I finally pulled the trigger on getting a new garage door. I wanted something simple, a metal door with a faux wood finish with windows at the top. I spoke with "John" in December 2025 and "Ruben" reported the next morning taking measurements and listening to exactly what I wanted. On January 6, 2026 my door arrived (it was exactly what I was informed it would be!!) and two and a half hours later John, Ruben, Ismael and Phil completed the install. Beforehand I had also asked John if they could cut a piece of the old wood door out because my father, in the past, had been writing notes on that door regarding the dogs and I thought it'd be kind of cool to keep it; thank God John thought the very same thing! My garage door broke while it was open. When I called Aluminum Door they said they could come out the next day unless it was urgent. Since urgent cost extra money I said I can wait and leave my garage door open, even though I prefer not to. The guy said hold on let me see if I can squeeze you in because he saw on Google that my garage was located on the street. He got someone to come out the same day to repair my garage door without charging me an extra urgent fee. The person came, fixed it and got it running even better than before. These guys are great. Needed a semi complex job done, we needed to ventilate the garage - but the current door had to match HOA specifics - so they gave a few different options from replacing the whole door to installing a custom panel. Gavin was awesome and Alexa was fantastic. They were thorough, and no pressure at all. They were reasonably priced, too. In the end they sourced a matching panel, custom fit some screens on it and painted it to match the current door. I called them on Thursday morning to see when they would be able to come and fix the door. I was told that they would be there in about 30 min. To say I was pleased would be an understatement. The technician arrived on time and explained exactly what work was included with the service call and what the parts would cost. He replaced both springs and serviced the door system completely. Oh my gosh! Service was spectacular! I woke up this morning, coffee in hand, ready to go to work except.... garage door would not go up. Tried to do the manual thing but to no avail. It's the day before Thanksgiving... I called the number on my garage door, a guy answers and says that he can have someone out by 2. Awesome! Ruben was here on time at 2. He just left at 2:34. This company provides excellent workmanship, and the people there are polite and professional. Many years ago they installed new screens on all our windows -- the fit was perfect, and the screens still look great.  We also asked them to repair the mechanism to our old electric garage door - and we never had problems with it again. Two months ago my husband decided he wanted to change out our "old fashioned" one piece flat garage door for the kind that has sections and rolls open and closed.  We also requested that they install the newer type of electric garage door opener that comes with a battery back-up. This morning my double-car sectional garage door, without warning, came off the runners and jammed as I was closing it. I called Aluminum Door and Screen, fearing the door was actually bent. Ismael was at my house in 20 minutes. "This is fixable," he said. He adjusted the tension and cables and got everything clean and back in its proper place, tinkering until, gradually, the door was completely balanced and quiet. Called "Aluminum Door & Screen" to inquire about getting some screens re-screened and about getting some new screens. I talked to John (the business owner) about having someone come out to look at what I wanted to have done. I gave him my phone number and he called me back later the same day. It was on a Thursday, John told me that he guy was booked the following day (Friday), but could come by on Monday morning. He gave me a time of between 9:00 and 10 am Monday morning. A gentleman from "Aluminum Door & Screen" arrived at 9:45 am. After discussing what I need and want, the gentleman took all the screens in the apartment. He asked if I could write down my e-mail address on the work order. The gentleman from "Aluminum Door & Screen" had a clip board with the work order on it. The work order had my name, address & phone number. He handed it to me and I wrote down my e-mail address. As he was leaving, the gentleman from "Aluminum Door & Screen" told me that he was going right back to the business and John would be calling me shortly with an estimate. It was almost 2 pm and had not heard from John about the estimate. I had to leave, to go to work. So I called and talked to John. He said he was measuring the screens and working on an estimate as we speak and would e-mail me shortly with the estimate. I received the estimate and looked it over. I called John back and the first thing I told John was that I noticed he put down the wrong phone number on the estimate. He told me that he would correct it. I told him to do the work. He told me that he could come back and install the new screens on Thursday. I told him that I would be working. I asked if he could have someone come out on Friday to install the new screens. John said that would be fine. John told me between 9 & 10 am. Aluminum Door & Screen sent me an e-mail at 3:41 pm Thursday afternoon stating that they did not receive their order of screen frame from the factory yet and we will need to reschedule the installation of the screens and they are trying to find out when the frames will be arriving and would let me know as soon as possible. Also in the e-mail I was asked to confirm my phone number that they didn't think the number was working. When I spoke with John on Monday about doing the screens he told me that he would start working on them. He never said anything about ordering any supplies. I ask John to do the work because he told me that he would have the screens by Friday. If I had known that he had to order supplies/parts to do my screens I would not have asked him to do the work. When I came home from work Thursday night I responded to the e-mail that I received from "Aluminum Door & Screen". I stated that it was upsetting to be informed the night before that my screens would not be installed. I confirmed my phone number and informed them that my phone is working. The problem with the phone number is that John never changed it on Monday, when I told him that he put the wrong phone number on the estimate. Instead of trying to call me, John sent another e-mail Friday morning. The e-mail John had excuse after excuse to why my screens are not done. But he did say sorry for the delay in the e-mail. I called "Aluminum Door & Screen" Friday morning. John would not admit that he make a mistake or did anything wrong. He did not offer any sort of discount for the delay or inconvenience that he and his business caused. Since there was an appointment for 9 to 10 am, I told John not to do the work and to just return my old screens. John threatened me and told me to F*** OFF, that he was not going to return my screens. Since John threatened me, I did not want to go to Aluminum Door & Screen. I called the police and they came to my house. After explaining things to the police officer, she called Aluminum Door & Screen and talked to John (the business owner). Of course John lied and told a whole different story. He denied everything. The police officer asked when he was going to bring back my property (screens). He told the police officer that he would have someone drop them off between 1 & 2 pm Friday afternoon. The screens were dropped off at 1:43 pm Friday afternoon. The gentleman from Aluminum Door & Screen that dropped off the screens was the same gentleman that picked them up. What reputable business owner lies, threatens customers. What reputable business owner uses foul language when talking to customers on the phone. Does not admit that he made several mistakes and when mistakes are brought to his attention does offer any compensation or explanation other than trying to blame the customer or trying to put the blame on his employees. What reputable business owner refuses to return a customer's property. A person should not have to call the police to get his property back. There's one word to describe John at Aluminum Door & Screen Company and that is "PATHETIC". read more

We've been using them for years, mainly for our garage door. They kept our old one working for long past when it should have quit. Then, when it was time to put it out of it's misery, they replaced it with a great new door at a great price, and have kept it and the automatic door opener working great. We were looking to have someone install a garage door opener. Had received a Genie door opener as a gift, but needed it installed. Called up Aluminum Door and Screen and they made an appointment and sent out a technician when we were free. Ruben was our installer. He came with a truck and got to work. Took him 3hours to install a new automated door opener from scratch (the kit that we had a lot of pieces). Took his time, didn't rush, measured everything and got it set up nicely. We are very meticulous regarding the details and the install kept in line with our aesthetics. Overall very happy with the service. I had to make some changes to my garage door. It's a 4 panel roll-up door. I had several other companies come out and give me bids. They all said I needed an entire new door. Bids were upwards of $2,300. This company came out, looked at it, and said "no", all I needed was new "tracks". $440 and they did the job today. It included re-adjusting the Genie door opener. I can't say enough positive things about this company. They are professional, high quality, very timely, and excellent service. I talked to many companies about replacing my old wooden tilt-up and there weren't many out there that would even do it. Said tilt-ups aren't common anymore. The ones that did give me an estimate were much higher than the one I got form these guys., They sent out a designer builder to evaluate and measure and answer my many questions, down to exactly the type of wood and materials used and the exact specifications of manufacturing. I must admit I am very picky. I am an architectural colorist and designer and I drew up the specs for the custom made redwood door. When they had questions they contacted me so there were no surprises. The door was delivered with a couple of weeks and installed perfectly.
