I went to Altitude for a sisterhood event with my sorority and it was a lot of fun! It was nice to be able to tap into our inner child and jump around on the trampolines. I do think it was a bit crowded, but it could have been worse. I enjoyed the variety of trampolines they had. We explored the dodgeball area, regular trampolines, tumble track, and rock climbing wall. The pit got very deep when more people got onto it but I did really enjoy the rock wall. It was something I haven't seen at a trampoline park. There was also a small zipline. I think it was only for kids and would not have held us. The staff was nice and helpful when purchasing. I haven't been to this facility, but I accidentally booked a birthday party here and attempted to cancel within minutes of booking. The law provides a cooling off period for most purchases, and there should have been a simple way to cancel this transaction. But for some reason, canceling took MULTIPLE calls and emails to this facility and still didn't result in a cancellation. They wanted proof that I had rebooked at another facility, as well as my credit card number -- I used a virtual number for online security, so I was not able to provide this. In the end, I was instructed to dispute the transaction through my credit card company, which I did. All for a simple mistake that I tried to remedy within minutes. Each Altitude appears to be independently owned and operated. If not, I would have canceled at our original desired location, as well, as the whole experience was ridiculous. read more

My kids have come here a few times over the years for birthday parties or playdates with friends. Some days are more empty, other days they're packed to the brim. They always come back sweaty and happy. Everyone needs to have a waiver, which remain valid for 1-5 years or more. I just called to ask, and the friendly staff member was able to look me up by phone number, and give me expiration dates on all our waivers. (Adults might have a lifetime waiver, the kids will expire in different years). read more

The last time I came they had taken away my favorite trampoline spot and replaced it with a basketball court in the corner, I hope that is a temporary change. This is my kid's favorite place right now and honestly it's my favorite place to take her. Altitude has trampolines all over the facility and nothing else, which I appreciate. Some of the other bouncing places I feel like cater more to older, bigger kids, whereas Altitude is great for all ages. I took my 15 year old goddaughter there on Saturday night and we had SO MUCH FUN. Saturday is their "teen night"...and yes, I clarified that non-teens can also go. It's the night with the fewest young children though there were a few of those there anyway. And as a 30-something, I was not the oldest one there. So, really it's for a very wide range of ages. First, no one tells you HOW MUCH OF A WORKOUT THIS IS. It is cardio, but in the best way. Not only is the bouncing a workout, but simply trying to get out of those foam pits is exhausting. Jump into the foam pits only if you feel like you have the energy to get out lest you be stuck there forever. This place is large and it never felt crowded even on a Saturday night during the holidays. They have many different sections (dodgeball, lots of floor trampolines, multiple foam pits, gladiator, rock climbing wall, a trapeze swing that I don't have the arm or core strength for). Teen night is $17 for three hours (7-10pm, Saturday) which is a fantastic deal. If you don't go on a special night, purchase at least two hours. It's tiring and you'll want lots of rest, so you don't want to have to worry about the time. read more

My friend's ten year old daughter was having her bday party here and asked if I wanted to join them. Uhhhh-YASSSSS! This place is huge. There is a section for dodgeball, two long tramps for flipping and back handsprings and such as well as a massive room with trampoline after trampoline after trampoline. It was a Friday night and I felt like I was back in middle school-AWKWARD! My friend, her husband, and I were the only adults jumping. Most of the jumpers were between the ages of 10-16 ish. Most parents were sitting around basically waiting for their kid to be done jumping. We sat down for a break and a mom who was there with her kid said, " I saw you out there jumping. You looked great. If I tried that, I'd have to pee." (overshare but made me ) There were plenty of workers mulling around to keep everyone safe. There was even an officer. I am not sure if he was just a security officer or an actual Austin cop. I couldn't tell. ‍ There is a climbing wall with a foam pit beneath it and a trapeze that falls into foam. I tried the climbing wall but without shoes and just the socks they make you buy- it really hurt my feet. When I fell into the foam pit I was like -germs!! Overall, it was a neat little place. Good exercise. Well lit and organized. Seems secure and safe enough that you could drop your teens off, go grab dinner down the street, and come back to pick them up. read more

This is definitely the best indoor trampoline / jumping park in South Austin. It's a little bit more open and spacious than Urban Air. The kids loved the climbing wall and the staff here is fantastic and very catering to their clients and children. You can't go wrong with having a birthday party here and everyone in the family always have such an amazing time. As you can imagine the kids never want to leave and sometimes there is even a line to get in because it is so busy. You might want to make reservations for birthday parties. I feel super disappointed in the lack of humanity of this facility. There was no pizza available to buy while we were there. I brought in a couple of pizzas for my son's birthday as he does not like cake, and we were told that we couldn't have the pizza in the facility. We were told that we couldn't even leave the pizza unopenned and wait for the kids to be done jumping. We had to leave with the offensive pizza immediately. My son spent his 9th birthday eating pizza in the parking lot. Wow. Thanks for a memorable birthday. What kind of establishment treats people this way? One that simple doesn't care about people. After speaking with workers, all we received was a robotic reply that "we have no control over this". What? You cannot simply let some people sit and eat the pizza they brought for a child's birthday? It's a sad day when people have lost the ability to use common sense and think for themselves on how to treat a customer, especially a child. Uncaring management and workers. My 4 year old enjoyed this place so much! It's huge and has a dodgeball area, 2 foam pits, a large arcade, and a snack bar. Adults are welcomed to jump as well. They actually have staff on the trampolines monitoring the children which I've never seen. My son keeps asking to go back so I'm sure we'll be regulars soon. The only negative thing here is lack of food options. They've got candy, chips, soda, etc but the only real food you can get here is pizza. They order it from Cicis which in its own is gross but they charge $12 for it when we all know is only about $6 in store. Oh well, we'll just eat after because this is a great place! read more

Brought my kids here and I was pretty disappointed. We had previously been to their local competitor and it was completely different and we were very disappointed in Altitude. They charge by the hour which ends up being much more expensive. Rules are good but some of their rules were too strict and ruined the fun. I won't bring my kids back here. It seemed like it was setup for someone that was really trying to be good at gymnastics and not just a family trying to blow off some energy. They also insist on wearing THEIR socks even though we had brought socks with sticky bottoms. The staff didn't seem super engaged but you get that with teenagers. Oh well. Live and learn. WOW: Serious mixed feelings about this place! Out the gate, 1 star rating planned with my initial opening line: "Go this place ONLY if invited to a party and someone else is paying the way!!!" As other reviewers have mentioned: WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! Bumped up to 2 stars because of the variety vs the "competitors," and the kids had fun. Breakdown (as of 9/2016): $12.95 for 1 hr. Make that $14.95 if you don't have THEIR required socks! In 1 hr, my kids were tired! On a 2nd visit (courtesy of a friend), they lasted 2+ hrs, especially because a lot of mutual friends were there. They do have a good thing going with their membership and current interest: my 1 son has asked to return on popular nights that are frequented by his friends...perhaps this place deserves 3 stars? No, only 2: the sign-in process is ridiculous (see other posts) - WAY TOO TEDIOUS AND "IN YOUR FACE," asking for WAY TOO MUCH personal information! 4-5 stars for What you get: Large area of square-sized trampolines and edges lined with angled tramps and dotted with raised padded landing areas, smaller area with the same, tramp dodge ball "arenas" (in serious need of a better ball-containment system/netting), tramp basketball area, and foam pits... Foam pit areas: 1 section with 2 balance beams and only set of jousting "barbells," a foam pit beneath a rock wall (smallish, but nice inverted angle at the top for some added challenge), a foam pit with a low-height diving platform adjacent to a "springboard" (tramp) that includes an angled trampoline at the side to do tricks, and another foam pit area with a trapeze. The variety is nice. (0-1 star) Seating for parents/non-participants: seriously lacking in amount, comfort, accessibility, and viewing. There's a wide walkway between tramp areas that has ONE couch... yet, PLENTY of room for more. I ended up going ahead and paying to sit in the massage chair in the "dungeon" area by the far away bathrooms. Meanwhile, I had to step over people who were sitting on the narrow walkway between the large tramp area and the raised foam pit areas. The entry level area of picnic tables is fine for non-busy days, but good luck finding a place to sit otherwise! (1 star) The monitors are nearly worthless: some strict, some laissez-faire, and 100% inconsistent. Jousting monitor changed rules of who stays or if both must leave after a round (this day, it was dependent on how vocal the winner was), AND this monitor didn't allow anyone on the other balance beam when jousting took place). 2 monitors in the large area went out to the middle and just stood there, oblivious & uncaring that they blocked the full line of tramps that kids were bouncing across, racing. The dodge ball monitor kicked a kid out because their rules are different than Urban Air and Jumpoline Park: The guy barked out his ruling, never clarified Altitude's rules to him, the kid was in tears, and it wasn't even crowded! The "diving" and trapeze area monitors appeared adequate. Conclusion: my kids rated Urban Air and Jumpoline Park higher than this place. The only reason why we have returned is because of its location and my son's friends who are members, and for someone else's bday party. read more

I've been here multiple of times and have always jumped with both my kids in the same section. For some reason today not even 5 minutes into jumping I was being told rudely that I can't hold my daughters hand and jump with her at the same time although I paid for everyone in my family to be jumping. Last time I was here she was flipped over by a way bigger kid so she wanted me to stay by her this round and that's all I was doing. I kept being told I needed to stay in the kiddy section although she wants to jump with her brother LIKE ALL THE OTHET TIMES. Everyone was rude today- yes there was alot going on but they should be more accommodating to smaller families who just wanted to enjoy an HOUR of jump time. Definitely lost my respect as a business today and we will not be back. read more

This was the first time I personally had been to an Austin area trampoline park. That being said, I won't be comparing it to other parks in the area. My kids have been to other ones and like it here. We arrived later in the evening and happened to land in a "Happy Hour" time frame. We had intended on getting the two hour purchase, but was able to get from our arrival time to closing time access for less than the cost of two hours. This would have equated to 3 and a half hours of time approximately. The kids put on their special socks and took off!! The first 45 min we could barely spot them! They were having a blast. After that the sweaty beasts appeared and needed hydration. They promptly snatched at my large cherry icee, but I was not having that!!! They were offered to get their own, but opted for lower calorie Izee's from the vending machine. A quick few chugs and off they went!!! All of the various obstacles and activities were really cool. They liked the dodge-ball a lot, but disliked the older kids hogging the balls and then firing full force at their heads!! LoL!! They took it with a sporty attitude though! They said the "refs" coulda stepped in more. Overall it was a great time for them!! Would love to see Pizza & Burger options at the snack bar and alcohol for the adults would be a bonus, but definitely not necessary. My girlfriend and I went here a few weekends ago. Pros: -It's a trampoline park. -It has a foam pit and a stunt area. -It's really fun to see kids wipe out and cry. Does that make me a bad person? Maybe. Does it make this place less fun? Not really. Cons: -There's usually a lot of kids here. I don't like kids, but you kind of have to expect kids at a place like this. It would be cool if they had an adult night or some sort of trampoline version of "adult swim". Adult bounce, I guess? -I rolled my ankles about 45 minutes into bouncing, because I'm a stupid ass. I came here with my grandsons and there were 2 clerks at a cash register who were just flirting and talking to each other for MORE than five minutes and my grandsons started yelling "Hey can you help us?" They helped us but never focused and kept up the non-stop flirting and it took forever. The girl was new and did not know how to do ANYTHING but maybe that was just to get his attention. Got there early on Saturday morning and it was such a treat for my kiddo! The staff were present and friendly and remembered our names the entire time we were there. (4 hours) Melysa our party coordinator was able to predict our needs and somehow able to track down all the party guests when it was time for pizza and cake. She was coordinating several parties at once with a smile and answer to every issue. The restrooms were clean and there was actually a small sitting area to make phone calls and take a little breather from all the jumping. We will be back with our family and friends. I was reluctant to take my boys to yet another jump/bounce place; this place is different from the other spots that have been around town. From the moment we got there until we left (3 hours later) the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and patient! t seemed like the staff actually enjoyed working there! My 12 year old stayed for the 'Teen Frenzy' and had a fantastic time- so take note to parents who have kids under 8 on a Friday Night- there's a huge amount of tweens there. The place was well air conditioned! It wasn't like a muggy swamp that others seem to be. The activities are spread out in a clever manner and feels really open. The socks they sell prevent major slips that cause injuries, so that is a plus. There's also a slew of massage chairs and comfy couches to hang out on aside from chairs and tables. They sell water and gatorade and slushies, but no food. Needless to say, it's a nice addition to South Austin. read more

My kids love Altitude! Best variety of activities. The Friday nights for 10-13 year olds are like nights at the skating rink for us older people! My oldest thinks this is the best thing ever! Several have voiced frustration over the time in completing the waiver. You can do this online before going. And, the waiver is saved in their system & can be used for future visits. I do not believe the info requested is beyond any other waivers or being sold to other companies as one has suggested. And, thank you for requiring the special socks - I understand the reasoning... $2 for socks is not unreasonable. I do think there needs to be more personnel during the busy times! There are bigger kids sprinting - and, I mean sprinting - throughout the walk way areas. I know it's fun but a older kid sprinting and then running into a small child will not be pretty! This was my first time visiting this location, paid for my visit online and signed the waiver online as well, so that was convenient. I wish that I was warned online prior to buying my "1 hour" of open jump that I wouldn't get an hour's worth of time. Purchased an hour on Sunday for 7-8pm and their hours state they close at 8pm but all jumping was cut off at 7:30pm so I paid $25 for 30 minutes for two kids, not worth my money. In addition, most of the employees I encountered did not seem to enjoy being there. And finally, it was not pleasant to see a "lead" (I assume) in a pink shirt talking down to one of her employees in front of customers, it was obvious she has no training in coaching employees and that the employee was embarrassed that I could see what was happening. read more

Been here twice and had a great time. However there are a few things downsides to this place: 1. Toilet paper is scarce in the women's bathroom. Last night 2 out of 3 stalls did not have any. The time before that 1 of the stalls did not have paper. 2. They expect you to pay in 1 hour increments. If you get there at 7:30 want to stay to 9pm (closing time), then you have to pay for 2 hours even though you will only get to jump for 1h and 30m. That is a rip off in my opinion. Lastly, I am disappointed that they do not cater more to adults 18+. They have a "teen night" but it is for 14-18. I am 27 and I could hang out there for a good while. It is a great way to get a work out in while having fun. Why not do discounted rates for ages 18+ at least one night of the week? Or heck every night of the week? Get adults in the door and show them that this place isnt just for little kids. Another idea- partner with Austin Sports and Social to offer a discount on certain nights for those who are in leagues (especially dodge ball and basketball since they have courts for those sports). Obviously it is not exactly like the regular sport but it is exercise and to some degree a practice. It would also be a great way to get adults in the door. read more

The place is an average jump park. The interior is new and the tramps have a lot of bounce. Not happy that you have to wear their custom socks. Who remembers to bring the special socks with them if they want to go back. It's a great way for them to make extra cash though. I credit the marketing team who thought of the idea but it's also the reason I won't go back. So the general manager reached out to me and commented that the grip socks are for the safety of our guests. Where's the safety in the rock wall? 1. You should never climb a rock wall in socks. You can break your ankle or stump your toe. 2. You should always wear a harness and have a trained staff member belaying each child. I would re-evaluate the rock wall immediately before someone gets hurt. read more
