While I appreciate the difference between Joe Santucci's rectangular upside down pizza with mozzarella cheese baked under the dark red sauce, and traditional east coast round pies that put the cheese on top, I can't say that after picking it up to bring home that it is significantly better. I did like the somewhat thicker crust and pasty thick tomato sauce, but not more than the quality "Jersey" style pizza from joints like DeLorenzo's in Lower Makefield, or the Burg in Falls, to name a few others. I guess being suckled on Brooklyn and Trenton slices spoiled me for other conceptions. I just like the thinner crusted, basil flavored, chunky tomato sauced, creations, with the secrets of the dough mixed with softer water that flavors the crust with subtle cracker-like tones and texture. To my buds, the Trenton Pie is perfection, far superior to the upside down variation Philly is famous for. It's not that I don't enjoy this style once in a while, but given the choice, the ones from Trenton win every time. read more

Have always loved this pizza--took a break because I was ordering it so much I got tired of it. Ordered recently and what a difference--waited an hour, when it came pizza was cold and our drinks were missing. When I called about it, I was told that they use Uber drivers and that they did give the sodas to our driver. So our driver kept them. They did refund me for the sodas. Called today 9/1/24 and first question I asked was do they still use Uber drivers, was told yes so I said thank you and hung up. The pizza is good though if you do take a chance. read more

I've had Santucci's 15 years ago when the shop was open on Tyson ave and Whitaker Ave in Northeast Philly and I thought it was the worst pizza this Brooklyn born man has ever tasted I had to toss it in the trash . Recently I had a free slice of Santucci's last week at Falls township park and still I consider Santucci's to be the worst pizza no flavor at all I had to spit it out of my mouth. I'd rather starve than to eat Santucci's again. read more

Pleasantly surprised at how good the food was from here. Ordered a pepperoni pizza from here and man was it good. I learned later that this is NOT owned by Joe Santucci but a franchise. The service here was amazing and it's a great little convenient take out spot. If you've been jaded by the other Santuccis try this place. It will be worth the trip from NE Philly or anywhere else. Ordered take out last night and was very disappointed. My wife had pizza fries which came without the sauce, only had cheese. . I ordered bay fries and there was no bay seasoning in them at all, just plain fries. . I also ordered the sausage parm sandwich, which was made with very hot (spicy) sausage, which was not in the description. I also added green peppers and grilled onions, which the sandwich was missing the peppers. I paid for these items, paid extra for the green peppers and the bay fries cost more than the regular fries. Very unhappy and will most likely not be returning. Word of advice to the restaurant... take a quick minute and check the order. Not rocket science. read more

I can not say enough good things about Joe Santucci's! I have been waiting for them to come to the area for so long, and now that they're here, they have not disappointed! The staff is great, the pizza is delicious, and the delivery is super fast - every time I've ordered it has literally been delivered piping hot...And by a super friendly staff member! Delicious, just like the other Joe Santucci's square pizza joints in the area! I've been craving one of these pies for a while and now we have a spot opened up in the area. If you're not familiar, JS, offers a square pizza with the sauce on top of the cheese in a square"?" style crust. They have a huge following in Philadelphia and this location tastes just as authentic. I had noticed this location opening prior to the whole Covid 19 pandemic. We've finally decided to take a break from the home cooking and to get a pizza for take out. I'm so glad we decided to grab take out. Upon walking into JS, this location does appear to be take out only. I'm not sure how things will change when this pandemic blows over or not. The crust is thick but not doughy and not too crispy either, just perfect! You can pull a slice out of the box and it's able to support itself without falling limp to spill the sauce and toppings. We ordered pizza, with pineapple and no cheese, as well as French fries (crinkle cut). I'm generally not a fan of crinkle cut, but I would get these again for sure because they were awesome!So thankful to have an authentic Philly Pizza Jawn in the area. read more

Santuccis is the best! Their pizza is delicious as well as their cheesesteaks! I am curious to try other entrees but the pizza is so good, we keep coming back for the same food. We have been going to the Santucci's in Phila for years and the fairless hills location is just as good. No one seems to know about Santucci's up in bucks county but I'll keep passing the word! read more

First time trying their pizza and unfortunately, it will be our last. Can't believe we just paid $20 for greasy crust loaded with sauce. Where's the cheese? And better yet, where's the rest of the pizza? For a large, it was tiny. We should have gone with our usual pizza place instead. Oh well, lesson learned. read more

Some of the best tasting pizza you'll ever have In Your life. The sausage alone which you won't find other pizza places having, is one of a kind and a must to add as a topping. The prices are high but the food is delicious. Some people are intimidated by sauce on top/cheese on bottom but when it melts right it just does. Chicken Parm sandwich is delicious as well. The old location (which was in the same parking lot but smaller) was definitely slightly better and had less of a menu so they focused on making the food delicious. Still it's a top pizza place to check out with no disappointments. read more

I was so excited. But this crust and sauce are not the same. It was terrible. One bite of a large provolone pizza ($26.00) and the rest hit the trash! The square pizza should be very crunchy and light. It was dry thick heavy and horrible. I felt like I was eating pizza crust from California it was so bad. read more

Heard about it tried it never again. Ordered a small Works pie last week. When I went to pick it up the workers (Kids in the back making all kinds of noise goofing around). Got home opened the box and nothing but a greasy square pie with mushrooms that were frozen. Couldn't even see or taste the cheese if there was any. One of the worst Pizzas I ever had. Just as great as I remember growing up in Philly, but WOW, so expensive for a neighborhood joint, strip mall location without the overhead of seating or servers. Large pizza, one topping, cheesesteak and a couple orders of fries, $42. That's right. $42. These can't be the permanent prices, can they? The cheesesteaks at $9.50 are 2 bucks more than every other cheesesteak in the area. The pizza is 5 bucks more. C'mon guys. Where do you think you are? Not O and Lewis Streets, that's for sure. read more
