After doing a little research and seeing good reviews, we called them to rebuild the transmission. Advance towed it (at no extra charge) and had the transmission rebuilt in record time. They suggested I bring it back in a week to check for any oil leaks; I did and no problems, no extra charge. Then, I brought it to my regular Honda dealer in Riverhead for another issue and their mechanic spotted what he thought might be a leak near the axle and recommended that I "bring it back to the transmission place". We called and got an appointment that day. Advance put it up on the lift and did a thorough inspection. Once again, no problem and no extra charge.

So when we asked if there is anyone else they could recommend to help she responses with "yea I don't know what to tell you, you'll have to figure it out yourself" then hung up on us. You don't want take the service call because we're not under contract, fine but here is no reason to be rude and unhelpful to your loyal customers when we are asking for help. We have small children in the house, we needed your service. It shows the Caliber of people that company is willing to hire. With Hondaman, every visit has been incredible. If you need something fixed, they'll make it almost new. They're very honest with their work and will confirm with you before doing anything additional, whereas other places I've been to will do what they think is "important", then charged me for it after the fact. Hondaman will advise you of anything that needs to be done after they finish what you went to them for. Plus, their prices are reasonable and affordable. I took it back and they lowered the tank slightly so the valve could open. Not long after my check engine light came on and codes P0442 and P0446 popped up. The mechanic admitted they put the gas tank on too tight, which led to the solenoid malfunction. They offered to fix it for $500! I don't recommend anyone take their vehicle here. They have a pattern of creating more problems for their customers than solving them.
