Dirty cup holders and buttons for reclining chairs.
Kodais M.

Smelled like a boys locker room on the walk in. Paid $52 for 2 tickets to Michael Jackson. Our seat cup holders and buttons for the reclining access was dirty. I make my way to front to ask for my own wet naps, but they sent someone who didnt bring any cleaning spray, but had dry napkins. On the exit, the movie theatre was absolutely disgusting w popcorn and garbage all over the floors. Wont be returning.

We went for Captain America last weekend. Usually we would be able to get the seats before actual movie time but that day they didn't let anyone in until the actual movie time. It was weird to me. I was not sure if they needed extra time to clean or it was a new thing they were implementing. Other than that, standard service with food counter. Definitely a long line if you are not AMC Stubs A-List, Premiere, or Premiere GO. Bathroom was clean that day, wonderful.

IMAX 3D is the only way in my book.

It's a bird... it's a plane... no, it's Superman! Ah, the nostalgia! As a kid, I was utterly captivated by the adventures of Superman, especially those starring the legendary Christopher Reeve. I watched those films on repeat, so much so that I once (or twice... or multiple times) tried to blame my mischief on Lex Luthor--sorry, Mom! The original Superman movies hold a special place in my heart, and they always will. So, you can only imagine my excitement when I heard that James Gunn was stepping up to reboot the franchise with a fresh, comic-accurate, and lighthearted twist. It felt like a burst of kryptonite-fueled joy! After watching the latest installment, I left the theater buzzing with excitement for what's to come. James Gunn has certainly added a delightful new chapter to my summer movie lineup, and I can't wait for more super adventures! Up, up, and away!

Opened on May 25, 2007, this theater is the successor to the old Route 4 tenplex. The AMC Garden State 16 is attached to Garden State Plaza, located in Paramus, where my partner and I came today to watch "Wicked," based on a Broadway musical, in one of the 15 screens. It's a plot that follows the origin story of Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, a character from "The Wizard of Oz." The reservation was easily made via the AMC app, which was really helpful and convenient as well. One doesn't have to rush to get a good seat anymore. The newer or blockbuster movies will play on the larger screens. We ended up in theater 13. It's a good room with large screens. However, with a running time of two hours and 40 minutes, the seats don't recline, so they are very uncomfortable to sit in for long periods of time. We've seen the Broadway show but preferred the movie version; we can recommend this place.

This AMC is huge. So many theaters inside the AMC at Garden State Plaza.

A few weeks ago, I saw Monkey Man at AMC Garden State Plaza with my husband. This was the only location where we could catch the movie when we were able to see it. We'd never seen a movie at this AMC before. The AMC at Garden State Plaza Mall is HUGE. It seemed like we were walking the longest halls, passing so many theaters. The one for Monkey Man was all the way at the end. These are large theaters, too. Each was over 200 seat capacity. The only negative was that - at least for our theater - the seats were not reclining chairs. My husband needed to stretch his legs and walk around after the movie.

Great IMAX theater and exceptional sound system.

Attended the Oppenheimer viewing at this AMC's IMAX theater and I was.... no pun intended.... BLOWN AWAY! The theater is large, every aisle is clean, the seats are comfortable, the screen is very large, and the sound system is phenomenal. I thought, that nothing could give NYC's 68th Street, Lincoln Center IMAX theater competition, but this one does! I will, most definitely, return to the AMC Garden State IMAX and highly recommend it.

They have roaches!

Absolutely Disgusting Experience This was by far the WORST movie theater experience I've ever had. AMC should be ashamed of this location. The place was filthy--floors sticky, bathrooms reeking, trash everywhere, and the seats looked like they hadn't been cleaned in forever. The staff and management were rude, unprofessional, and clearly didn't care about the customer experience. I asked a basic question about my ticket and got nothing but attitude. The final straw? I ordered food and found a ROACH in it.(mind you that I had ate my whole bag and found it at the bottom) and Disgusting doesn't even begin to cover it. I showed it to management, and they barely reacted--no apology, no refund, nothing. Just acted like it wasn't their problem. And here's the thing: I KNOW they're going to try to cover this up. Places like this always do. But I have photo proof, and I'm not afraid to share it. People deserve to know the truth about how nasty and mismanaged this theater is. Avoid this place at all costs.

This is a great AMC theater because you can watch movies like a king and enjoy every second of the movie in a comfortable chair.

Big theater with 3d IMAX available, and a virtual viewing experience Dreamscape. Stopped in for Avatar 2. The counters for snacks were understaffed and the soda machines were ok. No one was at the ticket counters whatsoever, so if you have an issue with the machine you have to figure it out yourself or try to call someone over. Theater for IMAX was comfortable, though the middle armrests don't move up all the way so sitting with a date can be uncomfortable. Side angles were okay in row d, but further up I can see that would be a challenge for 3d.

They lazily and greedily got rid of their cash optional kiosks, and force customers to buy a Mastercard. Greediest of the greedy I swear

This is a fine place to catch a flick, but it's usually mobbed with people as it's located inside the Garden State Plaza Mall.

There's something charming about an old school movie theater. Teaneck Cinemas is an affordable and…read moreenjoyable option for watching newly released films. First of all... you simply cannot beat the pricing!!! All movies beginning before 3pm are just $8! After 3pm, adults are $10 and children (under 12) + senior citizens are $9. Unbeatable prices. You can buy your ticket(s) online and they'll email you the QR code. Note that there's a 50 cent fee. It's located on a busy main street, so street parking can be tough. Luckily there's a free municipal lot around the corner. So if you don't mind walking a block or so, park there! Yes, it's outdated and a little dingy. But I think it adds to the nostalgic charm. Carpets and wallpapers with funky patterns, retro arcade games, antique artifacts, vintage photos... such a throwback! They have a concessions station with your favorite snacks like popcorn, nachos, and candy. Not a lot of food options like the big name theaters, but the prices are a lot lower. You can even get free refills on popcorn and fountain drinks when you purchase the largest size. They only show four movies at a time with limited showtimes, so that can be a drawback. But they do have a good selection of first-run films for both children and adults. Of course, you get what you pay for. This isn't AMC Theatres lol. The theaters are small, so I would suggest coming early during popular times, especially if you're watching a newly released film. There aren't reserved seats, so first come first serve. No stadium seating. The chairs are leather and were comfortable with enough leg room. No recliner. There's a small table with a cup holder for each seat. I didn't experience any technical issues during the movie. Visual and audio quality were clear. They have a surround sound system and the screens were the perfect size. I watched a 6pm showing on a Thursday and had the whole theater to myself. I loved it. You can even book a private event or birthday party. I'll be coming here more often. Keep supporting your local movie theaters :')

Watched The Devil Wears Prada and the whole experience was just great. Staff was friendly and accommodating from start to finish. The food and drinks were a highlight too -- I had the pear infused ginger mule which I highly recommend: well balanced, not too sweet, just right. We also got sweet potato fries and chicken nachos for sharing. The nacho portion was generous -- we couldn't finish it. IPic already sets a high bar for the movie theater experience, but this location clears it. Looking forward to many more movies here. Also, there is a parking lot across the street.
