Service was great. The place is very small inside and as you are walking to get there you see signs saying "25 min wait from this point" so I imagine it gets very busy. But it's 100% worth the wait. Anyone want an eight egg omelet? We'll you'll get it here at Omelet House in Summerlin. Waited a bit, when my husband said to me, "its not even that busy and no one has come by". Next thing we know, a server appears at our table and looked annoyed. Probably heard my husband, but he wasn't lying. Not a smile from the server, just gave us the menu and walked away. Husband had the biscuits and gravy and said the gravy needed more seasoning. I ordered the Rio Grande Surfer (chorizo) with potatoes. It was tasty, but OMG it was greasy as hell!! I guess no one told the cook to drain the oil. I ate probably a quarter of the omelet, because seeing all that grease grossed me out. They have signage for 1hr wait down to 15 minutes we timed it well walked right in. When we saw the amount of locals within the restaurant, we instantly knew we found a wonderful place at tremendous value. Located in a strip mall, this restaurant is about 20-30 minutes from the strip. Parking is ample in front of the restaurant. The restaurant offers traditional breakfast and lunch items with very large serving, and prices are very reasonable. For my breakfast, I ordered the lobster omelet with English muffin. The omelet was huge like a burrito with tons of lobster and avocado inside. There was also a side of baked thin sliced potatoes, which were very tasty and fun to snack on. My husband had the California omelet with banana bread, which looked delicious and the banana bread was home made. Our bill came to $50, and the breakfast could easily be the meal of the day with uts generous portion. First timer at this 47-year-old restaurant. Went with a group of 8, and the server handled our table without a hitch. I was warned about the huge portions, but I still decided to have their Liberty Bell Omelet with just one pancake on the side. The side of pancakes was an entrée size, and the omelet was twice the size I am used to. It was delicious, but the banana bread that came along with my order pushed my limit over the top. A take-home box was needed. The place is in the older part of Las Vegas. The kind of place that is better visited during the day. Lots of parking, clean restrooms, and directional signs throughout the restaurant that guide you to the exit, restrooms, etc. All of which were needed in this maze of a place. Good food, huge portions, good prices and great service. We came at the right time as there was no line. They have signage as if the line does get long, but fortunately we sat right away. Visited 9/7/25 Sunday morning. No lines at around 10 AM but judging from the rope lines around the "mall", it looks sometimes it gets packed. This business is probably feeling the effects of decreased tourism to Vegas, which I hear is getting particularly bad in 2025. I hope this business doesn't suffer too much, since it's been around since the 70's and is also an amazing breakfast place. Atmosphere is 1970's kitsch with old 25 cent gumballs, stained glass, old photos on the wall and vintage figurines. I wish I had more time to enjoy all of the little things that make this place special. They boast the World's Largest Omelet. I ordered half a world's largest veggie cheese omelet and I was able to eat it all except for the potatoes and toast. Felt bad wasting it. It had a lot of cheese in it. Very filling Husband ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and a waffle. Very generous portions. Coffee was pretty good too. Service was quick and efficient. Wow hidden gem!!! What a great place. It's located in a strip mall you enter one way and exit another. They've got it down I was impressed! We had a great server also many people working filling coffee thank you we had a lovely time. I got the 2 eggs with spuds, thinly sliced potatoes, toast and ham steak with coffee. First I want to mention Concepción. She was a great waitress, she was attentive yet, not overly. It felt like a casual breakfast spot in Summerlin. It really was friendly. My omelet, wait, my 8 egg omelet, was so big.... It cover Hal the plate. The other half was filled with fresh Hashbrowns with so much flavor. Cheesy steak, shredded st steak with all the fix'ns topped with creamy cheese. So big I could not finish it. Ah but now I have dinner. We went here during the week and luckily it wasn't too busy yet. Waitress was telling me there's usually a line out the door. Our waitress was really nice and she explained the menu to us. Telling us there is usually are 45 different omelettes on the menu and telling us what's popular with the locals. These from Omelet House in Las Vegas are the new number one, upsetting a restaurant in Ottawa from 10 years ago. The Hollandaise sauce and grilled thin ham made it an excellent breakfast. Out of all our visits to this location this time was the worse and seriously thinking about not coming back, this was our favorite restaurant to come as a family after church but today was just not it. The place is located off of Charleston Blvd in a strip mall- the big yellow sign with the name is easy to see after you pass the hospital. The entrance is closer to the street side, once you park. You walk in and join the line on a busy day - if not busy you walk along the hallway to the counter. The ambiance is Eclectic filled with Raider Gear to Betty Boop! The omelets are always fluffy and stuffed with lobster and cheese and topped with cheese and avocado- and big enough for two. All of the Omelets are BIG and Yummy! We have gone here for over 20 years and it is always so good. The service is usually on top of orders and refills without asking they are there! This time the girl refilled everyone around us, didn't even bother to come to our table!!!! I had to ask her for a refill and the coffee was cold, the second time I asked, the waitress brought it and thankfully it was hot! This was a disappointment for me and sadly I'll think twice about going to this one! Maybe it was just an off day???? I met one of my best friends and her husband here, and we were immediately served delicious drinks by Roberto (Robert) "el Cubano." He was fantastic, smiling and effortlessly engaging with our humor. We each ordered something entirely different, and the portions were incredibly generous - flavorful and far from bland. Our water and coffee were frequently refilled, a huge plus for me as I hate waiting for refills. I'll definitely return. Once you get inside and find yourself in-line you'll understand the "mall" part of their name. Now the time in line signs are informative, reminded me of Disneyland. Wait time verses ride time...hum. Originally opened in 1979, it looks like all the original decor is still on the wall and I verified a lot of it is original with more added through the years. Valerie (not sure if I remembered it correctly) She was one of the "original" servers, just ask she knows what closet the skeletons are in and where the (intentionally left blank) can be found. She explained the...well all of it but that's for her to share with you, so plan your meal when it's not full on busy. I got a kick of the whole experience, old school days...with the original desks and teachers...too cool. I wondered why they haven't kept up with the times, you know flat screens, furniture, etc and I answered my own question..if it works don't fix it. There ya go. There is a lot to read on and digest the menu, read first digest later. M went with the Flap Special and with some help she finished it all. It was too late in the day for breakfast so I ordered the Chicken club with home potatoes. There are no fries or hash browns, just home potatoes or as I would call 'em fresh cut and cooked potato chips. Mind you not as thin and not as crispy. The menu says they use an 8 ounce chicken breast, I question that my patty was hammered flat and maybe 6 ounces on the bread. The good news is they cook fast bad news not juicy or tasty, nevertheless I completely ate the sandwich. Good enough for me. V explained that nearly everything is made in house, dressings, chili, soups, etcetera, and of course the breaded zucchini. It's also very clear there are "No Substitutes" if you want it it's a side order, deal with it, as I had too. I love places like this, it's genuine, the people working it, the food they serve, the love that's gone in to it all these years. Found this place by accident and what a good accident it was!! Ok so let me start off with this Restaurant is a little unorthodox on how to get in but we we're definitely up for an adventure!! It's inside of a little shopping mall/swapmeet/Thrift store kinda of place I'm sure if there was a line I would have shopped around but but luck there was no line and we were ordering to go. Services was Great by Sara and Daniel fast and easy. Just a heads up if you have cash you don't pay the 3% service fee for C.C.'s. The Omelet House has expanded and has a back area now with tables and chairs. The ambience and feel of the establishment does not exist in this area. The booths are small - should be for two people but they will seat 4 and it's uncomfortable for 3-4 adults. There is a ceiling decoration that has so much dust that I would caution people to be careful eating in that area. The spuds were good until you get to the bottom layer. That's where the undercooked, oily, and bruised potatoes reside. If you eat plant-based, don't go here. On a positive note, several employees were attentive and kept the coffee cup full. read more
