Came here to grab a bite for lunch. Got a pre-made sandwich $7.99 and a drink $3.99, I thought this was a little over priced but the sandwich was good. So, I got the Medium sized hot food box and got chicken tenders, lasagna, a meatball, salad w/ tomatoes, lettuce, and cucumbers | macaroni and cheese, and dolmas (Mediterranean rice and beef wrapped with grape leaves. First, the lasagna delicious, it has a great marinara sauce taste and great cheese the lasagna pasta is cooked to Al-dente, 8.2/10. Second, a meatball, this is the best meatball I've ever eaten, the marinara was the same as the lasagna but is still great but the seasoning that are in the meatball are scrumptious, 10/10. Third, the salad, mid, 5.2/10. Fourth, macaroni and cheese, this Mac n cheese is bland no seasoning not even macaroni and no cream, 4.3/10. Fifth, chicken tenders, humongous, 7.3/10. Sixth, dolmas, I'm Arab so I love these but this was disgusting they were cold, small and have onions when not supposed to, 1.3/10 literally spit out. Service great. I received an advertisement newspaper for Amazon Fresh in the mail on 07-07-22. I looked at it and I noticed that they were advertising "Hillshire Farm Smoked Polska Kielbasa Sausage 14 Oz for $1.00 each, no limit". They also advertised "Happy Belly Sharp Cheddar Cheese Sliced 10 Slices, 8 Oz each for $1.00", and "Campbell's Soup Selected Varieties for $1.00 each", and "Nutrition-Grain Bar's Selected Varieties 8 Count for $1.00x each. My brother and I went to this Cerritos, CA Amazon Fresh store to buy these item's since they were advertised for so little. There was a huge long line of people waiting to get into this Amazon Fresh store for all these advertised products. Everybody waited patiently, even us Senior Citizen's. We finally got into the store, and they didn't have any of these advertised products on hand. My Twin Brother and I asked several different Amazon Fresh employee's what happened, and all they could say is "We Musta ran out, Sorry, Try back tomorrow because the sale goes for 07/12/22 to 07/13/22, and we should have these more items on the shelf's by then. My brother and I returned to this store on 07/13/22 at 7 am, which was opening time of the store, and once again there were none of these advertised products. We went over to Customer Service both days and Complained about it, and asked for Help regarding these advertised products, and they couldn't help. We told Amazon Fresh that this was "False Advertising"! We asked them for a "Rain Check on these item's", and or a replacement item of equal value, but they refused to honor either request. We even called Corporate Headquarters Customer Service and they refused to help us out. Alot people had came to Amazon Fresh thinking that they were going to get some good deal's on a few products just to find out that Amazon Fresh Falsely Advertised Many Of They're Products in they're circular just to get people into they're stores. Amazing Fresh even called the Sheriffs out to the store on my brother over this. If you look at they're Yelp Review this store and other Amazon Fresh Stores have many terrible reviews. I have been this store many times because of coupon buy $40 get $20 off. I always go in get my salads and ice cream and with the scanning code I'm done within 10 minutes or less out the door. The reason I give 4 it's because the shelves don't have those things that push the item to the front after people grab the item. I always have hard time to reaching the upper shelves to get the items. read more

I really did not want to write this, but other consumers should know. Initially, my shopping experience was great during this visit. I was greeted by a great employee at the door upon entering the store (per usual), then later on, was approached an employee who happened to be stocking shelves near me. He offered no greeting, reached right in front of me while I was attempting to grab something from the same shelf he was stocking. I said, "Excuse me", then let it go, he said nada, not so much as even make eye contact with me. I get to the checkout point, employee did not offer a greeting and only asked if I wanted bags, again I let it go. Then, when it was time to pay, I was told that I could not use my mailer coupon that I had taken a picture of. How funny, I've done the very same thing at this same location many times before. Manager was rude and condescending. Everyone just seemed to be disgruntled. I won't be returning to this location. read more

Perhaps I've reached the age where I can't keep up with technology anymore because I sure couldn't at Amazon Fresh. I scanned my QR code to enter, but you can enter the market the traditional way by simply pushing your cart through the gate. There are scanners hanging from the ceiling that's supposed to detect what's in your cart, so that when you check out, you scan your QR code and check out. If you're unsure of this, no worries because you can also check out through a cashier. Prices reflect what you see on Amazon Fresh online. It's difficult to see what's on sale because all the tags are electronic and are the same color. I found the exact same cereal where the 18 oz box was cheaper than the 14 oz box because the 18 oz was on sale. The shopping experience was different and variety to me seemed limited. They didn't have any cool or unique foods I was hoping to find like at Whole Foods. I don't think I'll be shopping at Amazon Fresh in-store unless I shop for pick up or look ahead online to see what's on sale prior to going in. I think it takes some adjustment for sure to shop at a place like this. read more

If it hadn't been for the coupon, there's no point of returning. The aisles are so narrow that there can't be a two way system. There's employees stock carts, there's customer carts and it becomes a mess. There must be a company culture of having employees in cliques because every employee had a group of friends. Restocking? 2 employees are chitchatting while restocking in the already narrow aisles. Greeters? Group of them to welcome you in. Cashiers? I really wanted to like this store but I've only been there twice and each time I was charged for items that I did not put in my cart! I really wish they was a way to check what you are being charged for before you scan to leave the store. The last time I went to the store, I did not purchase anything, but I was charged with something that I picked up off the shelf that I was looking at but I put it back on the shelf. I could possibly understand being charged if I put it in my cart then changed my mind and put it back on the shelf but I didn't even have a shopping cart! Great concept but way too many out of stock items. This is not a one time incident. I end up having to shop elsewhere for items that are out of stock, so no time is saved. Also, the pizza cut off times are inconsistent. I would of thought by now the opening kinks would have been resolved but not the case. Hopefully things improve. read more

Amazon fresh is a store just to pick-up a few items over priced on most of there items hard to shop when there employees have there flat cart shopping for online customers you have to wait for them to finish not friendly at all could say hello. I feel this Amazon Fresh store in Cerritos was opened before they were actually ready to be. First off, I've been to a few other Amazon fresh stores and this one is a lot smaller than the Long Beach store. They seem to have hired very young workers that have not been trained properly. They don't know where anything is at. My biggest complaint about this store is that you don't know how much you've spent until a few hours later. I understand the convenience of being able to put items in your bag and basically just walk out of the store afterwards. But you would think they would email you your receipt right away. I asked the worker when I should get the receipt and he said in about 30 min. I go home and check my email and still nothing. It took them 8 hours to give me my receipt. At this point, you don't know how much you spent or if you were overcharged. For someone that has a budget on grocery shopping, this will totally annoy you. It's like shopping blind. And if you want to go through the regular checkout line. Good luck. They have only two counters open and the line is backed up. I feel like this is one of the few instances where technology has taken us back. Unlike other Amazon fresh stores. They have a small screen on each cart that shows you what you put in your cart and how much you've spent. And lastly, good luck trying to return an Amazon package at the store. I bought an item in to return and when you try to put an option in your account to return to the cerritos store, it doesn't pop up. It only shows the Long Beach store. I asked the worker, why would you even have a return center when your store is not set up on the Amazon account yet? And he replied with, "well, some items work and Others don't." Again. They opened this store without working all the kinks first. I hope things get better in the future as we live 2 minutes away. read more

I went this weekend to see if they had Amazon gift cards. I was disappointed to find out that they didn't. Warning!! DO NOT get ripped off by this store. Their salad bar and food bar is priced by box, not by weight, so even if you only fill 1/3 of the box, they still charge you full box price. What's worse is there was no clear sign anywhere to inform you of the prices. I ended up paying $16 for what i usually only pay $5-$6 for at a different amazon fresh store. I'm PISSED OFF. The space is very clean. The fresh pizza is delicious and the price is great! Their baked goods are fresh and delicious.The fish is high quality and fresh for preparing a family meal. The parking is very convenient and close to the market. The store itself is never too crowded and the employees are helpful. read more

The technology is not that great. You are allowed to grab and the sensors will automatically add it to the bill. I was charged for two items when I only bought one. The manager was able to assist me with getting my money back after a gift card I had was not return to me. She went above and beyond to help. While I was there she help an elderly couple with over charge situation. And she did it with a greatful heart. These day customers service has went out the door . I'm not one to post negative reviews but 2 associates in kitchen made me feel not welcomed. I work across the street and I was on my lunch and I decided to come to Amazon Fresh because I love the hot bar food. It was a little after 11am. There were 2 associates taking out the food and I was standing waiting til they finished. Their names were Marcela and Yolanda. I said "good morning" to both of them with a smile and Marcela just looked at me and looked away and Yolanda didn't bother turning. Im guessing Marcela is a manager because she was acting like one. I heard her being rude to an associate in kitchen telling her to hurry up and take out the chickens. She walked away and rolled her eyes like if she was annoyed. So they were now putting the spoons out and I was waiting along with another customer who was waiting to get food from hot bar as well. I guess Marcela and Yolanda didn't know I spoke Spanish cause I heard Yolanda tell Marecela that I was just standing there waiting and that she felt stressed as if I was pressuring her. and Marcela replied with "I know. I hate when people are here waiting for us to finish" in Spanish. It made me feel so bad. I wasn't in the way at all and in no way was I rude. I was just standing in the back on my phone minding my own business. I put the box back and just went to get a slice of Pizza. The young girl in pizza was super helpful and in such good spirits. I don't remember her name but I really appreciated her kindness. If Marcela or Yolanda are the managers here, they need to be trained on customer service. I won't be buying food from hot bar anymore. That's how bad they made me feel. Something is off in this store. It used to be in good spirits and now the store seems dead and the employees seem like they don't want to be there at all. What changed? Store manager, please take your time to train Marcela and Yolanda with their customer service. I won't be going back to kitchen if I see them there. They are just plain RUDE. People that shop here are extremely rude. Some workers are nice and some are not. Reenay speaks very rudely to customers sometimes.

1 star reviews are a little harsh. I'll say 2.5 stars for now. There are definitely issues to work out but it's opening week. But prices are certainly high than other stores, only just a few door buster type sale items most of which were sold out. I could picture myself going and buying a few things out of convenience if I had to return an Amazon item. But it would not be my go-to grocery store. If there was no coupon I might not have bought anything. The Just Walk Out technology is very intriguing though - really cool but also kind of creepy that there are hundreds (thousands?) of cameras following you through the store watching your every move. It did not work perfectly, it charged me for two items when I took only one. Another annoying thing is you get no receipt with Just Walk Out. My email receipt came about 3 hours later which is when I found the error. I contacted Amazon for a refund which I'm sure they'll provide later but you be able to verify everything is correct before you leave the store. I'll give the store another chance in the future...since I have another coupon. read more
