    a tray of sushi

The service was friendly but the sushi was terrible. My mother ordered noodles which we were able to eat. If they were not closing, I would have taken everything back. It was a sheer waste. I was hungry so I ordered two rolls of shrimp tempura. The rice was rather wet and it was not fresh. I wasted about $60 on three orders that night. I strongly discourage ordering from this restaurant.

Pros: New restaurant. Convenient location (next to Kroger). Perfect for after a "long night." Fried rice is GOOD. Large portions! Online ordering system is easy to manage. CONS: Spicy Mayo isn't spicy. Chicken and steak were ok, just slightly chewy. Sweet/savory balance is off. Final thoughts: If ordering out, food is perfect for sobering up. Food is nothing special regarding taste BUT portions are large, so you should be able to make 2 meals out of it. All in all, would probably eat here again, but I won't go out of way.

    Hibachi steak and Shrimp

The food is cooked fresh, the service is amazing and it's cool and casual. I will not order the steak again but I will go back to order the hibachi shrimp and add extra shrimp to it, the steak is a different cut but I knew that I was taking a chance (it tells you the cut on the menu I forgot what it is) so I can't blame them. I love that sauce comes at the end and you can let them know if you prefer light sauce but best part is that they have yum yum sauce. The atmosphere is cool and relaxed but not good for large parties. It's also inexpensive and they are just extremely nice and professional. Nice little spot I can't wait to go back.

So I've been craving sushi, but since moving to a different part of Atlanta, I didn't feel like…read moredriving an hour to get sushi lol. Anyways... I used my Yelp search for a sushi spot and actually looked at the pics to see if the rolls looked good hahaha. I found Tokyo in this search and let me tell youuuu.... It was sooo good. Upon walking up, they have a huge menu on the outside window, so you can look at it before walking in or if you are passing by. Inside there is room to eat-in. Behind the counter there is a small section where the sushi rolls are made. You can also see the guys on the hibachi grill preparing food. I ordered a shrimp tempura roll without cucumber, a Tokyo roll without avocado, and the steak and shrimp entree. They give you enough seafood sauce in the bag, but if you want more, they have their sauces over by the drink station. Noooow let's get into this foooood. I looked at it and knew it was going to be really good.... And looks were NOT deceiving. Both of the rolls were PERFECT!! I was actually mad that I didn't get more, instead of getting the entree lol. The tempura salmon ontop of the Tokyo roll was sooo crunchy. Oh my!! It was soooo good!! I'm only giving 4-stars because the steak and shrimp entree was very bland. Next time I will get extra rolls rather than the entree. Oh and the prices are realllllyyyy good too. I will definitely be back for more rolls!! If you like sushi... they have a nice selection and you can watch the gentleman make them!!

They have to go menus & you go to the counter to place your order & they give you a number then bring the food to you. The atmosphere is kind of blah but the food wasn't! We tried a little bit of everything, since it was our first time. The sushi - it was nice & freshly made. While it was good, it oddly tasted dry. I guess I'm use to my sushi having sauces on them & I guess the ones I ordered were sauce less. The hibachi - my friend enjoyed their order, said it tasted good. They ordered the steak, chicken, & shrimp combo with veggies and rice. The chicken wings - VERY GOOD!! They were seasoned to the bone & fried perfectly. The dumpling (pork) - tasty & tasted even better with the sauce that goes with it. The spring roll - crunchy and delicious! It comes with one but I could have easily eaten more. The sweet tea gets an honorable mention bcuz it tasted fresh & was perfectly sweet. I've had sweet tea at restaurants that tasted sour or stale, like it was a day old or had been out all day. Not this tea. It was delicious, like I'd made it myself at home. We would definitely return!

So our waitress was very nice and attentive. I got the wonton soup - was very flavorful ! It looked like water but was very tasty ! The house rice was seasoned and flavorful as well as the shrimp fried rice. I really enjoyed the tangerine chicken it wasn't as spicy as I wanted it but it lightly fried and flavorful. Now I love steamed rice this didn't taste like steamed rice just regular like boiled rice but it could have been the type of rice they used as well. The shrimp tempura was my fav roll follows by the Waikiki then the veggie. Reasonably priced with large portions I will def return

(He was swamped taking orders, bringing checks etc to all the other tables) When he finally took our order it was pretty smooth sailing after that. But seeing as how we were STARVING, waiting that long for any kind of service was pretty upsetting. That being said, food came out hot and flavorful, and didn't take very long once the order was put in. There was also a LOT of takeout traffic so I think if I do visit here again, I'll order ahead for takeout.

We were seated immediately and the vibes were unmatched. Our waitress, T, was incredibly accommodating and attentive to our large group. The food was fantastic and we had a variety items from the menu including: the Hibachi Shrimp with Chicken, Volcano Sushi, Bento boxes, and appetizers like the Bang Bang Shrimp, Gyozas, and Calamari. The Bang Bang Shrimp was one of the best I've ever had, the shrimp was jumbo sized and the sauce was sweet but not too spicy and didn't make the fried batter soggy (we ordered twice! Lol) Everything was delicious. The DJ played music for every generation, and the karaoke made the night so much fun. This is definitely our new favorite spot on the Southside! The service here is super-fast. They're great. They educate you on the menu. You can ask any questions. There's no problem with them giving you information or letting you know how this dish will be presented or prepared. Service was fast. Food is delicious. As stated previously, this was my first time here, and I wasn't aware that they had drink specials. I went on a Wednesday, and they had two and three-dollar margaritas. They are served in mini cups, but it's two dollars. You get what you paid for. were tasty. I could taste the alcohol, that's not what I needed it We ordered the Bang Bang shrimp. The shrimp was large, perfectly fried, and coated in a sweet yet spicy sauce. Despite the sauce, the shrimp stayed crisp and didn't get soggy 10/10 recommend. We ended up getting two orders. We also had the miso soup, which was delicious. It was like what we needed on a cold day. It was warm and satisfying. It did kind of taste like a Ramen broth, but it was still good, nonetheless. I ordered the Ramen Spicy Shrimp Golden, chef's kiss! I added some crispy garlic to the top and chili oil. Listen, this was a beautiful dish. I even saved it for later. Amazing. The noodles did not get fluffy after sitting in the broth for a while 10/10. We do intend on making this our regular spot. The only downside is the parking. It's extremely limited, and it's in a plaza with several other businesses, but if you check on the backside of the restaurant, there is additional parking.

Hello, ran it back today. My bestfriend thought they closed at 10 but when I looked online while we…read morewere headed there it said 9. So we called them around 8:15 to see if they were still seating people or when do they stop seating people and let them know we done the street. The lady on the phone said it's fine come on in. So we seated of course things were rushed which is understandable because people are ready to go home but it's like if we're not going to get decent service just say hey we want you guys to get the best service catch us again tomorrow cause this experience really is the exact opposite from first experience which I will still keep and add below this review. The drinks were out and flat. The menu says gratuity of 18% on groups 6+ but we were still charged that gratuity. We did hibachi sit down and didn't want any sides like the soup or salad so we could get straight to it since it's late but got extra charges for fried rice. I thought it would actually be included since it's hibachi. Then we realize everytime we come the prices or fees change but we always get the same thing. And the food was nasty. So we just boxed it up and headed out so we can go box home and throw it back on the stove or something, I don't know. I really just feel like this experience was due to it being late and everyone ready to go home. I've never had a bad experience here until today. My food and service is usually outstanding so the only advice I have is to never go too late or close to closing time outside of that service is usually great but not today tho. Previous review: Great food with quick and amazing customer service. I'm new to the area and this is my go to spot now. As soon as you walk in your greeted and seated right then and there. Love it here 10/10 highly recommend.

We took my daughter in for a birthday's eve hibachi experience. While the rest of us ate the…read morehibachi meal, my youngest still had chicken nuggets. The nuggets are different than they were in my first review; they are regular nuggets now (I'll upload a new picture). The hibachi food was very tasty. I thought the fried rice and the salmon were both particularly good. However, the show went much quicker than a normal hibachi show does. It seemed to cut some corners. For example, when the chef did the bit where he tossed food at guests to attempt to catch in their mouths, it was just plain white rice and one toss per interested person. Overall, I found the shorter show a little disappointing, especially given that they charge a mandatory 18% gratuity for the hibachi experience. Final critique of the hibachi experience: I want both chicken and salmon, however, that is not a combination that they offer. I could have chicken or salmon, but not both. Eventually, the person who took our order (a different person than our waitress) came back to let me know that I could have both chicken and salmon if I paid the steak and salmon price. Steak and salmon is a combination they offer. This seemed reasonable to me as that price was not far off from having either the chicken or salmon individually. We were there on Sunday and surprised to see there were multiple specials happening. One is that every Sunday is supposed to be "Kids Day" (uploading pic of the flyer) but this was never mentioned and our young children were offered nothing. I inquired about it on the way out and was told that we could have asked our waitress to bring the special items for the children. Why would this not just be something they do? The second special was specific to the month of September. This month, everyone can request a 30% rebate on their meal to be used at some other point this month. In order to get the rebate, you must stop back at the hostess stand after paying for your meal to get a rebate coupon in the amount of 30% of whatever you paid before gratuity. That coupon is like a gift card that you can use on a future meal, but only on the price of the meal, not gratuity. Because the hostess was busy when I was waiting for my rebate, the man at the bar offered to do it for me. This is where I inquired about Kids Day and was told that my waitress could've done it. We happened to be sharing our hibachi table with another family celebrating a birthday. Both of us bought the $10 birthday package. So, after our hibachi show, one of the restaurant's robots brought over two desserts and two birthday crowns with the robot's screen reading happy birthday. Soon after the robot arrived, three staff members came over with instruments and sang happy birthday to the girls. The birthday package includes a cheesecake slice for dessert and a $10 gift card to be used on a future visit. So, we left the restaurant with two future visit coupons. The women's bathroom was clean and well-stocked. *review edited to clean up my typos only*
