I've been seeing this restaurant quite a bit because I tend to go next-door to PHO 76. The reviews seem to be mixed bag here. I wanted to try it myself so decided to swing by today for some Thai food. It's very clean inside with Christmas decorations still up. The lady was friendly and brought us waters and menus and asked if we had any questions. I have been craving chicken pad Thai so I went with that and my dining partners ordered Lad na with beef and shrimp and flat noodles with tofu and vegetable. Sodas are $1.85. And Thai tea is $4.50. I actually really enjoyed the Thai tea. It wasn't as sweet as other places and It had a very creamy flavor to it. As far as my dish, I thought it had really good flavor profile, it wasn't too sweet and it wasn't spicy at all. My only gripe is I didn't really get that much chicken and I don't like to fill up on just noodles because that's empty calories and not as satisfying. Next time I will probably order extra chicken with an up charge. I sampled the other two dishes and they had good flavors as well. Nothing tasted bland here. Pricing is also on the lower end compared to other similar establishments, and the menu is quite varied, but with a lot of traditional Thai dishes. Was craving pork belly and according to their menu, they had some! Have never been here before, so hubby and I decided to give it a try. Hubby ordered the garlic chicken and I ordered the pork belly sub with sticky rice and papaya salad. Hubby's dish was good but not great. Pork belly was good but the sauce that came with it wasn't, unless you like super sour. Same with the papaya salad, i couldn't taste anything else but the sourness. Service was good. I've been to Amazing Asian Kitchen a few times, located in Mckinley and Chestnut here in Fresno, CA. The owners are older people, and you have to be patient and understanding while waiting for your food. Here at Amazing Asian Kitchen, the portions and price were on point compared to other restaurants, but some of their dishes were a bit lacking in the Laos/Thai Unami that I'm craving. 4/5 Good The owners were nice and accommodating. 3/5 Ok The chicken pad Thai was a bit on the salty side today; last time I had it, it was perfect for dine-in, and it has that tangy, sweet tamarind flavor. 2/5 Bad I ordered a combo Pad Se Ew; the price and portions were on point, but the unami and smell left me throwing in the towel after 3 bites. When you have two other competitions in the same plaza, it's hard to compete if you're selling identical dishes. Let's face the facts: sometimes we go out to eat, and we're going to have one of those hit-or-miss days. Even though some of the foods at Amazing Asian Kitchens are hit or miss, I enjoyed the owner's small chit chat and hospitality enough for me to come back for just that itself. This is the second time we have ordered from this restaurant. I had to share because the selections we chose were delicious and not very spicy at all. I am a big "wooz"about too hot and spicy foods. So fellow diners these are great selections that are not too spicy. We tried the drunken noodles (Pad see eaw) with chicken and asparagus. The Chinese broccoli with roasted pork was also very good. The pineapple fried rice was delicious. It came with chicken, shrimp, cashews, raisins and onion. I could really taste the great spices and coconut milk. It was delicious! Friendly staff. Clean inside. I tried their Thaiboat Noodle Soup. The broth is not really my cup of tea. There's a bit of weird sweet aftertaste in it. My husband and I were looking for a place to eat and it's been difficult since some places it seem had been closing early. This place closes at 9 and we were driving pass the area so decided to try. Haven't been to one of the OG Asian restaurants and sanitation is always in the back of my head. We arrive 45 mins before they close and as we entered there was no one there until someone came out to greet us and said they can still serve us. We dined in looked other the menu. They gave us water and plates with utensils which I alway inspect. Especially if they don't use disposable utensils. And immediately I noticed the fork was dirty and asked for a new one. We ordered chicken pad Thai, egg rolls, large rice order and Tom yum seafood. The food came out about less than 10mins. The eggroll were regular veggies that looked like there were the frozen kind. The Tom Yum was a disappointing, the soup had a very sweet flavor to it. Most Tom Yum we've had are usually sour it was loaded with sea food but the fish inside was questionable since it tasted old. The only thing that was actually really good which was surprising because of how plain it looked was the pad Thai. The lady never come back to check on us and never got a refill on our waters so my husband up going to the counter with our cups to ask for a refill. She also ended up charging us the wrong order but she fixed it. Overall not impressed. Definitely short of "Amazing" most likely won't return. read more

Food has become so so. Would order for pickup on the way home when my office was down the street. Now that I don't work in the area, I've Doordashed food and it's always hit or miss now. Tonight was the final order for me though. A simple crispy pork belly and rice (to go with a stir fry of veggies I had) was what I ordered. The pork belly was not cooked enough. The skin was not crispy, was chewy and sticky where it stuck to our teeth making us not want to eat it anymore.
