This has probably been the worst nail experience I've ever had. My mom made an appointment for herself to get acrylic nails with Riley and an appointment for myself with Josie. When we go there we said who our appointments were with and the receptionist lady rudely says no and looks at us like we're crazy and says it's impossible to have an appointment with Riley because she no longer works there and hasn't worked there for over 8 months. She said my moms appointment is with Nina. But the lady my mom spoke to on the phone never told her that Riley no longer worked there, she lied and told my mom she had appointment lined up with her but obviously when we got there. That was a lie. So after we finished our pedis, we sat down waiting for our ladies to finish up with other customers and my mom is sitting in Nina's(the manager of the store) spot so Nina can do her white tip. I was waiting for Josie to finish up her customer and when she did she told my mom to sit in her spot and I sit in Nina's. But I had an appointment with Josie (who has done my nails every time I've gone in there) so as Nina was doing my nails I asked for almond shaped, black mat. But she did gel and charged me 44 dollars. When I never asked for gel. Josie told my mom that if I wanted her specially I have to make appointment with her, but I did and they gave me someone who couldn't even do what I asked for. Their prices aren't true to what they have posted and my nails were definitely NOT worth 44 dollars. Highly disappointed. read more

I really don't understand all of the negative reviews. After moving to the Central Valley, I went through 4 nails shops searching for a new regular spot & found this GEM. Rylee is who I came to my first appointment and have been a faithful customer to her for a little over two years. She's a sweet heart, is fun to talk to and really develops a true bond with all of her clientele. She's worked with me after I've damaged my thumb nail and is so patient through this process with me. She Always looks out for the best interest of your nail health, not what will rack up your bill. I work in the service industry and I'm heavy on my hands, but they're always in tip top shape. I always get compliments on my nails. Thank you Rylee, you are the best! You keep my nails looking healthy and beautiful. It's true, I don't get what I asked for-- I get even better than expected! read more

This place used to be nice and attentive, but much has changed. Today we had an appointment. I took my mom in for a manicure. First off, looks like they took in a walk-in before they took us in. Second, they sat my mom on the chair for a manicure and didn't start on her until 30 minutes later. Looks like everyone was busy and no one was available for my mom. I had been asking when she would be taken care of and all they said is "I'm looking into it" or "some one will" but they never came back to tell me what was the issue or status. The host was not very helpful. They don't even have a variety of nail polishes to choose from if your getting a basic Mani or pedi. I know I will be looking for another place. Although each individual lady is different and some are friendly this is nothing against them just an honest review on this place and it's customer service. read more

CAUTION!!! This is a very late post, but I felt it necessary to share. The end of last May, a few days before my College Graduation I needed to get my eyebrows done. After getting my nails done there they had a someone take me to the private rooms to get my eyebrows done. I am not sure exactly what happened. Maybe the wax wasn't warm enough, but I trusted them to do a good job since this was the only place I would get my eyebrows done. Well she applied the wax, removed it. After she waxed both eyes she did it AGAIN!! Never has anyone double waxed the same area twice like that. My eyebrows were a lot more red than usual. The next day I woke up with SCAAAAAAAABS around my eyebrows. Now don't forget graduation was the next day. I was freaking out. I went back to the nail shop to speak with the manager. She became defensive, acted like she had never seen me in her life. She told me to go home and put Vaseline around my eyes!!! Then, in front of all her employees asked me to pick out the woman who waxed my eyebrows. I couldn't remember, my eye were closed.... Plus my glasses were off. I tried to describe her and she denied anyone there looking like the description I gave her. It was rude, in front of customers, employees, etc. Publicly trying to embarrass me, as a form of intimidation is not my thing. She finally wrote down my information and told me she would call me. She said after she called I could come if for a free service if some. Can't remember, not like I was going back. NEVER GOT CALLED! I'm only writing this review as a precaution. read more

Went here with my friend 3 days ago for my birthday. The lady who did my nails was rough enough to cute me in a few different places. She was rude and yanked my hand multiple times. In addition, there was a lady who came up and touched them before the drying process and it had to be redone. I kept my calm and did not comment on it or anything. There was a different lady who did my friend's who got Shallac did a poor job too. There is a clear space where the absence of color is. I would not recommend this place for $30 and the simple style I got, there should be little room for error. Next time I will not give them my business. I went here before and was dissatisfied but figured with a different lady it wouldn't be as bad. Save your money and pay an extra ten or so to get good quality acrylics. read more

But don't expect to make a lot of chit chat and expect your nail technician to hurry through the appointment to get you finished so she can start on the next person. My name is Kristin P. and I have a problem. I chip my nail polish off within 24 hours of having my nails painted. Consider it my OCD outlet. Seriously, I have wasted hundreds of dollars on manicures that I completely remove like, a day later. Despite this, I recently treated myself to a mani/pedi at Amazing Nails before Thanksgiving and I can honestly say it was the BEST MANICURE i'VE EVER HAD. It lasted for days. My manicurist-- I think his name was John-- did some magic with a paintbrush on the top edges of all my nails (I think magic = nail polish remover), which caused them not to chip like they always do. Also he was friendly and the place was clean. I was asked to sit in a chair that was missing a wheel for my manicure, so that was a little uncomfortable, but that's my only complaint. read more

I have been going to this place for about 15 months now, and I strongly believe it's the best in the area. I have heard of a few people getting infections, but I highly doubt it. They use brand new utensils for each client. They even open it in front of u!! Nina does shellac and it works great for me. It's a gel polish that protects your nails and won't chip for a good ten days! I recommend this place to everyone! Ps: Nina, Jennifer, and Phyllis are the best. (in my opinion) :) read more

HORRIBLE & UNPROFESSIONAL DO NOT GO HERE!. This would not even get 1 star if it was an option. It was my first time and the lady that did it for me didn't do a good job including 1 of the nails was not on straight and gave attitude even when I came back to have it fixed and still not a good job. I came back and had a different lady fix it and all they do is talk shitt and have rude attitude toward you when you are nothing but kind and respectful. I make one comment about a nail that I was concerned about and she goes on to ask "Are you professional?" "You know how to do this"? As soon as she said that I told her she was being rude and she said no she is not. What kind of idiots speak that way to a customer especially the first time customers. All they do is talk shitt literally in front of you whether english or not you all are super obvious and seem really miserable if you can't handle simple conversations and respect. Nail salons are always a tricky thing to review. Every experience isn't always 100% amazing. I really do love this place though. I give it 4 stars because you can't do walk ins. It's almost near impossible. If you walk in and get in within the hour you are lucky. So you have to plan a little bit. I never have had a bad pedicure or manicure. They keep their staff rotated and make sure they are meeting the demand. People often times get upset if their person is going too fast, i do too but you have to keep in mind they are making sure everyone is happy and not taking 3 hours on your pedicure.... I can respect that. I don't go anywhere else. This is my place and has been for 6 years :) If you want a good pedicure with some salt scrub go here! You won't be disappointed! read more

Horrible service! Rude ladies! We went to get our nails done and spent over a $150 for BASIC manicures and pedicures. Our toes were bleeding, we had bumps and pieces of human hair in our nails, and even worse as a speaker of their language they were constantly saying bad things about us and BODY SHAMMING us. They most of the time do a great job but this is the second day in a row they turn me away first I didn't have an appointment I walked in ok understandable , but today I had an appointment my sister had made for both her and I different times of course. My sister cancels her appointment. Got me right in. I guess I had lucky timing. They did a great job. I got full set of acrylic nails with painted design and hard jell I believe on top all for only $35 plus I gave $5 tip. From what I heard other nail salons price, this one is worth it. Let me start out by saying I am not "current" on the different nail techniques (shellac, acrylic, etc) and when I called to make my appointment and said I wanted my fingernails done (and when I was pressed further I guess I said painted), I had no idea that I wouldn't be able to discuss what technique would be best for my nails and then have that service completed. I have oily nail beds which is why I don't get my nails done. Ever. Toes, yes. Fingers, no. I can peel the polish off my nail in one piece like a sticker so why bother? Hence my lack of knowledge about the available products (I mean come on...its not my job to know, I'm not in the cosmetology industry). When I was seated at the nail station, I asked the technician what would be best for my nails. She mentioned shellac and showed me the available colors. I let her know I wanted French tips. Imagine my surprise when she ended up doing regular polish. :/ Not knowing the procedure for schellac, I had no idea it was regular polish. That was until 2 short hours later when the polish was already badly chipped in and then 80% gone within 15 hours (8 of which I was asleep...). I was panicking. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding that day and there was no time to have this type of problem. I was at the nail salon at 9am right when they opened. The owner came in early to do my nails. She was at the shop by 9:10am. She had me seated at the nail station by 9:15am. I was super impressed and hopeful that the urgency would continue but she didnt start my nails until 9:30am. I was 45 mins late for my make up appt.......but she did an amazing job and corrected the problem far and above my expectations. She let me know that when I'm scheduling my appointment, I need to know what service I want done. So, just a heads up, if you dont know what service you want, make sure to ask questions over the phone and schedule the right kind of appointment. P.S. if you are reading this and avoid getting your nails done due to the same kind of problem with oily nail beds, the shellac has lasted an entire week so far. I'm optimistic about getting another week or so out of them. Its is so worth it! read more

Worst experience I have ever had! The lady named Jessica was so rude and did a horrible job on my nails! She was so rough and I was in pain while she was doing my nails. She didn't clean up the extra acrylic around my nails and I have a strand of red hair in my acrylic with gel on top if it. They told me to come back a different day. I came here and got a shellac manicure and I loved it. A little more expensive than my regular place but the woman who did it was very sweet. BUT not even a week later it started chipping.
