B E W A R E Where do I start? I had a wonderful first time experience with Maria Gonazalez and her team at Amazing Maids. We formed a friendship via IG. Second experience with was catastrophic. She not only canceled abruptly at 11:45PM the night before the service. She and her team of maids are never the same. Maria, is a wicked and a incompetent business woman. In order to run a legitimate business in the state of California you need insurance. She caused significant damage to our property within the apartment. As well as a potentially dangerous fire hazard. I addressed it to her two weeks later. I was hospitalized. (We formed a friendship prior to this.) she denies any responsibility and claims no insurance. Also, keep a close eye on your personal cleaning products. They will use it with no excuse. Have a written contract and avoid like the plague. I will be seeing Maria and Amazing Maid's in court. Reporting her to the BBB as well and verifying it she is a licensed to run a business. I unfortunately had to let this service go a few months back. The first several months went very well however I started to notice that different crews would come and each time work was inconsistent. I would find that they started cutting corners because they were very busy and skipping things that would normally have been done such as: not cleaning shower walls (i would still see spots); not cleaning or dusting blinds; dusting around objects instead of picking it up and dusting the area entirely; and not vacuuming as thoroughly as before. I would communicate with them each time when I would notice areas neglected and I would always receive an apology with promise to do better next time. After 2 months of "We will do better next time. I will take care of you" - I started to feel taken advantage of...keep in mind I was still paying full price and getting mediocre work. Finally got tired of this and had to let them go. It's very unfortunate that the quality of work changed and all that was promised and provided up front was later ignored. read more

We needed a good house cleaning because currently life has us way to busy. I contacted Amazing Maids and Maria was very responsive, checked her calendar, and made arrangements to come clean the next day. On the day of the scheduled cleaning she called to inform me that an AM time slot had opened and if I was available she's be on her way. I was and glad she was accommodating to my schedule. Her team did a great job cleaning and left my house sparkling. They worked fast but did a very thorough and detailed job. I was so pleased with the service that I'll start using them regularly and will definitely recommend them to family members and friends. Waste of money!!!!! All the reviews are true, she rips you off and does mediocre work. Maria brought only one worker with her to deep clean my house. They didn't even clean it good or thoroughly, the floors were still dirty, and they use very abrasive products so my oven panel got sooo scratched up. At first she said $300, then at the end of 4 hours, she said $350. Ugh never again Maria. I really liked you, but you lost a customer. Thumbs down for you and your worker. read more

I have used Maria's services for about 6 months & very happy w/ the job they do every time. If u need something extra cleaned just tell Maria & she'll do it . If u need a cleaning done in the future just text her & she'll try to come when you need her or she'll try to work around your schedule . Cause when I would schedule from another cleaning service a month in advance they'd always try to change the appointment or cancel. I appreciate that Maria & her crew always honor their commitments. She works w/ her daughter & son in law sometimes & her crew ..they are all super nice & professional . Especially Maria is just a great person to deal with . Our house was in desperate need of a serious cleaning just prior to our son's birthday party. My wife called Amazing Maids, and after thoroughly explaining the size of our home and the degree of messiness, she was assured that the charge for the cleaning would be "no more than $200." ($40 more than what we had been accustomed to paying for a cleaning with a different service, but because this was last-minute, she decided to go ahead anyway) Later in the day my wife informed me that Amazing Maids had shown up an hour late and tried to charge her $350 for the cleaning. She did not allow them to do the work. This has all the hallmarks of a classic bait and switch, and it's a company that we will NEVER contact again. read more

I called and made an appointment for my employer and they said they'd be there between 1-2pm I texted Maria the address myself. She never tried to contact myself or my employer. He finally called around 3pm when she said she was on her way. She never called me to tell me that she couldn't find the place, she only told after he called her at 5:30pm after waiting all day for her she said "oh I couldn't find it so I didn't go there we left we kept going" WOW! Really! If that wasn't bad enough after NOT SHOWING AT ALL, they said they would come the next morning at 7am they showed up after 8:30am and then when they got here since he had somebody come in the night before since they left us high & dry. Maria said "well let me call my husband and talk to him because now it's a little bit different because I wanted them to clean the living room and the bedrooms." She went outside was out there for about five minutes got into her car and left. She sent my employer a text saying that it had changed and they were on a timed schedule so she couldn't do it and they just left. My employer sent her a text saying you people are unbelievable. I was looking for a deep cleaning and then someone to start monthly service. Maria was very responsive, got back to me very quickly and arrived on time the day of my appointment. $400 and I had to clean my own floors after maid service! I usually don't leave bad reviews but I felt ripped off. They promised 4 people for $100 per hour but only 3 showed up for the same price. Ok fine. In the beginning they were efficient but when it was at 3hr 40 mins where it seems like they were done because they were slowing down. 2 maids were just standing there so I asked them to clean my windows inside and out. BOTH maid left my front door (I thought to clean my windows outside) but 5mins has passed and I didn't see them. I asks the other lady where did the other 2!go so she went outside to look for them. This review comes a little over a year AFTER first hiring Amazing Maids. Happy to say, Maria and her team are still going strong at our house. Other cleaning services have always started off strong but their enthusiasm has always dwindled and things went uncleaned. Not here with Amazing Maids! We've made this team a regular occurrence in our household and its paid off. Every time we come home, after Maria's army has been there, its always fresh, bright and clean. they've been caring, understanding, reliable and flexible. It feels like no job is too big or too small and she's been very good about working around our schedules. Also good to point out, they go the extra distance...: - When we moved homes, they even coordinated with our movers; pre-cleaning the new house and then cleaning the old house, after we'd moved out. - She's also provided cleaning service at some of our parties too. Started using this cleaning company year ago and was at first satisfied. I was first provided ckeaning service from husband and his crew. At first the crew was good, but became lazy and cut corners. Then the wife contacted me to use her crew. At first again her crew was great. Then the wife tells me she made an error in pricing my home and wants me to pay double!! We agreed on fair price and she cleaned several more times fir me. On my last two scheduled cleaning dates she canceled 1 hour before she was to be to my house. After this happening twice I no longer need the headache. I soend at least 3 hours preparing for her arrival and very frustrating when the crew does not show up. Very unprofessional Amazing Maids. After trying to reach her the entire day/evening she finally answered the following day and apologised and I fell for her excuse and rescheduled. And they stood me up AGAIN, never contacted me back at all this time to give a new excuse (and its now been weeks with no conract). I called up Maria the same day and she was very nice on the phone and told me that she can get here by 3:00pm, she end up coming earlier than expected which was 1:00pm. Good thing my wife was at home during that time so it was no big deal. Maria and her crew was very professional and they did an amazing job. They did a deep clean which cost more than your normal cleaning, but it was a price that I happily paid as the work they did was 1st quality. Bad experience. They did not show up for the appointment for consecutive two times. The first time the owner said she did not have my address, but she got my cell, she could have called for my address.The 2nd appointment me was at 1:00 pm, but it was already 2:00 pm they still did not show up. i called to find out what was going on, then the owner said they were running late and could not come to my home until after 4:00pm . The called dropped two times during our conversation and I needed to keep on calling the owner back . If I could give 0.1 star, I would! I have only had "Amazing Maids" come to clean my 1200 sq ft home and been terribly disappointed after the 1st time. The 1st time, they cleaned well and we agreed on every 3rd Friday of the month. Come Friday, I call to confirm. "Oh I forgot!", Maria said. She offered for 3:30 PM Friday, which of course didn't happen. Ok, I was willing to accept that stuff comes up. So she offered the following Monday @ 8:30 AM. Come Monday, the cleaning crew WAS A NO SHOW, NO CALL! I had to reach out to Maria to find out what happened. This was annoying and very frustrating because my time was wasted, I could have been at work but had taken time off to wait for the cleaning crew. There was no courtesy of a phone call to reschedule. These women did an absolutely amazing job on my mother's condo, while she was hospitalized. Trust worthy and impeccable. They did such a great job my sister in Wisconsin said she wished she could fly them out there, when I forwarded her pictures of my mother's place. They came in on time, however the cleaning ladies did not clean inside stove, dust still present once I vacuum. If I had not lifted my sofa they would not even vacuum that spot. My last and final comment is that they use the same rug to wipe floor of my bathroom to the bedroom. That's a big mistake. Cross contamination of spaces within my condo. Scheduled a cleaning recently. They showed up more or less on time (about ~20 minutes late). When they got here, they said they would not clean bugs. I told them before hand we recently sprayed for bugs and that we needed help with the kitchen and putting all the dishes back in. I scheduled an appointment to have my house cleaned 2 weeks in advance. The women showed up to clean on time and asked to have a tour of the house. I told them I what I initially was quoted but they said it would be more and they needed to speak with the manager outside. After waiting 30 minutes I walked out and noticed they were gone with no notice at all. The manager had no clue of this and said she would get back to me. I hired Amazing Maids to clean my mom's house for her birthday. I felt the pricing was fair and they were right on time. My mom was so happy with her stove. She was going to buy new parts for it because she could not get it clean. These ladies made it look like new! The only reason I took a star off is the light switches didn't get wiped down (and they really needed it) and they didn't do the glass slider in the living room. However, the slider was open so I think it just got overlooked. I would definitely hire them again. read more

Servanto communicated well with me, explaining what exactly will be done and the cost for services before having his team work on my mom's house. When they were done, he conducted a walk through with me to show what was done and any limitations to what they couldn't do ( stains on walls that can't be removed, etc). They were easy to work with. The honest truth is that in my entire life I have never experienced such a wonderful clean that leaves you feeling refreshed, organized and happy. My mother owned a house cleaning company for years and Servando and Maria exceed her quality, which I never knew was possible. They clean my vacation rental and my home. No matter how filthy someone leaves my vacation rental they go through every single drawer, utensil and linen to make sure that their are no surprises for the next guest. They are affordable and worth every penny. I have had them about 20 times now and each time gets better with their new products, arts and crafts with toilet paper and linen swans and flowers. I live with my grandma whose in her 80's and is ill so cleaning is not an option for her. I work and go to school full time so it difficult for me to clean as well and we have 3 dogs that are both indoor and out. I found Amazing maids at a perfect time. They do live up to their name Amazing maids!! After a total knee replacement and not being able to get around well, my hubby found Amazing Maids to have our house cleaned. It's been 3 months today, and I'm still using Maria and her wonderful crew. These ladies do an excellent job every time! My bathrooms and showers are spotless. Our hardwood floors get a good cleaning and light damp mop. Everything is dusted and polished and carpets are vacuumed well. My kitchen is cleaned. Appliances and stove is sparkling and the trash is emptied. It's easy to get in touch with Maria and Amazing Maids.
