Zero stars. No update on our 10:45pm show, hasnt started playing and no update from staff while we waited for over 30mins. Terrible service and communication. This blank void is only entertainment we have

This AMC has a dine-in experience. You can order food directly to your seat. However, you need to order it before the movie's start time, else you won't be able to place that order from your phone. Moreover, they charge you extra $2 if you order from your phone. You can save this my ordering at the counter( they automatically deliver to your seat).

Watched the movie SINNERS here and it was great. The bathrooms are clean, the food is cooked well, & the seats are comfortable. The Dolby theater they have is amazing with sound and feeling everything. They deliver the food to you which is great. They even fix something if there is a mistake with you food. All in all I will be coming here more often from NY to enjoy the movies.

Spacious, modern, one of the better ones. Friendly customer service. Overall, positive movie experience.

Why such low rating?? This theatre is the nicest AMC theatre I have been to and I have been to over 10 locations! It's located inside the Riverside mall which is an upscale mall. It's impeccably clean with nice decor throughout. Unlike some other ones I have been to, this theatre is a perfect medium size with 6 theatres including a Dolby theatre which is what I love. It's also a dine-in theatre which sells smash burgers in addition to regularly food items, and food is brought to you. I wouldn't mind bringing it myself as it can be a bit interrupting during the movie...so get there earlier if you plan to order food. 30% off early showings if you don't have A list membership. This location is now my favorite theatre for sure. Bathroom is clean and spacious. Clorox wipes are available. It's pretty empty if you go for early showtimes so plenty of social distancing.

See here, the app offers you to order "food & drinks mobile ordering". It does not work here.

Yes, the theater is nice, clean, and comfortable. However, advertisements state you can walk in, sit and get comfortable, then order food right from your seat to be delivered to your seat. Not true. It doesn't make sense to buy tickets through the AMC app, scan your phone with the electronic ticket upon arriving at the theater, and then having to wait on a line to place an order. You can't just go to your seat and order like the app states! I even asked a staff member who confirmed to cannot order from your seat/on the app. You have to physically wait on the concession/ food order line. This defeats the purpose. But, I tried it anyway! I was going to add to my order I physically placed at the counter. It worked up until the app asked me to enter a time I wanted the food delivered to my seat (nice touch it were true). It would not allow me to pick a time so it could not proceed with the order. The app locked up. Very dissatisfied and these tickets are not cheap.

Ask the Community - AMC DINE-IN Shops At Riverside 9

    Is it clean?

Great question...depends on the clientele of the movie. Want a real clean movie theatre, check out one in Tokyo...so clean you could eat off the seats.

Anyone know if there has been more mice in this theater?

    Yes, still some more

Please , I want see the avenger infinity war , but with subtitles in Spanish , do you have?

As of today, May 16, 2018, no subtitles offered at the AMC @ Riverside 9. Perhaps you could try the theaters in Newark or Elizabeth. Buena Suerte!

First of all... you simply cannot beat the pricing!!! All movies beginning before 3pm are just $8! After 3pm, adults are $10 and children (under 12) + senior citizens are $9. Unbeatable prices. You can buy your ticket(s) online and they'll email you the QR code. Note that there's a 50 cent fee. It's located on a busy main street, so street parking can be tough. Luckily there's a free municipal lot around the corner. So if you don't mind walking a block or so, park there! Yes, it's outdated and a little dingy. But I think it adds to the nostalgic charm. Carpets and wallpapers with funky patterns, retro arcade games, antique artifacts, vintage photos... such a throwback! They have a concessions station with your favorite snacks like popcorn, nachos, and candy. Not a lot of food options like the big name theaters, but the prices are a lot lower. You can even get free refills on popcorn and fountain drinks when you purchase the largest size. They only show four movies at a time with limited showtimes, so that can be a drawback. But they do have a good selection of first-run films for both children and adults. Of course, you get what you pay for. This isn't AMC Theatres lol. The theaters are small, so I would suggest coming early during popular times, especially if you're watching a newly released film. There aren't reserved seats, so first come first serve. No stadium seating. The chairs are leather and were comfortable with enough leg room. No recliner. There's a small table with a cup holder for each seat. I didn't experience any technical issues during the movie. Visual and audio quality were clear. They have a surround sound system and the screens were the perfect size. I watched a 6pm showing on a Thursday and had the whole theater to myself. I loved it. You can even book a private event or birthday party. I'll be coming here more often. Keep supporting your local movie theaters :')

But if you can look past that, you'll have a decently comfortable movie experience. PROS: -not as expensive as other locations -25% off tickets before 4pm daily -reserved seating that can be booked online -not as crowded (I avoid the AMC at GSP for this reason) -reclining seats -good amount of leg room -has all the latest movies with variety of showtimes -large screens with quality sound system CONS: -lack of sanitation and cleanliness in the theaters, bathrooms, and concession areas -they don't have as many screening options like Dolby Cinema and Laser Projection -some seats are worn down and/or recliners do not work -parking in the garage can be difficult to find and the layout is confusing -no dine-in options, but offers the basics (popcorn, nachos, icees, hot dogs, pizza, candy, etc.) The facility needs major updates. The staff needs to be more mindful of cleaning and maintenance. There's a bunch of FILTH underneath the theatre seats. On my most recent visit a few weeks ago, there wasn't an employee present to scan and check tickets/payment, so people could just enter as they please. Not the best location, but it does the job.

I wish this venue was closer to me, I'd be there for every hardcore show they put on. For this show there was no barricade; I don't know if that varies from one show to another, but I was happy to see the lack of a barrier when we walked in. The security was just how you want them to be at this kind of show: present and there if needed, but not getting in anyone's way or preventing people from dancing or stagediving. There are two bars in the main area of the Black Box, one at the back, one on the side. And then merch was sold upstairs, and there's another bar there. Snack machines, and candy is also sold at at least one of the bars. I paid $7 for a 12 oz. can of Miller Lite or $9 for Corona, I'm not sure what size that was, 11 or 12 oz. I guess, one of those weird tall, skinny cans. The sound quality here is excellent. They had some lights going on during the bands' sets, but nothing too showy or intrusive. Really, just all around top-quality in terms of sound, stage setup, production. All the employees I encountered were very friendly.
