necessary which made me concerned they're collecting for marketing purposes) and also unusually detailed child information - all of this has to be entered in a computer kiosk before you even approach the line. Then at check-in desk they made us go through all the information all over again to "verify" it. So why bother having us type all that in if you're asking it anyway?! It cost more than $45 for 3 kids to jump for 1 hour. They do have a few features Jumpoline does not, but they don't justify how much higher the price is. And there also are things Jumpoline has that Altitude does not. It's closer to me, but I won't be returning here often due to the price tag and will instead travel further down William Cannon for Jumpoline's better pricing for a similar experience. Or I'll go to the million other bouncy house places. read more

Our visit to Altitude didn't go very well. We went on a weekday, but the place was mobbed. I filled out the waiver online before we got in the car, but it wasn't really a time saver. We waited 15 minutes in the line to get checked in and they required a non-jumping adult to get a band to supervise their kid. It was overly crowded with a lot of line waiting at each jumping area, and it was loud. I guess because it is a new facility and it's been raining everyone was there. My child attempted dodge ball first, but the rules were different than at his school. The ref whistled him out and between the noise and the lines and the game rule confusion, he ended up in tears totally overwhelmed and unhappy. We arrived at 2 pm., waited in line to 2:15 pm, put on the special socks and decided where to jump first with the smallest line at 2:25 pm. He was pleading to leave at 2:30 pm, even though we had tried to make it a play date with a friend. We were in the car at 2:35 pm. And Mom was in tears, too, because I thought this would be a special end of summer excursion. It was a disastrous, expensive afternoon, and my child has sworn to never go back. We come here with our daughter quite often. The only complaint I would have is that it's a little expensive but in the end it's really worth the fun. My now six-year-old decided this is where she wanted her birthday party at so we booked it on a Sunday. The gentleman hosting her party, Ian was very friendly and attentive, checking that we had everything we needed and were happy the whole time. Biggest complaint is that the 2 hour time slot for the party goes QUICK especially since most people don't arrive right on time. It also takes a while to get kids registered but that's for liability purposes so it's understandable. At the end of the party the manager, Dario checked up with us on our experience and made sure we were happy even letting the kids jump just a little longer. I've read what other people are writing about having to buy socks but as a business owner myself I completely understand their logic behind that procedure. Good trampoline park, lots of square bounce trampolines, good variety of activities. Only two of the long tumbling trampolines in case you have a gymnast with you, but they aren't usually crowded with all of the other options. Having to buy their special socks is annoying but they are only $2. Pricing is high, so it makes sense to time your start about 1m after the half hour so you get closer to 1.5hrs for their $13/hr per person price. I got lucky and we ended up staying past our time a bit so it felt like we got a good value. If they had ushered us out of there quickly at 1hr it would have felt like a ripoff. It was okay. The kids really enjoyed it and had a good time. I was a parent attending a party and would have been disappointed. It took us at least 15 minutes to check in for the party. I was fortunate enough to have seen the waiver kiosks so I did that before getting to the counter. The girl checked us in and then disappeared several minutes before finally getting our socks and wristbands. There were people everywhere and it seemed really chaotic and disorganized. The party areas aren't really separated and people tend to stand around making navigation even harder. It was difficult to hear announcements and the building was really loud. The lines never really got smaller throughout our visit. They definitely need more staff and better signage instructing people to complete the waiver and where to check in for parties etc. read more

My son was wore out and sore when we left as he had used muscles that he hadn't used in a while. They sure were proud of their business, as it was reflected in their prices. Admission prices were pretty high, birthday party package prices were outrageous and the concessions were a straight up rip-off. The owners are raking it in from what I saw. They resell Cici's pizza at an exorbitant price, both in their concession stand as well as through their birthday party packages. If you're going to go to Sam's Club and buy a ton of bottled water for use in your business, why can't you pass along some of the savings? You get a party host included in your birthday party package who will drag a cooler of Sam's Club bottled water to the table, serve the kids pizza, play on their cell phone and socialize with all of the other party hosts. Not much for parents or adults to do if you're not 'jumping'. A few televisions, a few cheap futons, a few hard benches and some of the massaging recliners that you have to pay to make them work.
