The Shrimp Tempura arrived extremely hot, which made it difficult to eat right away, but unfortunately it lacked a bit of seasoning and flavor. The Shrimp and Grits was definitely one of the standout dishes of the night. It arrived piping hot and full of flavor. I actually burned my mouth taking the first bite because it was served so fresh, but overall it was delicious. The Oxtail with Mac and Cheese was another enjoyable combination. The oxtail had a good traditional flavor, although it did not include beans. My only complaint was that the portion size felt small for the price. My husband ordered the steak and fries, which was fine but nothing particularly memorable. As for drinks, the cocktails were overpriced, and surprisingly the mocktails felt even more expensive for what they offered. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try dessert. Once our dining time was up, our waitress brought the check without asking if we wanted dessert to-go. She appeared focused on assisting another table, so it gave the impression that once your time is over, it's time to leave. Overall, while there were a few dishes I truly enjoyed -- especially the Shrimp and Grits -- I personally would not return for dine-in considering the pricing and time restrictions.
