    Lobster ravioli

The restaurant is in a great location: Near Central park zoo. There's plenty of outdoor dining. Service is attentive. We got the lobster ravioli and curry shrimp with couscous and they were both delicious. The mezcal Negroni cocktail was very good as well.

Expensive, but worth it. The best salmon I've ever had. So juicy, fresh, very good. Good, quick service.

Nice place, sitting outside- they have 30 tables on the street The tuna was freshly made The Branzino was very good A little pricey but nice place to hang out

Focaccia my favorite starter to the meal!

Holiday time in NYC and stopping in here again for the fantastic thin focaccia filled with ripe tomato, arugula, Robiola Cheese then drizzled with white truffle oil. The sidewalk heated red tent was filled with lights and red decorations which struck an ideal festive mood. Excellent friendly service ,as always , makes for a great experience!

If I had one word to describe my dinner, it would be an enthusiastic "Meh!" Food was totally mediocre and fine. 5 star nursing home food, if you will. To echo the sentiments of many other reviewers, it is so overpriced it's borderline criminal. The bread was that five cent bread that restaurants sometimes give you in takeout orders. Soup tasted like a good, hearty Annie's canned tomato soup. The avocado salad was fine! I was expecting the most lavish, delicious, ginormous avocado salad, as it was $27. But nah. The focaccia flat bread was pretty good! Again, was it worth $33?!? Not in a million years. The $30+ penne bolognese was your average store bought pasta. It was a huge bummer to find out that none of their $30+ pastas were homemade (except for maybe the ravioli, but I could be wrong about that). Our service was great, and the servers were wonderful.

It feels like you stepped into a rustic little house that a family lives in. We really appreciated that they were playing Albanian music. The food is so filling and heavy so pace yourself. My husband and I shared the pepper dip and the baked cheese appetizers, which come with freshly baked bread. Seriously delicious. For entrees, I got the tava kosi, which is an egg dish with two pieces of lamb. Honestly I didn't love it. It's a LOT of egg. The lamb pieces were delicious, but I was already so full that I could only have one piece. I wish it had a bit less egg and a bit more other things, but I know this is their national dish. My husband got the qofte shari. It was perfect. Cooked so well, the meat was spiced uniquely, even the fries were great. I think I just ordered the wrong thing! I would seriously love to return and try another clay dish. We finished off the meal with Albanian coffee, which was like Turkish coffee, but smoother and better. All in all, left so happy and full. Service was so attentive, too. Go here for a unique meal in the cutest little restaurant.

The staff was extremely warm, kind and welcoming and a special shoutout to Irem who was amazing, gave us some great recommendations and took care of us throughout. I went for the $39 prix fixe brunch which is honestly such a great deal and comes with quite a spread. I had the muhammara, hummus, shakshuka and dessert and thoroughly enjoyed my coffee too. We also ordered the tuna Niçoise salad, which is by far the best I have had ever. One of my friends was accidentally served the wrong order and they immediately replaced it with the right one and made her meal completely complimentary, which was such a nice gesture and something we really appreciated. We also loved that nobody was rushing us and we could just sit, chat and enjoy our brunch. Great food, beautiful ambiance, wonderful hospitality and even the restrooms were spotless and very well maintained. Overall such a positive experience and easily a 5/5 for me.

We were lead upstairs to a table. There were 7 of us The seating was cozy but not cramped. We started with 7 family style small dishes: Hummus with Falafel Pops (chickpea purée, tahini, falafel, olive oil), Spring Burrata (roasted cherry tomatoes, toast, basil oil), Hamachi Crudo (passionfruit vinaigrette, citrus zest, cucumber, mint, sesame tuile), Scallops (carrot puree, serrano pepper, brown butter sauce), Tenderloin Skewer (zaatar chimichurri, fresh herb salad), and Shiitake Stuffed Grape Leaves (tomato coulis, yogurt foam, herbs). Everything was delicious. The hummus was well seasoned the falafel had a nice crunch. It went well with the warm puffy gyro bread that came to the table. The burrata was wasm and creamy. I love the vinaigrette on the fish. I ended up eating most of it. The scallops were the sweetest, most tender ones I have ever had. The tenderloin skewers were tender and well seasoned. I liked the grape leaves but the rice consistency was very soft almost mushy and you can barely tell there were mushrooms. There was barely any mushrooms flavor. Next we all chose an entree. I got the duck breast, my husband and daughter each had the beef tenderloin. The duck breast was smaller than i expected. The skin was nicely seared and very crispy but boy did it give my jaw a workout. It was done medium rare. It was juicy but tough. The small beef tenderloin was tender and smoky. The waiter poured the sauce over the tenderloin for added flavor. Finally dessert was a fruit plate with ice cream and pudding. The fruit was fresh and the flavors of the ice cream and pudding unique. It was a nice end to a good brunch. The price was a little expensive at $85 a person.
