My favorite is the penne pasta. It's like a vodka type of sauce with pieces of pork and it's delicious. The honey mustard chicken pizza is always a hit and I think the perfect amount of honey mustard. My sister enjoyed the chicken parm pizza and was sad to not be able to finish it. When you walk in you're greeted immediately, which is nice. We had a bigger party but we were seen right away and service was great! The menu is packed with all kinds of Italian delights but I was pizza'd out, so I ordered a cheesesteak. I got the one that said it was on garlic bread but this turned out to not be accurate, so that's where they lost one star . The sandwich had a thick garlic sauce on it which was almost like toum. Little local pizza place, open til 11 pm. Stopped in not long before closing. There were only a few kinds of pizzas and offered by the slice at that hour. But I got the Amato's Pizza which is their name for what NJ'ans call a grandma pie. Even if it might have been sitting for a while, it was pretty tasty. They also list desserts on the menu that you couldn't take a peek at them because they were not out on display. I got a cheesecake which I'm going to try later. (edited to add: because the desserts are not on display, I discovered when I opened the sealed package the next day, that the "New York cheesecake" had goopy raspberry jelly all over it. I would have picked something else! So ask them to show you the desserts before you try to order something, even if the folks at the counter are confused about where they are and have to ask someone in the kitchen!) Buffalo chicken pizza that was overcooked, even the chicken was dry,barely any Bleu cheese essentially it was cardboard with cheese ,a little bit of dried chicken and very little Bleu cheese. My son and I recently had a great experience at Amato's. Parking was easily found in the strip mall parking lot. The inside was clean, brightly lit, looked new and inviting. The long service counter had several slice pies nicely organized behind glass. From our table, they had a TV close by tuned in to the Phillies to help keep us company. Our server was friendly, checked up on us a lot and was on top of cleaning up her area. We ordered a fresh plain cheese pizza well done and it came out pretty quickly. The center was undercooked which led to quite a bit of flopping. We had to wait for it to cool down a bit more so the slices would firm up a bit and the cheese wouldn't be so runny. Once we dove in though we found it to have a perfect sauce/cheese ratio, sweet n seasoned sauce, cheese tasty/little sweet with a crispy crust. I had Amato's a long long time ago and I don't remember it being this good. Most of the diners at other tables were getting deep dish pizza and some pasta dishes. They all looked delicious. We included Amato's in a recent trip trying out multiple pizza shops in the area and my son and I both agreed that Amato's was a toss up with a couple other shops for best pizza around this area of Bucks County. When the "Amato" Brothers oned the place They had the BEST PIZZA in Levittown, NY state(neices&Nephew) and Florida (Brother) all were always looking for there 1st days visits because AMATO's PIZZA was the first meal down here. But NOT NOW!! NEW OWENERS should learn how to make a good pie before they try to sell them. Not enough extras when ordig them,canned mushrooms, put dabe of sauce on top of cheese in places to look like Pepperoni,till You got home. I went with my mom to Amato's for lunch one day and had SUCH a good "Orange Salad". The portions were very generous and actually fed me for 2 meals. My mom and I got a side of fries too, and they were super generous with those as well. The chicken in the salad tasted high quality and the orange that was in there tasted very fresh as well. Our waitress was really nice and food got served very quickly. Overall it was a really pleasant surprise, I liked it and would definitely come back again. My mom loved her food too. read more

Amato's has been a family favorite for MANY years now! Our next door neighbor (when I lived in Levittown, PA as a kid) worked there when she was in high school and would always bring us Amato's pizzas when she came home after her shift! We ALWAYS looked forward to it!! The pizza pies are consistently awesome with plenty of toppings and perfect crust! Nowadays when I visit the folks, we'll either order and pick up delicious Strombolis, Chicken Parm and pizza OR use a delivery service like Slice to deliver from Fairless Hills to Levittown. The ONLY thing that I would wish is that Amato's had their OWN delivery drivers instead of having to pay extra to use a 3rd party delivery service. But the quality of the food makes up for the added cost. read more

My sister suggested this pizza place to eat for lunch since it was rated so highly on Yelp. But for some reason everytime someone suggests a new place for me to try, I don't have the same great experience they have (it never fails). So we went with a group of 3 adults and 3 children (6 and 7 years old). We had to order at the counter, then wait to be seated, which to me was a little weird, cause I am used to being seated by someone right away, or ordering and finding your own seats. Okay so other than that they have a nice display of flavors of pizza, they have taco pizza, cheesesteak and cheese fries pizza, which I have never seen before. I went with a large cheese pizza to be on the safe side for the kids, and slice of cheesesteak pizza and an order of cheese fries. The cheese pizza tasted good and the kids really enjoyed it. The cheesesteak pizza was too soggy and I didn't like the way it tasted, definitely not worth 4 dollars a slice. I tried my friend's taco pizza, it was an interesting idea but wasn't a fan of it either, then I tried the bbq chicken pizza my sister had and it was okay. This place was very good, but new management completely destroyed it. I ate here for 40 years, and last night was the last time I ever will. The food that used to be great, is now average at best, but the worst part are the workers. They're very rude, and clearly do not know how to run a business. The former owner would be so sad to see what it has turned into. Last night, I ordered personal pizza. The girl told me $13.78, which is already a crazy price for a tiny 1-person pizza, but on top of that, they had the nerve to charge me more, for using my debit card, without even telling me! I got a Cheesesteak with the works. $8.80. I like this Cheesesteak. But I wish the extras, or in this case The Works, spent more time on the grill with the meat. The extras were nice big flavorful pieces but they overpower the rest of the sandwich a little. I think if they had spent more time on the grill with the meat getting to know each other and blending flavors this would have been a lot better cheesesteak. The roll was standard. Been going here since I was 2 years old, an I am now 47. Still the best pizza and cheesesteaks to be had. When my friends come to visit from anywhere outside of the area and want a "Philly cheesesteak," I tell them I won't be taking them to the trashy tourist trap cheesesteak spots in the city, but rather a place right in he burbs that puts to shame any cheesesteak in Philly itself. Our first night here we decided to go with something "simple" because we had spent the day driving and didn't want to think too much. Pizza works for all of us. We chose Amato's because they had the best reviews on DoorDash. We're from Boston so we weren't expecting to be knocked out of our shoes by some plain cheese pizza, but oh, were we wrong. Large cheese pizza. 10/10. Best pizza I've ever had. The kids agreed as well, and they're difficult to please. We vowed to try something new each night the rest of the time we're here. Tonight me and my husband got Indian food for us, and Amato's again for the kids (they all but demanded it). I still ended up having a couple slices while waiting for our Indian food to arrive. There's an old saying "pizza is like s&$ even when it's not good it's still pretty good " whoever said that has not tried amatos. Lived in the area most of my life and came back to visit family so we thought we'd finally try it. never tried this place. Pizza was some of the floppiest pizza I've ever had. The flavor was missing , and I mean that literally. Cheese had no bite , sauce had no flavor. Ordered cheesesteaks , again ... zero flavor. I've never had more bland uninspired food. We had a bunch of left over pizza and I've never in my life thrown away leftover pizza. But I made an exception in this case it was that flavorless and floppy. Usually I'll give a place the benefit of the doubt and give them a 2nd chance but this was bad enough to just forget about all together. Ok how long can a pizza place review be? Not long lol. Sunday night in the mood for a pizza and wanted to go to Acqua Farina in Newtown, but when I called them it went to a fax machine. So my GF recommend Amato's pizza in Fairless Hills. When we arrived there was plenty of parking and walked inside to a nice clean place with about 10 tables. We sat down and ordered the large Taco Pizza. As we were waiting, drones of people came in for take out and the phone was nonstop. Our pizza came and it was simply beautiful. When I bit into it, the crust was perfect the steak, cheese and ranch dressing complimented each other at just the right amount. The lettuce and tomato were crispy and fresh. Not gonna lie here people, I give this pizza a straight up 5 star and glad we did not go to Acqua's. Great job to Amato's hands down one of the best fresh and tasting pies I have had in a long time. This place is a BYOB and the large pie was $21. Well worth it. I will return. read more
