Beautiful bakery that caught my eye from the other side of the street as I was walking by. I thought, hmm let me check it out. From the outside, it looked nice. I walked in and found security by the door. Lots of seating. Space was neat. Ordering was a bit confusing as I wasn't sure if they take the order at the cash or at the display (as I was walking by the display to see what's available, someone asked how they can help). They have a wide variety of options, with a lot more sweet options than savoury but they did have quite a lot of items to choose from. Everything looked so good. I ended up settling for a feta and spinach pastry, as well as the pistachio and white chocolate babka. To my surprise, it wasn't too sweet. For the pastry however, I found that the filling was quite minimal and it could've been a lot more generous. Found the drink prices to be quite affordable. Quality of product was great. Beautiful space and aesthetics. A little on the pricier end for the cakes and treats but quality is there so makes sense. Was also confused about the animal policy in store as the sign outside said no live animals inside but there were dogs on leash inside.

Just needed a bit id breakfast and enticed by the shop front. It did not disappoint. Pastries are top notch, though would not say best of entire Toronto. Also, the coffee and latte is also good, unless some good pastries shops that offer mediocre drinks. Ambience is nice and bright and service is on par of such a decent pastry shop. No waiting even when the place is full. However, you might not have a seat all the time, the down side of a good place. Food highlights: Pistachio Prestige - my fav of three items i tried. Creamy with a bit of citrus blackberry jam in the center. Perfectly balanced Pistachio macrons - perfectly competitive to Lauduree, the international benchmark Spinach croissant - good crispy and fluffy pastry with well measured spinach cheese

Great new addition to the Yorkville Neighbourhood. Inside this patisserie/boulangerie/coffee shop is screaming of luxury. Decor is modern contemporary with a fair amount of seating. Definitely a wow factor visually seeing all the baked goods. Service can improve over time but felt cold. Decided to grab red velvet cake, festive yule log, brioche and a chocolate babka. All 4 items dispite their appearance had the right amount of sweetness where it doesn't feel overwhelming where I can eat a whole cake without getting diabetes. Perhaps they have a great ventilation system but the lack of rich buttery smell in the shop is a draw back for me when I enter baked goods shops.

I'm excited that this bakery opened in downtown Toronto. In fact, it is the first location within Toronto! It opened on 2024-11-21. I've had their cakes before from their Thornhill location. It was well-made and not too sweet. They sell cakes, tarts, macaroons,  pasteries,  breads, cookies, sandwiches, and hot/cold drinks. The customer service was good. There were a lot of staff on their first day. There is a large indoor seating area. This is a husband and wife business, running for 30 years! There is free WiFi. The patisserie is wheelchair accessible. There are two gender-neutral washrooms, one of which is wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking (but very hard to find during business hours). Review 2024-243

This is their second location in GTA and I'm so happy it's closer to me than the Thornhill location. They opened up this morning and it's very beautiful; spacious interior, beautiful and delicious croissants, variety of cakes, colorful macarons, mini shortcakes and cakes and full size cakes. Everything looks and tastes amazing.

I have read about this place and bookmarked it for a future visit. On Friday afternoon, I was around the neighborhood and decided to visit to try their baked goods. The place was clean and modern, with white walls, plus black and red colours scattered throughout to add some flair. It was already packed as if people were all hanging out here! The aroma of coffee and pastries tickled my nose! The pastries looked so good, I had a difficult time narrowing my choice to two items. After, I orered a Raspberry Cream filled Croissant and a Pistachio Macaron. The staff were welcoming and friendly. There were busy making sure that the coffee orders were fresh and other food items were received in a timely manner. There was not any seating available, so I had my order as a to-go order. Both items (Raspberry Cream filled Croissant and a Pistachio Macaron) were delicious. The croissant was flaky and butterly, with the raspberry cream that added a bit of tangy flavour. Also, the macaron was soft yet lightly crunchy, with the nutty flavour just like its name. A great addition to the neighborhood, I look forward to many more visits!

I tried the raspberry croissant and chocolate roll, and both were nothing to write home about. Both were not super flakey and mild in flavour. The latte was also quite standard.

You can't go wrong with any of their premium flavours. Each one of them is tuned to perfection, with an emphasis on Asian flavours. I always feel like a kid in a candy store here. Perhaps it's because of the colourful display from the moment you step inside, or the seemingly endless list of flavours on the wall staring back at you, or maybe it's because the moment you swing open the door, a friendly storeowner readily appears at your service? Hm... what will I have today? Pro tip: as the store owner would tell you, wait a few min for the ice cream sandwich to thaw before biting in. About 5 min is good and enough time to take Yelp pics. The only unfortunate thing for me is that they're downtown and I'm uptown! Regardless, I always make an effort to drop by whenever I can. Their opening hours are not too friendly though... But I guess you can say that adds to their appeal. This little shop could really use more publicity. I believe we have to get more people eating macaron ice cream sandwiches this summer. I highly recommend!!!

This patisserie in the path is such a quiet place that barely has customers every time I've walked by ...now I know why. There was only one person when I stopped by, popped in to grab a quick little treat for a coworker's birthday. The one girl working didn't acknowledge me at all until she had no other choice, not a simple "I'll be with you in a second" or even a glance/nod over. Vibes were very off. Also she was the slowest mover I've ever seen, it felt like all her movements were in slow-mo from wrapping, packaging the processing payment. I've literally never seen a human worker move at that pace. Even after the other customer wrapped up and left it took her at least another minute before looking up at me. When I picked my item, again... she was moving at a pace where natural selection would've definitely taken her out. Not sure what was going on but it was weird. The air was stiff as there wasn't any customer service, kindness or even welcoming in the store. And the audacity of the machine to ask for a tip???? For what? Packing up a pastry at a snails pace? Tipping culture has really gotten out of hand. Grabbed my item and left, with no intent of ever returning if I'm paying premium prices for pastries, there are much better, friendlier and QUICKER places to go to. +1 star for the pretty pastry.
