Chi is the best!! The lashes were a bit more dramatic than I had expected. My eyes are bigger than average, so I'm aware of the drama lashes can have. I was taken aback and mildly shocked but tried my best not to react. I wanted to give myself a day or two to adjust to the new look and Chi was so sweet the entire time I didn't want to be rude. I thanked her and went on my way. Low and behold she texts me later that night asking if I could come in the next day so she could shorten it (remove and replace with new lashes)! First thing: I love how CLEAN she is. Her new place is spotless, so is the "bed", and her equipment. I've never had a bad reaction, and my skin can be very sensitive. First of all I've been getting my lashes done for over 12 years from various places. So I have a lot of experience with how lashes should feel and have NEVER had a problem with my lashes before and even the 1st time Chi did them they felt ok. The 2nd time that Chi did my lashes was a complete disaster! As she was placing the lashes I told her the lashes felt like they were being glued too far into my eye and that the fumes from the glue were burning my eyes. Chi replied "that's normal and the burn will go away after a little while." I allowed her to complete placing the lashes which was a HUGE MISTAKE. That evening the burning turned to pain! The next morning my eyes felt scratched and were burning so badly it was unbearable!!!! I texted and called chi from work crying telling her I could barely even open my eyes due to the pain and again she replied "that's normal" and she recommended I buy some eye drops. I immediately left work and went to get the eye drops but they didn't help at all! So I called her again and she insisted that they pain would go away after 4-5 days! Who TF is dealing with that pain for 4-5 DAYS?!?! I asked can come to get the lashes taken off. Well as SOON as she removed the lashes ALL of the pain/discomfort stopped! Chi tried to say that I must've had an allergic reaction. Umm hello that wasn't an allergic reaction! The lashes were placed too far into my eye! Well Chi went from being super nice to extremely rude when I asked for a refund or at least some of the money back! As I was talking to her I realized her eyes are blood shot red, probably from prolonged exposure to the hazardous glue fumes. I will NEVER go to her again bc endangering my eyesight isn't worth pretty lashes. The thing that angers me most is that the pain could've been avoided, I didn't receive any apology and she kept ALL the money I paid! RIDICULOUS! read more
