I did not have a good experience and will likely never return. It's a nice location downtown, it's the old Paint nail polish salon that closed a few years ago--RIP bc they were good. It's close to a parking garage. They offered a menu of complimentary drinks. They were able to fit me in last minute. The lady who did my nails appeared to be stressed and my entire gel polish change experience was lacking. The service itself was aggressive, rushed, and uncomfortable. It felt like she was pressed for time. We all have our days but she was too rough on me. I will say the manicure itself was nice but she left paint on my skin. Also I'm not sure how clean it was. The nail file appeared to be communal. She brought a small plastic dish for me to soak my polish off and it was obviously used, but I'm hoping it was sanitized? And she was talking so kindly to them in the switch up when she would talk to me was insane. It made the experience feel very unprofessional. She also seemed irritated that I wasn't paying with cash. When I told her I was using a card, she rolled her eyes. I didn't realize she expected me to use my physical card, since most businesses now accept Apple Pay, she sighed heavily in annoyance. After she handed me the receipt to sign. I accidentally signed in the wrong place, and instead of politely pointing it out, she spoke to me in a very condescending and aggressive tone, like I was a child. Considering how I had been treated, I chose not to leave a tip. The service cost $10, took about 10 minutes, and the overall experience was unpleasant. That seemed to make her even more upset. She hesitated before handing my card back and looked genuinely shocked that I hadn't tipped. I have never been treated so poorly at any business, especially at a nail salon.
