This is by far the closest restaurant that serves delicious authentic Lao/Thai food. Everything tastes exactly like a home cooked meal. The ambiance's beautiful they have paintings and chandeliers that look like a thip khao! The service was 10/10! the owner is so sweet and I'll come back again for sure!

Wow, just wow. This place has so much flavor! Just atmosphere, nice people, and just a fun place to grab a bite to eat. I went here for an event and just The spring rolls were tasty. Perfectly fresh crisp lettuce, fresh mint, and fresh perfect noodles. I can't say enough of fresh and tasty these were. The peanut sauce was rich and think with a slight sweet flavor. Very nice. The bao buns, has crispy bread, with a I nice mix of veggies, and this tasty sweet sesame mayo that ties it all together. The sausages were my favorite. I was amazed at how many herbs and flavors they managed to pack in a single sausage. But it was incredible. The service was great, because the owner helped us. She's kind and just happy to host. Honestly, this place was so good, I just can't wait to go back.

If you love Southeast Asian food, you have to try this restaurant! The location is excellent, with plenty of parking available. The servers I encountered were all extremely friendly and helpful with recommending menu items. This restaurant is casual and the ambience pays tribute to street vendors you'd experience in Southeast Asia. I ordered the crispy pork belly, chicken red curry, sticky rice, and soft shell crab fried rice. All of items were delicious! The standout of the meal was the crispy pork belly, it was complimented by a spicy, vinegar based sauce. I'm so happy that Fresno has these amazing restaurants that offer a glimpse of the beauty of other countries & cultures. This is what makes America great!

Gold platter! $100 super worth it.

Shout out to the owner for accommodating our large group in such short notice. I've tried their food once for take out and I was already impressed with their food. Staff was great and food came out really fast! We ordered the gold platter, that fed all 16 of us. Even had left overs. I ordered their kao piak, Thai boat, nam khao, tom kueng nai (innard soup), raw beef laab, calamari, meatball pho and tom yum soup. Everything was pretty tasty. The platter we order, I honestly wish there was more papaya salad. The papaya was good but it wasn't the lao style I wanted and it was very skimpy, lots of meat and everything else but papaya could be more and spicer and funkier. Kao piak taste good , thai boat was ok, the innard soup was kind of bland and wasn't a little bitter like I asked and a small is really a small soup bowl. Tom yum broth was great. Pho was good. Nam khao and the raw beef laab were my favorite but the nam khao was one of the best things we ordered. It's really hard to find a good tasting, crispy not soggy nam khao around Fresno and here it really hit the spot! I didn't get pictures inside because I was too hungry and there was a lot of people dining in. Inside is like a open kitchen you can see everything and the walls had paintings of Laos, love that. Restrooms are clean. Everything was great , it is pricey though compared getting the same type of food on my side of town. Overall it's yum!

Lunch combo, $20 for lunch size choice of protein (crispy pork belly) with Thai style papaya salad and comes with a side of sticky rice

Service is really good and friendly. Clean, nice decor and ambiance. Food is well seasoned and price is suitable considering location of Fresno. Pad Thai is a red tamarind base style. Crispy pork belly was perfectly cooked, love that the combo also comes with sticky rice. Beef larb was perfectly seasoned, a little heavy on toasted rice powder but it comes down to preference, still refreshing and balanced. Just wished it also came along side with a wedge of cabbage.

I just spent a lot of time in Thailand and when I got home I started a mission to find authentic Thai food. Mostly boat noodles and mango sticky rice. This was my first stop on this quest. I ordered the boat noodles, crispy pork and papaya salad. Don't get me wrong. The food here is really good. But it just didn't hit that mark for me. For American Thai food this place is soooo good. The staff is great and place is nice and clean. Very modern. Price is a little on the higher side. I paid $20 for boat noodles. But then again I have to remember that I am back home. The boat noodles missed the mark but overall was a good dish. It was fresh and a decent portion. The pork was really good. Cooked perfectly and had a nice crunch. The papaya salad was fresh and was the tasty. Really spicy which I enjoyed. I will be back because they had other items I wanted to try

This is my 2nd time trying this place and the food makes me feel at home. I came here on a Saturday for lunch with my aunt and cousins. We had 1 toddler as well. It was busy but we were able to get seated pretty fast. We ordered: Papaya salad platter Khao Poun Lao Pho Pad Si Ew Drunken Noodles/Pad Ki Mao All the food was really good. You can't go wrong with any of the pan fried noodle dishes. Soup is good all year round (even when it's hot). The papaya salad platter had a little bit of everything so that was nice. A good appetizer for a table of 4. The place is casual. Waiters were busy so it did take a while for us to get our bill and check out. I love that this place is near River park (just across blackstone). Will for sure be going back.

Grilled chicken is so flavorful and juicy, even without the dipping fish sauce
    Nicole L.

This place makes the best grilled chicken thighs, so juicy and flavorful. I've gotten takeout twice here and eaten in once. Their food is always fresh and hot, even when you order it to go. The only problem is the food gets so hot is that it melts the little containers that hold the fish sauce so sauce builds all Over the food inside the big container. Perhaps they should put a piece of foil around the sauce containers to minimize the leaking. Service is always very nice and efficient, over the phone and in person. Ambience is family friendly; nice and clean place to eat.

    The $100 platter

The vibes are 10/10, but the food is a 2/10. For a $100 platter, I expected better than lukewarm meat and frozen-quality vegetable eggrolls. Everything felt like it had been sitting under a heatlamp for a while before being served. Even the sauces were all mild. Even the papaya salad lacked the heat I asked for. This is "Lao food for beginners", it lacks the bold, authentic flavors you'd expect from a true Lao kitchen. Beautiful space, but I won't be back for the food.

    Basil chicken fried rice

Went to this Thai place on a Saturday just because it was close by and absolutely loved it. Our server was really sweet which made the experience even better. I started with spring rolls, fried nicely with a sauce that had a kick. Then I got Panang curry, which usually comes with white rice but I replaced it with basil chicken fried rice, and it was delicious. The panang curry had baby corn and I loved it! Also, both the Pad Kee Mao and Pad See Ew were absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. The chicken was amazing, unlike at many Thai places where it's bland and feels like they just warmed up boiled frozen chicken and tossed on to the dish, here it was really flavorful and complemented the dish perfectly. The pad see ew at spicy level 4 was perfectly spicy, and again the chicken had great flavor. The pad ke mao had lots of perfectly cooked veggies and a strong basil taste which I loved! The Tom Yum soup came in a hot pot and was incredible, full of mushrooms, veggies, and fresh cilantro. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right.

I was craving Southeast Asian food and stumbled across Na Nah Thong. Their decor is modern and full of Thai and Laotian culture. Service was very slow, but our waitress was kind and friendly. We ordered the Pad Thai, Tom Kha, the roasted chicken and the Panang curry. The Pad Thai was incredible, one of the best in Fresno. Super flavorful and rich- I almost ordered another plate. The Tom Kha was light and bright, with the coconut milk and lime leaves. The roasted chicken was fantastic when paired with their dipping sauce. However, the Panag curry was incredible salty. I have never tasted such a salty curry before, and I could only take two bites before taking it to go in order to dilute it at home. Overall, great food (save for the Panang curry) and friendly staff.

Celebrated my birthday here with yelpers. The space is airy and open, more upscale and modern than your typical Lao/thai whole in the wall. Soda is served in a can. I would prefer fountain. They offer different types of milk tea drinks and even Sake. I split the $55 platter with my friend, Sisy. It was beyond worth it! It could honestly feed 4 people even though it's meant for 2. You also get sticky rice baskets with it. Everything was flavorful. Because I'm not a spicy girl the papaya salad was made mild. It was very tasty and not too fishy. Spring rolls, Lao sausage and chicken were delicious and my fave items. The sausage was a tad bit spicy so I can only eat a little piece but it was great nonetheless. They brought me and Sis cheesecakes with a lit candle and sang to us. Service was on the slower side due to the heavy foot traffic during that time. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I will come back for that platter!

The restaurant is a popular destination for Lao comfort food staples such as laap salad (available with pork or chicken), egg rolls, papaya salad, khao poon, khao piak, Lao sausage, and their signature fried chicken with sticky rice plate. There is also the convenience of freshly prepared and packaged meals to go, with all orders placed, picked up, and paid for at the counter. The Spring Rolls, filled with shrimp and BBQ pork, were a bit bland and lacked a true wow factor. The filling could have benefited from more aromatic depth with fresh basil or mint instead of primarily shredded lettuce. The peanut dipping sauce was also too watered down and missing the rich, nutty flavor typically expected. The Pork Laap, on the other hand, was excellent. Fresh cilantro and chopped green onions were tossed in just before serving, adding bright, herbaceous notes that balanced the richness of the pork. The ground pork itself was incredibly tender with a flavorful balance of fresh herbs, zesty citrus, and savory umami depth. It was accompanied by a generous wedge of lime to squeeze over the meat, adding even more brightness. The Lao Sausage was another standout. This aromatic, herbaceous pork sausage featured a snappy, blistered exterior with a juicy, textured interior. The rich, fatty pork was balanced beautifully by fragrant traditional aromatics such as lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal, cilantro, and green onions, all of which exploded with flavor. The Mango with Sticky Rice perfectly showcased the harmony of its three essential components: perfectly ripe sweet mango, warm chewy sticky rice with a subtle salty-sweet balance, and a rich, velvety coconut cream drizzle. I also loved the Cassava dessert, and I imagine any of the Chè (traditional Vietnamese sweet soups) available in the refrigerated section would be excellent choices as well. Whether prepared with chilled coconut milk, warm coconut-banana pudding, or lightly sweetened syrup with water chestnuts, boba, or jellies, they all looked incredibly appealing. A C Deli remains a popular choice for fast, flavorful Southeast Asian comfort food. The dishes are inexpensive, freshly prepared, and packed with authentic flavor.
