That was frustrating because I would have preferred to know that before the appointment was scheduled so I could have planned accordingly. He also explained that the service had been delayed because he was still waiting on one of the parts and wanted to make sure it was a good quality part and not a cheap one, which I actually appreciated. The issue was the lack of communication leading up to the delay and the fact that one of the tasks could not be completed. During the visit, he called me over and asked technical questions about the plumbing setup that I could not reasonably answer. He then had me call the homeowner while she was at work and kept her on the phone to ask her those questions, which defeated the whole point of me being there for the appointment. The configuration was right there in front of him, so it felt unnecessary and unprofessional. We also agreed on a price beforehand, but the price changed after he arrived. When I questioned it, he said he had to charge what he did because my faucet was "high end." That did not make sense to me because the faucet was an under 200 dollar Home Depot faucet installed by a family member. The explanation felt off, and combined with everything else it did not inspire confidence. With the inability to complete one of the tasks, the shifting price, and the overall vibe of the interaction, I decided not to move forward. When I declined service, he muttered multiple comments under his breath to his partner while I was standing a few feet away, including unbelievable and similar remarks. That was unprofessional and disappointing.

They told me that because this home builder glued everything, I would need a plumber and quietly recommended this place. I placed a call and Angel came out the next morning. Showed him both problems, the other being an overflow issue with the dishwasher. He told me how to fix that issue and within 30 minutes sent a quote. If he had to fix both issues, there was a $100 discount for multiple projects. Fortunately I fixed the dishwasher issue, so they only needed to fix one which saved me over $150. The next afternoon Austin came out and fixed it. Great work! Great price! Great company and the best tag line out there. A+++

My 48-year-old septic system decided to retire on Thanksgiving day. Salinas Septic Sewer Services,…read morea family owned business, was the first to respond to my Yelp search. Grandfather, father, and son arrived on Saturday morning on a holiday weekend to begin the rescue operation on this old system, explained everything thoroughly, educated me along the way, and spent most of the past week digging, cleaning, upgrading, and getting the system working again . . . all in a spirit of good humor and respect for a widow with zero experience in this realm. In the process, they kept us functioning on a minimal use plan (no laundry) so that we had most of the creature comforts with minimal disruption to our everyday lives. They carefully covered holes in the ground to protect children, pets, and wild creatures from the ongoing work and used cameras and other electronics to assess the problem areas in a system that is now obsolete. They left the work area clean and neat, holes filled, dirt raked, septic system functioning. They promised to come back in a month to check the status of their work. Now to be sure that I do periodic maintenance going forward so there are no more emergency calls!! I sincerely appreciate this family-owned business, their knowledge and work ethic, and their kindness to me.
