Her treatment had been completed at the previous ortho, she just needed her braces removed and a retainer. Upon them reassuring me they could assist, they requested ALL of her records from the previous ortho, and of course that was no problem. My daughter attended her appointment less than 10 minutes and I was then told by the "assistant" that my daughter would be required to do an additional 4 months of treatment "because the Dr just wanted to make sure everything was perfect" and I was quoted $1600 for 4 months of treatment. UNBELIEVABLE. When I asked for a breakdown, I received via email that they were going to redo all her xrays and records ALREADY GIVEN TOO THEM FROM THE PREVIOUS ORTHO. I was quoted $200 per visit which equals $800 when I asked where the remaining $800 came from I was told again by his "assistant" oh thats for the removal and retainer. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. I know we are all in a pandemic but respect your customers enough to not rip them off. WOW. SAD.

My son has gone there for the last year and a half and if he hasn't complained to me about when he goes to the dentist they must be do something right. They were super friendly when I walked in and I was quickly filling out the necessary paperwork so we could get this party started. I was soon led back to my tech's room to begin the fun, and I do have to admit, this was not a bad dentist appointment. Christy quickly got all my teeth x-rayed and started in on cleaning them. A bit of a different touch was they have small TVs that you can watch while they are working on your teeth. I understood my son's question last night when he asked me what I was going to watch during my appointment. Christy is a great dental tech who's been doing her job for 11 years and man does it show. She's very efficient and not to mention didn't make me wince once while that sharp metal object was in my mouth. Once Christy finished up in came the dentist, Amanda Littlefield. She was very personable and took a minute to kind of get to know you before jumping right in. Once she was done with her exam Christy finished up with my fluoride treatment and I was out the door in one hour and ten minutes. Not too shabby seeing I had to get a full round of x-rays done. I wish I could say I'll happily return in 6 months for my next cleaning but I'll be back in about a month to fix a filling that my former dentist did about 8 months ago. I won't be thrilled to be back in a month, but at least I feel my teeth are now in good hands.

First, she said I had not provided my insurance information. Then she said I had provided the wrong information. I had already provided all of the necessary insurance information, including a copy of the front and back of my medical insurance card. The confusion appeared to be that my medical and dental coverage are administered by different insurance companies, even though they use the same Member ID and Group Number. Once Ashley allowed me to explain the situation, I clarified that the insurance company had already confirmed their protocol: the provider's office simply needs to call the provider services 1-800 number to verify coverage and obtain any needed information. Despite this, Ashley repeatedly refused to make the call and instead told me, "You do it," more than once. Throughout the interaction, Ashley raised her voice, accused me of interrupting her, and shifted blame rather than trying to resolve the issue. She also refused to provide her last name when I requested it. Ashley initially told me the manager was present while we were speaking. However, when I asked to speak with the manager, she then said the manager was in a meeting. These inconsistent statements caused me to question the accuracy of the information I was being given. Ashley also stated that Alex the manager approved of how she handled the situation. Throughout the interaction, I perceived multiple microaggressions and felt I was not treated with professionalism or respect. Patients should not have to argue with staff to have standard insurance verification procedures followed. I hope management reviews this interaction, provides additional customer service training, and ensures staff follow established insurance verification protocols instead of placing the burden on patients when the insurer has instructed the provider's office to make the verification call.

I wanted to schedule my next appointment in October, and I gave them my insurance's coverage information that clearly states the appointment would be covered. However, based on some "policy" that the front desk came up with, they wanted me to schedule the appointment in November because they were worried insurance wouldn't cover the appointment. 1. I asked to see this policy as written, and the front desk told me no. 2. I asked to speak to an office manager, and the front desk told me no. She asked me if I wanted to speak to the other receptionist. I said yes. After being on hold, she did not transfer me to anyone and told me to go to another dental office. 3. I asked them if they could file the claim for me in October, and if insurance wouldn't cover it, I'd be happy to pay out of pocket. They refused to even try to file the insurance claim, stating their "policy" tells them not to. I understand being worried insurance won't cover the appointment, but I'm angry at the fact they wouldn't even try to file the claim without a good reason, especially when I told them I would assume the risk. I also think the front desk was unprofessional in saying she'll let me speak to another receptionist but then turns around and tells me to go to another dental office. I DO NOT recommend this office, especially to my fellow military spouses. Please go anywhere else.

About 7 months or so ago I went in for a cleaning and much to my dismay I was told I had 5 cavities. In the first 30 years of my life I had none, but now I have five. That should have been my first indicator. About a week after my first round of cavities being filled the exact spot of one cavity became extremely sensitive to cold or heat so I go back in. Her explanation, my gum has receded some so that was causing the sensitivity on the top of my tooth in the exact spot she filled my cavity. Right, so she puts something on the exposed part of my tooth to help and within 2 days it had all fallen off. Several weeks later I went in to have the remaining 3 cavities filled, only I was told they were filling 2 cavities. After I paid and was about to walk out the tech come rushing out informing me they hadn't filled one of the cavities and wanted to know if I wanted to come back in and start the process all over again. I think not. So by this point, I've decided that I will never set foot in this place again. Now, a full 6 months after my last treatment I get a bill in the mail saying I have an unpaid balance that is over 90 days due. First, I paid my balance in full after my last appointment so why do I all of a sudden have an unpaid balance. Second, how is this the first letter I got concerning this. This insinuates that I've got at least 2 other letters and have not bothered to pay up. I had thought this place was suspect early on but this was just the straw that broke the camel's back. On Tuesday I'm going to go in on my lunch break, pay my past due balance and walk out of that place and never go back. I hope that if anyone is looking for a dentist reads this and avoids this place like the plague. If you are looking for quality dentistry work and a professional experience, please look elsewhere.
