We tried to eat here but couldn't get in, it is super small inside. We will make reservations next time as the menu definitely needs to be explored further. However, one of our takeout items was a meatball sandwich that was outstandingly delicious! We also loved the lasagna. They have something they call "fat baby's" which is described as an "open end hero stuffed with pasta and sauce". This was not a good item to take to go. It was mediocre. Wanted to treat family with a new place that I had seen with great foodie pics and great reviews. Saturday ordered online to have it delivered (hoped to spend more time with family from California) only to discover after placing the order that they don't deliver to my area (I'm 5.9 miles and a 12 min drive away). Ok fine, I will go and pick up....receive text my order was ready and we were sitting in parking lot for curbside pickup. Yeah it wasn't ready, but ok.... waited and finally got my three pizzapaizzonis which is a combo 1/2 pizza, 1/2 calzone, a order of garlic knots (garlic ball not knots at all), a house salad with a ranch dressing that they charged extra for it as it comes with a vinaigrette dressing instead of substituting it. When all was said and done my order before tax was $93.26.oh and I used a coupon and got a whole penny off my order..... really, why? Sent text to me order ready at 6:44 pm and at 6:51 still sitting in my car waiting for the order. My boyfriend decided to order Amano delivery from UberEats. The order was placed around 4:45 and received it at approximately 5:30. The items we selected were the following -Garlic Knots -Cheese Pizza (Large) -Rice Balls The Rice Balls were okay, not flavorful though. There wasn't any substance to the rice and lacked seasoning that really need to make the fried rice balls. The Garlic Knots were good, loaded with garlic and were not burnt. The dough was not too doughy. It was a perfect blend. I thought the marinara sauce from Amano was a little too sweet for my taste. The Cheese Pizza was cooked well, not burnt. The dough though was a little soggy. It may have been because it was delivery, and should have ate at the restaurant instead. The cheese was good though. The price wasn't too bad. It came out to be roughly $30.00 and that included delivery. It would have been a little less eating at the restaurant. Unfortunately, I ended up getting a really bad upset stomach after eating the food. I won't be back here to try it out again, but if I were to recommend ordering anything from Amano, try out their Garlic Knots! read more

Came here after visiting hoover dam and lake mead over a year ago but forgot to leave a review so here it is: oh my god these are huge portions!!! We were starving we actually ate mostly everything but the presentation of the food is great. They call their restaurant a judgement free zone to eat the food however you want to, just dig in! The Fat babies we got were delicious, honestly, you cant go wrong with their fat babies, the bread is soft with a good crunch on the outside. Can't recommend amanos enough!!! I was really looking forward to trying this place out with the Pie-Zoni combo. My boyfriend loves Calzone and I enjoy my pizza pies. We also ordered the meatballs. Pie-Zoni 3/5 stars: calzone was filled with pepperoni, olives, and ricotta cheese. Side of marinara sauce came with it. The pizza side was pepperoni and it was just literally okay. The pizza itself was bland and no wow factor. Meatballs: 2/5 stars: They were definitely not fresh and reheated. When they reheated them they became dried out and hard on the outside. They have potential if they were fresh. The taste of them I would say is a 3/5 stars and the marinara sauce it was in you could tell was also over reheated. This teensy tiny little strip mall joint packs a huge punch. They have the most amazing pizza/pasta combination concoctions. So why do I always order arguably the most boring thing on their extensive menu? Because I adore an amazing spaghetti with olive oil and garlic! This is incredible the first time around and as multiple leftovers (pasta breakfast anyone?)! I also regularly order the mushroom truffle and cheese garlic knots. Cheesiness to die for! Their tomato sauce is the only flavor and it's decent but just nothing special. I had the pumpkin parmigiana and it was okay but certainly not a dish I'm running back to get. Amano is the BEST in all of Vegas as far as I've found thus far (I drive a chalkboard painted SUV around, with a request to text me best pizza suggestions everywhere I go, so I am always looking for and trying new contenders) I was saddened on Super Bowl Sunday of 2020 when I learned of this Fat Baby while picking up takeout pizza for the game (which was amazing, by the way) and learned that these monstrosities are for dine-in only! Having temporarily moved away from Vegas, I had to wait over a YEAR drooling at these on instagram, before I finally made it back last week to dine-in there on a non football occasion...totally worth the wait, and it did not disappoint! Best meatballs I've found anywhere in/near Vegas (Golden Steer steakhouse makes ones that win with an asterisk above all others, because they make them with their filet mignon, earning them the name "cheatballs" with me, and excluding them from the true meatball from an Italian joint crown) I will be back again ASAP to try the crazy knots (smothered in mozzarella and pepperoni) as well as the pizza-piezoni (I don't do ricotta so I need someone who eats calzones to join me for this mission...I'll be getting another Fat Baby surely and sharing the pizza/calzone combo with ny guest/date) and I have no doubts that all of the above will be as delicious and amazing as this Fat Baby was :) read more

It was my first time visiting this place. The appetizers were delightful, and I was excited for the main course. However, I was very disappointed. All the food was excessively salty. The veal, chicken, and ribs were particularly bad--they were overcooked and lacked flavor. To make matters worse, the water I was served tasted awful, like it was from a sewer. Our party tried a couple of the signature FatBaby's which look like pasta served in milkshake fashion. I shared in a Pasta Pie-Zoni which is a pizza and calzone in one.
