We loved this local coffee shop! Kenn and Carly were very sweet, helpful, and welcoming. The coffee was delicious and there were a lot of flavor options. The coffee shop also displays information about local businesses, art from local high school students, and some cute shop merchandise. The shop has a lot of natural light and it offers a main level seating area and an upstairs seating area. The downstairs vibe is coffee and yap while the upstairs area offers a more focused and quiet setting perfect for studying or reading. The upstairs area is still very open with natural light. There is also a conference room upstairs that you are able to reserve. Check this place out and support local!!! :)

A little chocolate cake to start my shopping day.

This little shop is cute. I have been in there three times now and every time the staff is super friendly and quick. Today I decided to have a gingerbread man latte and I got it served hot with whipped cream. Perfect for this really cold day! I also decided to get a pumpkin muffin to go and a chocolate cake that I ate along with my latte. That chocolate cake was super moist pretty much was falling apart as I was cutting through. I go into Batesville a lot so I'm sure that I will be stopping at this coffee shop again.

Very nice atmosphere, coffee was tasty but a tad overpriced. Not many food options but overall enjoyable.

    Expensive latte.

Friendly, pleasant service and atmosphere ...Just be aware you'll be imho *excessively* up-charged on lattes for anything added or that is substituted for standard milk and caffeinated. E.g. you'll be up-charged for ordering: half-caff, whipped cream, nut/oat/soy milk. For example you'll pay $8.88 for a 12oz half caff, nut milk w a flavored syrup and whip! That is $5.24 worth of up-charges! (a standard latte is $3.64). Additionally: I have also ordered the exact same drink several times and have never been charged the same price twice (it's ranged from between $7 and $9).

Plenty of seating in the space to sit and chat, work or read, or play a game.

Amack's Well is everything a local corner coffee shop should be. I wasn't sure what to expect before my first visit today, but I was really impressed! The shop has a good amount of seating - and even a private room should you need it. They have baked goods that include gluten free goodies - which you know I love! Today they had GF brownies, peanut butter cookie cups with chocolate in the middle, and chocolate chip cookies. Other food items like oatmeal, chips, and packaged bars are available, too. Another plus to Amack's Well is for my fellow dairy free friends - they have both almond and soy milk options! I'm a tea drinker, and I was pleasantly surprised to find they serve Rishi teas. I tried their newest addition - spiced pear - first. It smelled amazing, and was pretty tasty, too. Not my favorite tea ever, but it was good! They give free refills of the hot water if you drink it inside, so I took advantage of that. Later, my friend and I went back in the same day. That time, I chose the turmeric ginger tea. I added a bit of honey and it was so good! I'd recommend trying that one. With a large tea only costing $1.98, it's easy to enjoy! The bathroom was really clean, large, and included a baby changing station. Always a plus! And this is a coffee shop where you can gather and enjoy your people. They have a full bookshelf with books and games for you to use. As I was leaving, a group of four women had just started a game of Scrabble, which I think is so fun! Anyway, highly recommend a visit to Amack's Well! It's cute, cozy and accommodating if you're gluten and/or dairy free! I'll be back next time I'm meeting friends halfway. ‍

This is a nice find in downtown Batesville. Stopped here on my way to Ohio for a coffee and ended getting a coffee slushee (not sure of the exact name). It was amazing. At this time masks are suggested but the staff were all wearing one and half the customers were wearing theirs. This will be my halfway stop from now on for trips to Cincinnati.

This place is a staple in Batesville. Also one of the few options LOL The last time I was here there was a giant hole in the ceiling and construction vinyl everywhere. Now it has been completed and it looks awesome. They really made the interior of the space look great here. Overall they have pretty good standard coffee shop items and some really interesting food items as well. I will note that they charge me an extra dollar for a non-dairy milk. It's strange to me but I guess with dairy being subsidized it is very cheap for businesses to purchase. Not cheap for the environment. Overall the staff was friendly and helpful and a little slow but they did a good job. I will definitely be going back anytime I'm in Batesville.

I wanted a coffee on the drive home from Indianapolis and didn't want to go to a chain location. I found this via google. I am so happy to say that I came here and can't wait for a reason to come back. This is a very clean and neat place. The coffee I ordered was super yummy and the staff was very helpful and nice.

Here on a quick trip from California and was craving some good coffee while on the road. Was super pleased to find this place! They had great alternative milk options, which was helpful for my lactose allergy. The staff in there were extremely welcome and very kind. Not to mention the building is absolutely stunning. Would highly recommend this place!

The interior was attractive, clean, spacious, and inviting. The service was generous and friendly. Our drinks were good, with juice boxes available for kids, and a nice variety of tea bags to choose from. I hope to go back!

Oh well. My coffee money went to Scooter's. I just got a black coffee from the drive-thru. Scooter's has a drive-thru! The whole transaction, from pulling up to the drive-thru kiosk to ordering to receiving my coffee, was seamless and fast. The people who work here who I encountered were very friendly, too. Scooter's has a large menu of coffee drinks. In fact, there are more coffee-like drinks than there are just regular coffee. They have things like Cinnamon Toast Crunch lattes, green leprechaun shakes, smoothies, and even energy drinks. They also have pup cups (of what looks like whipped cream) for dogs. I didn't want any of that, but if you're in the mood to drink all of your calories for the day, this place will help you out with that. The coffee was good, the service was quick, and best of all, they were open.

The cafe is located in the converted historic ROM Webber furniture factory. The Big Four cafe name honors the railroad line that used to pass through town. Courtney, our server, was friendly and attentive. She kept water filled and checked on us frequently. Food came out quickly. I had the Herb and Garlic Chopped salad, which was beautifully plated, fresh and delicious. Romaine, tomatoes, onions were topped with cheese and avocado. The garlicky vinaigrette dressing was tangy. I I also had a cup of the Texas Chili, which was topped with cheese and jalapeño slices. The beef was tender and the soup base slightly spicy. My husband had the Cuban Press (at Courtney's recommendation) and it was tasty and hearty. The sandwich was made using Indiana ham, slowed cooked pork and melted cheese. He said his sandwich was an easy 5 stars. Don't miss the beer battered onion rings which are fresh made and delicious. (I stole a couple of his rings.) There are roomy restrooms with changing tables. Free parking is available in front of the building. Worth a visit.

Definitely a two thumbs up experience and worth a drive!
