    Amazing prices for lunch specials

My parents actually discovered this spot during their nightly walks--back when the restaurant was still under renovation. So needless to say, we were really excited to finally try it once it opened, especially since the Valley doesn't have a huge scene for authentic Chinese food. And let me tell you--we were not disappointed! The soup dumplings were juicy and packed with flavor, the noodles had that perfect chewy texture, and the broth tasted rich and homemade--definitely bone broth, not just MSG. And the orange chicken? A must-try. The owner mentioned it's a unique spin on the classic dish, and it totally delivered--crispy, tangy, and not overly sweet. And if I could, I'd give the service a 6-star rating. I'm all for supporting local, family-owned restaurants, and the owners were incredibly attentive. We brought our two toddlers with us, and they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable--checking that the table wasn't too small, offering extra bowls for the kids, and even handing out fortune cookies while we waited to keep them entertained. They also brought us complimentary lemon water infused with passion fruit, which was absolutely amazing. We were so busy wrangling the kids that we didn't get any food photos, but I did snap a few shots of the menu. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and care that went into everything. We'll definitely be back--there are so many other dishes we're excited to try next time!

Tasty food with good portion sizes. This is Chinese food, not Panda. I am definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu. Please don't come here expecting all your dishes to be drenched in some sweet teriyaki sauce. Chinese food is simple and lightly seasoned with the taste coming from the fresh ingredients, not the sweet heavy sauce to satisfy the "western" palate.

It was about 9 :45pm and we were looking for a late night Chinese restaurant when I saw this new Chinese restaurant nearby that closes at 11.Their service was great for how late we showed up. We ordered the fried noodles combination, the orange chicken, and the 8pc fried dumplings. All the food was authentic and delicious but the star of the show was the orange chicken. It's crispy and the sauce is sticky and full of flavor. Customer service was excellent and friendly as well. This is definitely going to be one of our go-to restaurants now.

    Spicy Braised Beef Noodles

Just came back from Shanghai. The food here is pretty good. The beef noodle soup had hand cut noodles with a nice broth. The beef was very soft. Ignore the review about it being spicy it really isn't . They also have some other dishes that were good; tho definitely Chinese-American dishes. Will try the XLB next time. We went on a Tuesday night and they close at 10pm. Guess they are a newer restaurants and hours may not be updated Overall very solid Chinese place. Would recommend

A hidden gem in the valley, and more than deserving of all five stars. I was looking for a place that served exceptional Chinese food. I will never look any further than Noodles Kitchen. Every single dish tried tonight was absolutely phenomenal. Each bite bursting with flavor, and it was really difficult to stop eating. Service was amazing, the shop is cozy. Such a great family run restaurant, already can't wait to return!

I'm a bit surprised at all the low ratings but, I'm happy I decided to give this small business a try. I placed an order online through their website, and placed an order for pick up. The pick up time was 45 mins, which was a bit high, but we were okay with that because we ordered early enough, and the food was worth the wait. Once we arrived, we found parking in the back, so I entered from there, mentioned my name, picked it up, and went home to enjoy it. The place itself looked a bit dated but was a cute little restaurant. I wouldn't mind eating inside the next time around. We ordered the cheese rangoon for our appetizer, I got the beef lomein for myself, and my boyfriend got the Kung Pao Chicken. It came with rice which was nice. The total was $45 with taxes, which was reasonable given the potion size and quality. It took us two days to finish it. All the food was flavorful, fresh, and delicious. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

With so many solid Chinese food options in the area, this place simply doesn't measure up. What really sealed the poor experience was the service from a woman who appeared to be the owner. When I politely asked to move tables to avoid nearby customers loudly using vulgar language, she came across as dismissive and rude (whether due to attitude or language barrier, the interaction was not handled well). I ultimately had to move myself just to enjoy my meal in peace. The only bright spot was our waiter, who was friendly and prompt. Unfortunately, one good staff member isn't enough to offset the overall experience. I won't be returning.

The pork was pleasantly rough ground meat that seems to be marinated with Hoisin sauce giving the meat a sweet, fermented, earthiness. Small shrimp is hidden inside the ground meat.  Accompanying vinegar blackened with a touch of soy sauce is way too sweet so it masks the meatiness of the ground pork.  This vinegar would be far better without the added sugar in adding a complementary gastrique to enliven the fatty pork filling.  2) Rice Noodle Singpore Style:  The Maifun angel hair rice pasta was al dente and extremely dry. It seems curry powder was just dumped onto the Maifun and stirred around so that the curry powder was very gritty and its flavour not evenly distributed.   Golden Dragon in DTLA Chinatown of the 1980's dissolved curry powder in chicken broth to give the rice pasta a more flavourful, mellow, smooth, even curry flavour.   Very little healthful, colorful vegetables such as carrots, onions, bellpepper....only a hint of sautéed beansprouts. No pickled scallions. 6 sautéed shrimp are a nice size but mushy.   The measly amount of Char Siu pork was moist, meaty, firm, but cut with poor knife skills. The thin julienned meat was too long giving an unpleasant mouthfeel.    Subpar Chinese. Lacks sophisticated culinary methods such as finely honed knife skills. Chinese food made for a non-Chinese clientele so "authenticity" is lacking as well as taking advantage of customers who are not truly aware of the glories of East Asian cuisine.   Unfortunately, Dan's falls far short of Empress in DTLA Chinatown of the 1990's and Ton Kiang in San Francisco of the 2,000's.  2 stars

If not, I would just leave, but some stuff looked okay, and I was ready to eat some okay "Chinese" food. The food container was heavily packed, it easily felt like more than three pounds worth of food, which comes out to less than $5 a pound, which makes it really your bang for your buck! It was not heavily greasy too, which makes is on the high side of good "Chinese" food. I know that if I have this type of craving, I would be willing to drive out of my way to come back here again.
