I have visited Amazing Lash in Meyer Land as well as Westheimer and was disappointed by both. After I had driven across town and taken time off from work they rescheduled my appointment at the last minute. I had originally scheduled the appointment with my daughters as birthday prep. and was looking forward to the experience. When I arrived, Iwas ask to reschedule to later date leaving my daughters and I would be accommodated with a discount. For a second time, I took time from work and was given 10 bucks off as a discount, but was told if I no showed I would be charged $25.oo. Sadly, after all of the scheduling mix up, I still had to go back for correction the following day. While explaining my experience to the manager and owner, neither apologized. On 4/29/15 I Granted a second chance to a different location and visited the Westheimer store and was greeted by a hot and stuffy lobby/session, the AC was out. When checking out, I waited 15 minutes as my account had not been set up and the clerk had no idea of what to charge me. With all that being said, my experience with amazing Lash was not so amazing and has left a bad taste in my mouth. In addition to the scheduling issues, repeat visits, heated services, and poor operations the person that referred me never got her $30 for the three-person referral. Amazing Lash has great stylist, but not so amazing operations and has lost three faithful customers. read more

I can't really review their service since my requests for information have gone unanswered.

I wish I could give this place 5 stars but I can't. As far as the eyelashes themselves, awesome work ladies!! However, as far as how money, customer service, management, and communication are concerned, they are atrocious. I had an experience where I was given false information from one of the girls at the front giving me a price that was to fit within my refill window only to have it changed at the time of checkout for them to say I owed full price. After being talked to very ugly by one of the girls at the front, I held my subscription for 2 months and was supposed to be contacted by the manager Emma. Two weeks went by and never heard a thing. I ended up calling her and she gave me the excuse that she was busy and out of town but left a voicemail with me which was a lie because of the 3 phone numbers they have, not even ONE showed up on my caller ID, voicemail, or phone bill. The manager there Emma refused to give me her boss's contact information when I asked because she was unable to address my concerns. She said she would pass my message on to her boss which she never did as I was never contacted. She grew very agitated and nervous and kept saying "there was nothing they could do" and rushed me off the phone. There are some real issues with communication, customer service, and money management that need to be addressed. If u choose to go there ur lashes will look great but I would watch your pocket book closely because they will screw u over. I'll never go back and have moved all 18 of my dance girls to another location as well. Bad management can cost you a lot of money. UPDATE (In response to the salon's commentary): I am a client in your database and only used your Meyerland location. My last name is Bowler and I can be contacted by the information listed in your system. I will once again try calling the salon to see what, if any, resolution will be offered however, with the same management in place I am not optimistic a solution will be reached. Very DISAPPOINTED with this location. This was my first time ever getting my lashes done anywhere. My first reaction of this location from the start I will give it a 5 because of their very friendly vibes. My technician was very friendly, petite, she was short, with short hair and she was Vietnamese. Once we entered the room my 5 star service went to a 4 reason why because the table was not properly clean there were lashes in the table from previous costumer. Which I didn't mentioned anything to her. Also she never once asked me if it was okay to bring someone with her (she was training someone else) into the room while getting my lashes done. Not only that at the beginning I didn't mind for her to be training but keep in mind I am a new costumer and you want to give good service and treat them good so they can return right?! In this case I was already in the table with my eyes close. My technician was talking nothing but Vietnamese with the other worker I am assuming about what she was doing with my lashes. Then I hear the door open and felt someone walking into my room while getting my lashes done. It was another employer in my room, which again was not told I will have two extra people in my room. At this time I couldn't open my eyes because they were shut close to get my lashes. So I didn't think nothing to it. Then I heard a cell phone went off in the middle of my treatment. The last employee that entered my room answered her call and started having a full conversation. Tell me how is that comfortable or how can I be relaxed while getting my treatment? Not only that but once she finished her conversation someone walked in and out my room 3 times and you can only hear the door open, close and foot steps close to you very annoying by the way. Once the technician was done and it was time for me to open my eyes no one else was in the room but her. So regarding me getting educated about my lashes I wasn't educated like I should had, if I didn't asked questions I would of not known what to do. The technician and the receptionist told me my lashes should last for 4 weeks. Let me tell you, this was not the case here I have 2 weeks and 90% of my lashes came off already which I am beyond DISAPPOINTED!!!! especially because this lashes weren't cheap! Literally go ANYWHERE ELSE. I'm a single mom and I have never gotten eyelash extensions done, but it's something I've always wanted to do, but it's hard to find extra $ and time for myself. I finally got a babysitter last minute and was really excited reading reviews, making calls, I read the reviews for this place- a lot of women were giving shout outs to a technician named "Lee" and gave pricing for new customers at $80. I call and ask for any available appointments with Lee, the receptionist informs me no there aren't I must have the wrong location. -Cool, that's fine, what's the soonest available appointment open for new customers? She informs me it would be at 3:10 (3 hours from then) and it would be $140, so $60 More than what I saw online. I mention this to her, she let's me know well since you mentioned a specific technician you are clearly a returning customer from a different location-like I'm trying to pull one over for a lower price and she's so so smart she caught me. First off, even if that was the case, (and it wasn't you were rude and wrong 100%) you don't lie to a potential client about pricing just because you jumped to a negative conclusion. What if I had been there before? Maybe I'm making an appointment for a friend and want her to have my technician. Or maybe I READ REVIEWS online you confrontational angry little receptionist. She doesn't sound the least bit embarrassed or apologetic when I inform her the only reason I know this name is from the reviews online, and snidely agrees "um well yeah in that case it technically WOULD be $79.99" You lied and called ME a liar. STILL I end up making an appointment and book with a card that has no money on it because I couldn't find my other one. I continue looking for other places because the receptionist was such a twat muffin. I called back FIFTEEN MINUTES after booking to cancel an appointment THREE HOURS away still-she tells me they are going to have to charge HALF. Ahaaa no you're not. I said no you're not charging me anything you called me a liar and gave me different pricing even when I told you I was new. "Well we have a strict no cancellation..."-thats great I don't care. You're the reason I didn't want to go there. I told her to go ahead and charge it because there wasn't shit on the card anyway-oopsies. I sincerely hope you get fired. You were rude and looking for a reason to be a bitch even when you were wrong. I was polite even when you gave me false pricing, up until you tried to charge me $40 for 15 minutes. I have had my Eyelashes done before. I kind of knew what to expect going in. This was something totally different. The technician was in a hurry, I could tell, to finish my extensions. She was very rough on my eyelids. The glue is extremely strong. I think she used more than necessary and wasn't careful. So for a procedure that supposed to take two hours, my lady finished in one hour. My lashes look OK, they are not as full as I would like them to be. The next day however, my eyes were bloodshot red which didn't happen before. I believe it's because she used so much glue. I could also feel my eyelashes the next day which wasn't like before. I would not sign up for membership. It's not relaxing, it hurts and my eyes burn for a day so for me it isn't worth it. I would rather pay a little bit more money and not feel like my eyelids are being wrestled with for an hour and my eyes feel like they're on fire from excessive glue, it's kind of like torture. Again, I had this done before with another lady not related to Amazing lashes.It was in no way painful. My eyes did not burn the way they did this time. Also I did not 'feel' my eyelashes like I do this time. They were very light previously. I think the excessive glue is why I feel them much more this time. Update**** My eyelids started to feel normal after 2-3 days. I have sensitive eyes, so I don't think this place is for me. If your eyes are not sensitive, you prefer a quick appointment (I was informed that 1 hour is about their standard time for full set), and you are on a budget, this place could work for you. For those with sensitive eyes, try it, but wait 24 hours to buy a membership to see how your eyes feel the next day. I am upgrading my stars to 3 instead of 1, because they did follow up with me. I will never give this business my money ever again. I had a membership for 5 months and decided to cancel because the quality of the lashes were just not good. The lashes look really good the first week but after that they begin to go in different directions even after brushing them. They also fall out very easily. If I gently touch them a lash will definitely fall off. Every time I made an appointment I had to choose a different lash tech. I thought it was the lash technician but it has to be the quality of the lashes because I've had the same problem every time I got them done. Let me start by saying I have had a WONDERFUL experience when I was getting my lashes done by CATLASH (to bad they are located in NY) I have given this location (Meyerland) several "tries" to get it RIGHT but to no avail. The first session my lashes were as stiff as a burnt board. It felt like it had some old mascara burnt onto it or something. I received a call from Amazing Lash to see how the apt went. The person who called did not remember my name by the time I picked up the phone all she could say is umm, ummm, ummm, wait, ok, sorry, I am looking for... I explained to her my issue with the lashes only to hear her giggling in the background. The second time (first refill) I asked for lashes that were softer; these only lasted for less than 24 hours before the proceeded to FALL OFF. Now this company is taking $50 OUT OF MY ACCOUNT EVERY MONTH for a half ass shitty job. I will not be tipping anymore of these stylists. Take my advice, if you can go somewhere else...save yourself the headache. read more

I had my first full set applied today. It was a relaxing process and I actually fell asleep for awhile. It does take some time, so come prepared to take a cat nap. Zero stars!! In a rush effort to get my lashes done for the first time before my destination wedding I really thought going to a place that is advertised so much would be a good idea. Not knowing what to expect I called 3 times asking questions about the process and also making it clear that this was for my wedding! Of course I heard the reassurance that all was going to be fine. When I arrived I felt rushed by the receptionist to pick what I wanted out of a line up of lashes. She told me glamorous was the way to go for wedding pictures. First of all if you ever do book, which you never should... You are offered an even bigger discount if you give them a good review. So you are instantly sucked in to get a discount. Obviously those are the reviews that you are reading... Now I know. Once I was taken back by the tech I was told I needed to go softer and she recommended another style. I went with what she suggested as she was the professional. I had several issues during including the intense burning of my left eye every time she worked on it. When she was finished I was taken back (and not in a good way!) by how it turned out. Not really knowing what to expect I was told how "great" they looked by the staff. I did not feel they looked right at all! With no time to remove or change them because I needed to get to the airport in a few hours. I left. Hoping and praying they would somehow lay flat or finally settle down somehow because they looked like glued on spider webs stuck to my eyelids. I had to make the best of it and didn't return back to the states until a week after our wedding. Through out the entire time of our destination wedding I was horrified by how bad my eyelashes looked!!! When I returned we moved to Pearland a week later and I started researching other places. THANK GOD I found someone to repair what amazing lash had done. They even acknowledged that they always get horror stories from people that try amazing lash but mine were by far the worst they had ever seen!! Now that my lashes are fixed and look truly AMAZING by the new place I found! ( LASH JUNKIE - Pearland ask for Mario- he's a true artist @ what he does) I am so angry and embarrassed that I tried amazing lash thinking they were true professionals and now I have to live with my pictures and video of my wedding day looking awful! I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN AND I WILL MAKE SURE TO TELL EVERYONE THINKING ABOUT TRYING ANY AMAZING LASH STUDIO....DON'T DO IT!! Okay where do I start with this place . This place gave me my worst and most aggravating experience ever, if I could give a negative rating I surely would . First this is not my normal salon I go to, I usually go to the one off wallisville Stonepark but that location and the two stylist I like to do my lashes were booked for the day I needed so I called this location because it wasn't too far from my job and I needed my lashes done badly for an event I had to attend . Getting to the appointment, I got my lashes removed, suppose to have gotten a new set with the voluminized lashes. The removal started off terrible she put the solution on to help my old lashes slide off and left me in the room for a while and my eyes were burning like hell, so I'm in the room alone using my hand to fan my eyes while they were closed trying to maintain until she returned . Okay after that she did my lashes and when I got up I looked like I had nothing on my eyes. I told the stylist I couldn't tell the difference in my eyes, she went on saying that she put the volumized lashes on and she filled in all the gaps and I looked at her and just walked out thinking maybe my eyes was still blurry from the removal. I went out to check out and even bought some of the lash coating . I spent over $100 plus a tip that day. I got in my vehicle and face timed a friend and asked her was I not seeing something that the stylist saw and my friend told me that it didn't look like I had lashes on, same thing I says before I left out her room. I called back up there to talk to Amy , the manager but she wasn't there, so I called the next day and I explained to her the situation . She was in disbelief because it was her stylist but she says she believed me and told me that she will comp. my next refill service but I had to come back to the Meyer land location. She didn't give me a specific time or expiration date to get my service because remind you I had a event to attend so I had to go spend more money to get my lashes fixed right. This happened on Sept.9th. Okay on Oct 4th, yesterday I had a appointment for 4:00pm with a different stylist , NOTE: when I made my appointment I said I was coming back over there to receive my comp service that Amy noted that I could get, they seen this in the computer with no expiration date and continued to book me. Okay on yesterday I left work at approximately 3pm or a little before, note I'm driving from Freeport, Texas now because with my job we go to different refineries . When I got on 288 I wasn't expecting traffic but I got into traffic where the traffic came to a complete stop due to an accident so I immediately called the salon about 3:35 pm to let them know I was in traffic and I wouldn't be there by 4:00, she asked me what time I think I would be there I told her I wasn't sure because I can't move the cars it's traffic, she began to tell me about the 15 mins I hv and I told her I'm not sure about that either and I told her the reason I was coming back to that salon was for my comp and she said okay. I called them approximately 2-3 times letting them know my location and that I was trying to get there and that I will be there and she said okay. ( it's not letting me post my whole review but bottom line, the Mgr here was very rude and unprofessional, she wouldn't honor the words or notes left in the computer by another Mgr and she charged my card without a consent of me signing a waiver, and I didn't receive any services. I drove 1.5 hrs away just to tell me they couldn't do my lashes because I was late but why not tell me that over the phone all the times I was calling there letting you know where I was. I would recommend this place to anyone or go back to this location on my worst day. read more

I visited this location to check prices on a Wednesday. Since i already have eyelash extensions, i was told my first visit would be $30 to remove existing lashes and then would be charged $49 for a refill paying the first visit since they are running a special. I went ahead and booked my appointment for Sunday. Needless to say, it was was Bait & Switch! I went to check out and was told the fee was $109. The same girl who checked me out was the one who gave me the original quote. She apologized and said "I said that ? I must have misunderstood myself" and i paid $109 for a bad lash job. I finally got the courage to do my eyelashes so I came here on behalf of my sister in laws recommendation. I was set up with Javon and she was absolutely amazing! She's very gentle and fast. I was surprised when she finished my first eye I thought I would be sitting longer. I went ahead and joined the membership they offer to keep my lashes popping & I believe it's soooo worth it! I've been a member of Amazing lash for a while~~love their extensions and work~~ No complaints about their work but Customer Service is Horrific!! When i asked about pricing they were very rude to me and treat me like i'm stupid to ask question..my math did not add up when they took out two credits on my account which is worth $118 when full set is priced at $89.99. I wasn't going to argue, i just wanted to find out weather it is worth to have membership.. Seems like it cost me a lot more to have membership here then pay for service at the time .. my math does not equal out. Worst experience ever!!! Spent an entire day trying to get this situation fixed. Horrible customer service, and terrible lashes that had to be removed. It took 3 attempts to get off all the glue and I was left with an eyelid infection (stye) and a chronic cyst (chalazion) which took weeks to resolve. I asked for natural and got heavy crazy lashes that pointed in all directions and fell immediately into my contacts and had to be removed. They made me wait all day to have them removed and made me pay for the lashes and removal. The manager Emma only returned my money after I contacted my lawyer. The stylist was Ashley and the horrible rude receptionist were Michaela and Angela, not sure about the names it was such a horrible experience there names were the last of my worries. They were attentive and explained to me the different styles that they offered. I went for the more natural look. Once I laid down, Martina did her magic. Love it! Have been going regularly since January and recently became a member because I love it so much. I've used multiple ladies and all are great(Veronica, Li, Bea, Markeya). I don't wear much makeup anymore because these lashes have replaced my mascara and eyeliner! Must try it if you haven't! Everyone is always super nice. read more

I've been going to this Location on and off for almost a year. I've gone to different stylists. Everyone that I've had before had been great, until last Saturday. I had a new stylist that I haven't seen before. She took almost 2 hours for a full set. It's never taken that long. Then when she finished, I had tons of glue in my eyes. Literally a ball of glue in my eye. I was running late so I didn't have time to complain. When I got home later I couldn't sleep because my lashes were all clumped together from the excess glue. I ended up having to wet my eyes and take the lashes out that were stuck together and touching my eyeball. I will not go to that stylist ever again. Bei and vivi are my go to gals, both are flexible and detailed I used to go to the San Felipe and voss location (I live closer to the galleria location ) but after multiple mistakes on behalf of the front desk whom did not care I found the Meyerland location!!! They always follow up on my appointments, confirm and even go the extra step to put me on a waiting list if I need to get in last minute and the staff is so welcoming !! read more

Worst location to get lashes done. The customer service sucks. I left with one eye completed and the other not finished. They claimed they have a time limit. They also didn't remove the old lashes. Just a big mess!! One of the receptionist tried to resolve the problem and asked me to come back later but her manager said since I was 5 minutes late I didn't qualify for a correction. I have been to several other amazing lash locations for the past 5 years and I have never been so please with my lashes as this time my stylist name this time was Ling... she did such an amazing job 5 days after have them on and they still intact even when I wake up! Have work out sweat and still looking fresh and full usually by this time I will be seeing a few or a lot lashes falling off! But not this time! I'm so happy with her work I even call the salon today to let them know! Believe me when I tell you she did amazing! Wow. I had such a wonderful experience here. I was visiting Houston and I stopped a random stranger who had the most perfect lashes. She told me she got them done here so I had to try it out. Everything about this place impressed me. The staff was so friendly and helpful, especially Shelby. She is so knowledgeable about lashes and made me feel really comfortable there. The store has a nice and clean feel to it. My lashes look so great that I get nonstop compliments on them. I even stopped wearing makeup they make me feel so confident.
