This is a public service announcement: Sooo, I've been getting my lashes done at Amazing Lash Studio in Elk Grove for a while now but I call today to get a touch up $30 and was told that I can't because I am outside of the 10 day timeframe and I must get a refill at $60!!! GTFOH!!!! My contract amount of $60 will come out Jan 30th and my regular refill appt is Feb 3rd, another $60. They always trying to get more money from the customers that are in contract and keep the business running. I made an appointment online for their promotional rate $89.99 and chose the natural lashes. I ended up paying $144 which was shocking to me. My lashes lasted just 7 days, I had to call them back and request a second opinion and change my fill appointment from Michelle to "Master" stylist. After expressing my concern and issues with the person to spoke to over the phone she was not compassionate, she did not offer me any kind of compensation. I am completing this review months after I cancelled my membership. Initially I was paired with a stylist that did not do a good job. The lashes were already falling off the same day and did not last even after following directions of what not to do. After informing the receptionist I was paired with more experienced stylist. I enjoyed having long lashes for a year however the downside was not able to rub eye when itchy. My membership lasted approximately 16 months and I think for any type of membership that time frame is sufficient. I gave the company 4 stars based on their professionalism and cleanliness. One opportunity to the business..... ensure your stylist and receptionist have the same information. Lynn is amazing! Not only is she a great stylist but she's sweet as pie. I showed up for refill appointment with about three lashes on each eye. Totally not a refill. Not only did she stay late for me but she did amazing. I never felt like she was rushing and I was totally at ease. Brittney was nice and gentle. However, I didn't like her work. The lashes were glued on at different angles. Even after I brushed them they remained criss-cross. In addition, she wouldn't let me get the long length or thicker lashes because it wasn't recommended or part of the introductory offer of the full set of lashes. If that was the case, it should have been specified that you can only get a particular set of lashes for the introductory offer. Personally, I think she just wanted to do whatever she felt most comfortable working with. I was hoping to be a regular customer but after this first impression I will have to go back to my previous lash place. read more

Ok but the lashes did not last very long. Most of the extensions had fallen out by 1 week and many of them were not attached to my lashes. I don't know what kind of adhesive they use but it didn't seem to work well for me. I was very disappointed. read more

I Love-Love-Love my Lashes!!! This is my first time ever getting Lash extensions and I was not sure Lash extensions were my thing. I am now hooked. The staff at Amazing Lash Studio Elk Grove were amazing. I was a little worried about the whole experience and the staff there put my mind at ease within minutes. They were professional, friendly, very informative and accommodating. It did take about 2 hours to get my full set done but I am told the fills will only be about an hour. Amazing lashes Elkgrove took money out of my checking account without authorization. I went in there one time and they must've gotten my debit card number and took over $119 I talked to Lily on the phone about speaking to the manager the manager didn't have time to talk to me. Now I have to deal with my bank and their dispute department. And have to get a new debit card during the holidays thanks amazing lashes Elk Grove . I want to start out by saying all the girls that work there are super nice! I went here last week and got the gorgeous look. I followed the aftercare as it said and the next day the lash extensions on my left eye just started falling out sometimes two at a time. I called and they offered a complimentary touch up. I went in the next morning and my lashes looked gorgeous. Now a week later and after following the aftercare strictly, because I paid $80 plus a $20 tip and a $10 tip so the girl can fix them, the lashes are falling out on both sides. It's just the extensions without lashes that are falling out. This can't be blamed on my lash cycle. I wish I could get a refund because I did not get the full potential out of them. I don't know if it's the type of glue they are using or what. It just sucks because I take care of them like I'm supposed to and they are just falling out. All I want is my money back. read more

I suggest not coming here and save yourself some time and money. Coming here, I felt pressured to sign their membership, and buy their aftercare products for the lashes. It was my first time doing lashes and at my second visit I was due for a 2 week "touch up". I came in yesterday, and they said they would charge me another $89. Ridiculous, right? (AndI paid 89 at my first visit for a full set) My appt was at 10:30 I was there 10:10, I wasn't seen until 10:50am, later to be told by the specialist that she's not able to see me because she's "behind schedule" and she can only work with one eye, not both so she recommended that I reschedule. There are so many other lash extensions available in the area, and I'm glad I've found a different lash specialist who's keen on having the perfect lashes. :) read more

The only reason I'm even giving this 2 stars is because for about 4 days, I did receive a few compliments on my eyelash length. When I first went in for my appointment, I was very excited. It took me over a year to convince myself that it could be worth spending over 100 dollars on eyelashes, but Amazing Lash Studio was having a $75 special for me clients. This place almost convinced me never to get eyelashes again. It started when I called and booked for the day of my bf's birthday, and made it clear that we had special plans that night, and I wanted to look amazing. So I arrive for my appt (early morning), and they give me a pamphlet with (barely even in the door) their monthly membership prices and the FOUR styles of eyelashes they attach. I have naturally short, straight eyelashes, and am clearly no expert, so I ask for recommendations. The girl at the front desk tells me hers are more natural, but she doesn't know what would work for me (fair enough, she doesn't apply the lashes). She explains what's going to happen, and tells me I expect to be there around 2 hours, which was fine, I had researched and set aside 2-3 hours just for this. So she takes me in the restroom around the corner to thoroughly wash my eyelashes with their "special soap" aka, eyeball acid. I get out, eyes on fire, and meet with the "lash expert". I explained to her the same thing as the girl up front about my lashes, and told her I wasn't sure what would work best for me, and I'd like her opinion. She was actually really helpful in choosing!!! NOT. Nice girl, but didn't really seem to care about making sure I got lashes that I was happy with. So she sets me up with the length and style that "everyone who doesn't know starts with" and tells me if I don't like it, they can switch it up when I come back for my fill 4-6 weeks later (that should have been a red flag that I wouldn't like it). So she lays me down on the bed, and starts the procedure by taping down my bottom lashes. Well, it took several tries, because she kept poking my eye with the tape and I was uncomfortable. When she finally got it to a place where I could manage the sting, she told me to relax and she began applying the eyelashes. I was in the room for a little over 45 minutes (not the expected 2 hours). When I was done, she had me check over my eyes (I still have no idea what I was looking for). I immediately wasn't thrilled, but I figured it was something I just wasn't used to. My eyelashes looked droopy, especially in the outer corners. I assume this was because the wet glue was heavy, because by day 3 they started to lift more. The lash expert walked me out to the front and went over aftercare with me (which means they "highly recommend for the best results) buying ALL THEIR PRODUCTS), and not wearing eye makeup for at least 48 hours (mind you I was CLEAR when I said I was going out that night, so obviously I wanted makeup, so why didn't they tell me BEFORE going in that it wasn't allowed?) Anyway, I stupidly purchased the soap for the lashes, because that was "super essential to wash my lashes twice a day". I'm sorry, but to me that kinda contradicts the whole low maintenance thing, but I complied, thanked her and went to settle my bill. I was immediately asked if I wanted to sign up for the monthly membership, which (on top of the membership fee) entitled you to a discounted fill per month. I declined, because I wanted to see how I'd feel constantly wearing falsies. Let me tell you, I am SO GLAD I didn't get the membership. I would have been paying for a weekly fill. They looked great, for day 3-5. My eyelashes, my very expensive eyelashes that were supposed to last 4-6 weeks, lasted 8 DAYS. W.T.F. I did not call to make another appointment, because a new full set would cost me $250, and that's just crap for the quality of this place. I am VERY unhappy with my experience here, and definitely will never be returning, nor will I recommend anyone go here. read more
