i honestly think the staff and organization of this place is great. things ran smoothly when i attended here and its very easy to find the bathrooms, theater, and even the theater itself in the parking lot. keep in mind you order your alcohol at the bar and bring it in with you, you can preorder and pick seats online or show up the day of and get them there, you go to the kiosk and order your food because an attendant will deliver your food as the movie is starting. my complaints is how long it took to get the food delivered to us, we were given the wrong pizza, and no napkins or utencils. yeah i know i sound like a spoiled bitch complaining about that, but hey i paid extra money for this kinda service and the option to not be annoying and bother people while i get up and order food, etc. and before i could grab the person who delivered the food--they were gone. they just hand you the food and bounce real quick. there also isnt a bell for me to be annoying and make complaints durinf the movie.i didnt want to stand up and be loud as usual as people were watching movies to bitch they gave me a pizza with bacon and no napkins or utencils. guess who whiped her hands on the seat? yup i did. that being said, my friend enjoyed his flatbread and the pretzel nuggets were good. to be fair, it was like one big pretzel chopped up but it was buttered, salted, and cooked perfectly. also the cheese sauce is amazing! i wouldnt even bother with the honey mustard sauce. we each got a drink before from the bar, i think they need another person working there on saturdays. also the beer is insanely over priced for the size and types they have. the drinks were about 10, which is what i was expecting, but it was good. i got the electric lemonade and it tasted really good. very refreshing and it had 2 or 3 liquors in it so i felt nice for a little bit. keep in mind, i ordered my tickets online and spent about $32 for 2 tickets. the theaters are small, but seats are comfortable. i also felt it was easy to find our seats. they have small lights and numbers written on the carpet--very smart idea. i felt the theater was clean and real fancy, but to be honest i am not always going to want to come here for an expensive date. i think we spent about $100 just to come to the movies which is pretty redic. read more

Nice addition to the riverside mall. Lots of dedicated parking and easy to get to. Very clean and great reclining seats. Took away a star because the line is ALWAYS long and always slow. Saw a dine-in movie but didn't bother with the food. After reading the other reviews I think I will stay out of ordering in the future too.. you really can't compete with ipic with dine in! read more

This new theater is pretty clean since everything including seats, furniture, screens are brand new. Staffs are really friendly but the price of drinks and food is pretty expensive. But I guess all theater food is expensive. Some bigger screen seats are pretty big but smaller screen seats are small but overall, I come here from time to time. The place is a little overpriced but its very clean. There is a seating area which is nicely decorated, simple taste. But there was garbage all over it...good job patrons. The theater seats were great, recliners, very comfortable. We ordered some food which was a mix of okay and good. The flatbread, egh. 100% not worth the price. The sauce wasn't good. The chocolate churros were yummy. You order your food before you go in and they bring it to your seats. You can pick your seats ahead of time which is always nice. Pros: Super Clean, Modern, Very Comfortable with reserved seating, plus a Bar, which is very nice to bring a beer or cocktail into the show. Cons: Terrible, and I mean TERRIBLE service at the food counter. We were the only people there and I counted seven workers behind the counter all chatting and flirting and acting like they were hanging out, rather than working. The woman 'helping' us left the counter FOUR times to run over and chat with the group. Of course the order was incorrect and she had to waste our time by starting all over again. Even this did not deter her from shouting to another coworker to 'hold on; I want to talk to you' while she was re-entering our order. The food isn't anything special. Definitely not worth the aggravation. We will go back for the beautiful, comfortable theater. But we will eat elsewhere before or after the show, which pretty much defeats the Dine-In concept. What they need is some professional customer service training and on-going supervision to make this place a big hit! read more

Went to see Top Gun: Maverick last Tuesday, got there about 45 minutes before the movie started. Proceeded to order food through the app, added everything to the cart, total came out to $115 for 4 people. Pressed submit, charged my card but order kept canceling. App was not working properly so had to stand in line to order food. Ordered the pretzel bites 5/5, large popcorn 3/5, cheeseburger 4/5 with fries, chipotle chicken melt with loaded fries 4/5, 2 chicken tenders were super dry and hard also with loaded fries 1/5, 2 hotdogs 5/5. Food came pretty fast less than 25 min, but it was cold. First time at a dine in theater, pretty cool but would only stick to a hotdog & pretzel bites next time! read more

We'd been told by friends that the food was "myeh" but we though we'd give it a try; our friends were right, the food is not good but it is very expensive! The seats and extra comfy and plush, the theater screen was very sharp and I don't think we heard much noise bleeding over from the other movies playing. It's located in the mall so plenty of parking available. There a lot about this Theater that are really nice, and a lot of things that could use some work! The theater itself, is beautiful! Its huge, its clean, and well decorated! I felt like I was in a hotel lobby! The seats in the theaters are nice, leather recliners, but, rather on the small side compared to some other theaters I have been too. Each recliner has a tray attached to it, for you to put your food on (Ill get to the food later). The trays are on a swivel, so if you're eating you can put it infront of you, but if you are not eating you can easily move it to the side. I thought that the trays were also on the small side, I'd say close to an air plane tray size. We ordered our tickets ahead of time, so we already had our tickets and seat number before even walking in. I would recommend ordering your tickets online, so that you could pick your seats! Great feature, so if youre running late, you know your guaranteed seats and won't be stuck in the first row. You also need your seat number to order the dine in food, so rather than waiting on an additional line, if you have you seats already you can go straight to the concession stand to order. We were here on a Wednesday night, and it was pretty packed! It was the night before Teachers Convention (for those of you who don't live in New Jersey, Teachers Convention Weekend, means all schools are closed Thursday an Friday), so it seemed as though everyone had the same idea to head to the movies. They were clearly not prepared! They only had one bartender, so to order a drink took easily 25 minutes. The bartender was working hard though, considering he was by himself, and some people were ordering mixed drinks, which we all know take a while to make. There were only two people working the concession stand, and two people running the food to the theaters. So, I was under the impression that you sat at your seat, ordered your food from your seat and it was delivered to you. Not quite, you have to order at the stand, give them your seat number and then someone brings you your food when it is ready, so keep that in mind AND make sure you give yourself enough time to do all that! We missed 10 minutes of the movie, they were short staffed, and a little on the slow side. Everyone was super nice though, they do have a few kinks to work out. The drinks and food, well, they have beer, wine and mixed drinks to pick from. Prices are, a tad high! I order an Angry Orchard, and it was $9!! The mixed drinks, started anywhere from $10 to $16. The food, ehh, they offer some apps, salads, burgers, and of course popcorn, and candy. The food was alright, id say equivalent to diner food, nothing super delicious. Personal opinion, there are so many dinner options in the mall, you are better off eating there and then going to the movie. I found the whole experience, kind of annoying! I rather grab dinner and drinks first and then head to a movie to sit back, relax and watch! Enjoy! read more

This place recently opened so decided to try it out. I enjoyed they open area lounge atmosphere they have. Between the big screen TV, bar, and concession stand...this was good. Ordered my food and they were so quick in delivering my food to me, they did it before the movie started. (Probably cause there were a lot of previews) The movie I watched was good, but the service was even better. Even the prices for food and drink was worth it cause you get a lot of bang for your buck. What a let down AMC! I was very excited about the AMC dine in chain coming to North NJ. This theater should not be allowed to be called a dine in because it is completely different from all other AMC dine in theater experiences. I asked where to order food and was directed to the regular consession line.( Previously we could order from our seats.) Then i had to wait on a second line to order wine. Why would they downgrade the level of service? Come on. So now if I want a second glass of wine, i have to leave during the movie. The chairs are also not nearly as comfortable. To make matter worse, wine in a plastic cup and plastic utensils.Yes its very nice in the lobby, however, I would rather go to IPic. This is a shame. I recommended this place to so many people I will not be returning here unless they go back to the regular dine in style. read more

Drinks cost more than high-end cocktail lounges in NYC (and are also incredibly weak). I probably should have known better, but $17 for a cocktail that filled 1/4th of the bottom of the glass was like a slap in the face for duration of the three hour movie. The auditorium was very clean, and I enjoyed the reclining seats. It would have been a value if I didn't taint the experience with trying to get a drink. The decor is weird for a theater. It feels so bright and shiny, like the Nintendo story in Rock Center. The place this is weirdest is in the bathroom where the white tile makes you intensely aware of every puddle near the urinal and on the ground since white anything needs a lot more rapid attention.... All in all, the seats (full recline for near front seats helped), and assigned seating was great. I've accepted the markup on Popcorn and Soda - but the markup for alcohol was downright value draining. read more

The movie theater is great. Seats very comfortable and screen view perfect. However the food service is terrible. You order at the snack counter, where they are clueless and poorly trained. We did not find out til the food was delivered in crummy takeout containers that we were supposed to get our own utensils, condiments, and napkins!!! The wings and fries were cold, no catsup for the fries, no fork for the coleslaw. There is no service at the seat except drop off of the food. If you want an adult beverage you buy it at their bar and carry to your seat. The cashier also wanted to charge over $5 each for cups for water. (They do not have bottled water.) If you want to enjoy the dine in movie experience go elsewhere, like IPIX in Fort Lee. If you want to see a movie and have a nice dinner before or after, come here for the movie and enjoy one of the many good restaurants at this mall. read more

Very disappointed considering it's in an upscale location and could have really been impressive. Oh.. a large soda is $6.59 !!!! But you get free refills! The dine in portion of this is very misleading which is why I gave only 2 stars. To sum it up, they deliver food to your seat, BUT you must order it from the front of the theatre where you buy popcorn and candy. I thought you would be able to order food and drinks from in the theater either via a waiter or app. Needless to say we did not get anything during our 2.5 hour movie and didn't realize you couldn't order from your seat until after the movie started. The meat in the burgers just tasted bad, was over cooked, and had very thin patty. The chicken chipotle flatbread barely had chicken. It was like a chicken pâté. Ew. They serve the food in closed take out containers which makes the fries soggy. Waste of plastic, just use plates. You have to order food before you go in. The tables are the size of an airplane fold down table and it's dark which makes it hard to see what you're eating. Also other dine in movies allow you to order at your seat which this one does not. The customer service was ok up until the long the server shoved the food into my lady's face. A couple of napkins and no ketchup.... Overall comfortable seats and pricing it what you expect for this mall location. read more

I've gone here plenty of times. The seats are always a plus because they are comfortable. But the service could definitely be better. One time they rang up our food but never brought it to us until I complained half way through the movie. They brought the food to us when the movie was already ending but they did offer us movie vouchers to make up for it. This movie theater is very clean. I was running late so waiting in line to order food was pretty annoying but the line moved very quickly. There was no line at the bar so we were able to at least get nice IPAs. Ordered their burger and came during previews. Food was delivered and apparently they are not allowed to take tips. For theater food, I thought the burgers were pretty good. I think the price is reasonable considering you get used to paying top dollars for soda and popcorn at the theaters. Overall, very comfortable seats, can order beer and food. I would definitely recommend coming here instead of going to AMC at the garden state. read more

Terrible customer service & poorly maintained facilities! We ordered a chocolate milkshake & nachos. The food wasn't delivered until the movie was more than halfway done. The server brought no napkins or utensils. And when I asked the server for some forks, he seemed confused. I had to repeat the request a couple times until he finally promised to bring some. He never returned. The chocolate milkshake has a brownie hooked onto the side of the cup which napkins would have been handy for. And the nachos are just too messy to eat without utensils or napkins. Even worse, the chocolate milkshake was frozen - a giant piece of frozen chocolate syrup was in the middle of the shake and there were chunks of ice throughout the rest of it. My BF had to go & get napkins & utensils for us. As for the restrooms, there was toilet paper all over the floor. Staff was hanging out at the front and near the stairs chatting. Clearly, they were not trained properly & have no idea how to serve food or maintain the premises. In comparison to the stores & restaurants here, this establishment doesn't fit in at all. read more

Worst dine-in theater. Limited menu selection and at the time we went which was Friday night, half of the menu is not available. Unlike other AMC dine-in theaters where they have full service dine in, here your only option is to order from, again the limited menu selection, the concession and they deliver to your seat. Line is so long we ended up missing first few minutes of our movie. I thought dine in theaters is where you can just sit back, order food and relax. At least that's what other AMC dine in theaters are and iPic. The tables also are so small. The seats seem to be smaller than other recliner seat theaters. They are in a high-end mall yet it does not live up to its location. I'm definitely not coming back unless they change their concept to what a dine theater is suppose to be. read more

I went to watch fifty shades freed. The movie setting was pretty comfy, as I wasn't so familiar with the shopping area I had to ask directions and use the mall map to find the theatre. It carries it's flagship lazy boy chairs, unfortunately mine wasn't working so I wasn't 100 % happy.... but I was stop cozy in my seat. The ticket price was a bit I suppose ok. read more
