It was me and my family's first time going to a LOOK Cinema since we wanted a dine-in experience. Safe to say, I'll stick to other movie theaters. We decided to give this spot a try while watching the new Michael movie. The man who serviced us is friendly but got confused with the order; had to send back one of the trays. The food was very mediocre and overpriced, and I could've honestly bought popcorn for the movie and eat an actual fine dine meal after. I also think our theater screen wasn't clean; because throughout the whole movie I can see a noticeable smudge(?) across the right side of the screen. Seats weren't best quality. Yes it can recline, but so does AMC. There really isn't anything "luxurious" about the place. In total, our three average meals costed about $80. An OK experience, will personally stick to AMC for future showings though. read more

One of the best cinemas I have ever went to. It was better than the movies itself. It has an excellent array of surrounding restaurants.

We visited this Dine-In theater expecting a combination movie and restaurant experience, like we had in the past at other Dine-In Theaters. While there were some positives, several aspects of the experience were disappointing. The theater itself was comfortable, with a good temperature and very comfortable seating. The extra crispy crinkle fries and popcorn with extra butter were also very good. However, the overall dine-in experience did not meet expectations. Orders were placed through a QR code system, and while the employee who delivered our food was friendly, we never received the napkins, silverware, or condiments that were requested in our order. I eventually had to leave the movie to find someone for those items myself. Additionally, we were charged an $8.10 "living wage fee," which felt difficult to justify given the limited service provided. There were also technical issues during the movie. Shortly after it started, the sound stopped completely. Although it was eventually restored, the volume continued fluctuating between loud and quiet for some time before the issue was finally resolved. It appeared there were very few employees working at the time. The food quality was inconsistent, especially considering the pricing. The queso and chips cost $12 and was a 4oz cup that we did not enjoy. Drinks were also expensive, including a $2.15 charge for a cup of ice water, and there were no refills. In total, we spent about $57 on: * 2 kids meals * popcorn * ice water * chips and queso * living wage fee I don't mind paying higher prices when the food and service match the cost, but in this case the value did not feel justified. At this theater, I would recommend going primarily for the movie, seating, and popcorn rather than the food experience. One final suggestion: reconsider the queso recipe and portion size, especially for Texas customers at that price point. read more

I ended up at look twice this weekend. The first to use an email coupon I had received to try out their new location, as I had been on their email list for the Colleyville location that had closed. The second was for a special screening of Sinners a local filmmaker put on. So both visits I splurged a bit more on food than I might have otherwise done. First visit I got the thunderbolts special drink, which was very tasty! I would get it again if I knew it would be there my next visit. I got the chicken fajita quesadilla, which had been a favorite the first time I had been at look. I recommend getting it with chips and salsa vs fries like I did. That visit they did give me a heads up they charge $2 for a cup of water when I ordered it to come with my drink. My second visit we did their two for 29.99. You can get a starter, which we opted for the pretzel bites. Which was heavy on the butter but not the salt. I got the pizza was fine, but I could only eat about 2 slices of before feeling full. I tried a bite of the chicken strips, which was tasty. They tasted like they had been cooked in pickle juice. Though I wish they were a little bigger. Staff did amazing both visits. They seemed to bring seats I remembered from Look in the first theater I was in; but in the second my husband figured out they had put seat covers over the already existing seats. Which based on the old movie tavern seats, the leather had been torn up; hence the covers until they hopefully replace them. The one issue I noticed wasn't us, but another group thought the movie tavern call buttons still worked and had needed help but didn't want to get up to miss the movie. It wasn't clear that only the QR codes could request a server. So, hopefully they can get those call buttons removed to help reduce understandable confusion. When I do come back, if I'm paying full price for the ticket I may just get movie snacks vs a meal & just eat at a local spot nearby. If I'm coming during a special price time I may consider trying something new or getting another special drink. read more

Went on Friday at 7pm for Wicked opening. It was not crazy busy. When we walked in, we immediately noticed the new nice decor. There were many people in the bar area with plenty of high top tables available. We were guided to the kiosk on the right to print our tickets (purchased online- you choose print ticket then scan your code) or you can purchase tickets there. Printer spits out a ticket. There were signs on ticket counter notifying of 18% living wage service fee for non-bar orders. Non-bar orders = anything ordered once you're in the theatre. Once in theatre, we scanned the QR code and placed our order and paid online. There was no place to add tip so the "living wage service fee" is ultimately them ensuring that the staff get tipped. I don't have a problem with that. The seat covers are nice than the previous tattered ones. Place was clean & a comfortable temperature. Once the previews started and the seats finally filled up, staff started coming around to see if they could take your order. Multiple people checked on us and were all pleasant although it was hard to hear them by that point. We paid $1 for a large water in a cup and $12 for a decent margarita. I did not see a concession you could order your own snacks so I assume it's order from theatre or in the bar area. Because of not great reviews on the food, we ate at close by Lupes before the movie which has super fast service (average tex mex). Will try cinema food in future hopefully. The bartender, River, was genuinely nice and served my husband's finicky drink order with a smile and some great conversation. I didn't catch the name of our waiter in the theater but he was also extremely pleasant and the food was served quickly and was very tasty. I highly recommend this place. I am going to sound like an old hag for this review but here we go. I have been coming to this "location" since 1998. This placed used to be located at the Urban Air park. It must have gone through several ownerships by now like Movie Tavern before moving next door into the old "Sack n' Save" building next to the old Blockbuster. I know I am dating myself with those references. My next point is being that movie theaters died after the Covid-19 Pandemic. I lowered my expectations for movie theaters accordingly but saw Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning as our first movie in this building under new ownership. For the most part, this building under new management didn't change much except for the service. We arrived 15 minutes early before the movie and ordered our refreshments immediately. We ordered a simple Coke and Diet Coke, alongside a popcorn. It's not like we ordered burgers or chicken tenders. A simple popcorn and two drinks order took them 35 minutes to complete. They brought our order well into when Tom Cruise was doing Tom Cruise things. The food runners did not bring any napkins for the popcorn, which is a good thing because the popcorn had barely any butter on it, if any. Unlike Movie Tavern, this "small" bowl of $8 popcorn did not afford us any refills. I say bowl very loosely here because this was a silver tin "salad" bowl of popcorn. I might as well have made an Orville Redenbacher at home. The popcorn tasted like it was made when the first theater opened in 1998, but stale popcorn is part of any movie experience. read more

What a horrible and unacceptable experience at the Bedford location of LOOK Cinemas. Movie started at 4:00 pm but was rudely greeted by a young girl who told us that we would not be allowed to go into the theater until right at 4pm. The music was so loud in the lobby that we felt like we were at a concert with a rock band playing head banging music. Where were the noise canceling headphones when you needed it?! There was popcorn strone throughout the hallway almost like we were on our own little Easter egg hunt. Employees were aimlessly walking around in the hallway. No soap in the women's or men's bathroom so I know good and well none of the employees had clean hands. The only courteous and helpful employees where the young man who was sweeping and throwing trash away in the theater and the young man who delivered our drinks. The rest of the employees were rude and not helpful at all. Sad experience. Not a good look for Look... first time guests and probably last time guests. Sad. read more

I was glad to hear that the old Movie Tavern location had opened back up as LOOK. We invited some friends and headed out to see Lilo and Stitch. I was looking forward to introducing my friends to the theater as they had never been to that theater before. As I walked in the theater it looked the same as what I was used to which is a good thing. You walk in and immediately see the restaurant/bar to the right and the ticket counter to the left. Everything looks well kept, clean, and sophisticated. As I was walking up to the ticket counter searching for my email with the tickets attached, I was greeted by the ticket attendant. I said, I'm having trouble finding the ticket email and wondered if there was a way for him to search my phone number or email address to find it, he said "no" and continued to wait, he didn't seem very helpful. I finally found the email and we made our way to our seats. Our friends were waiting for us already in the theater and they were impressed with the set up but needed some guidance on where/ how to order using the QR code on our seat table. We had some questions on the menu so we requested a waiter come to our seat to take our order. The waiter was very nice and helpful explaining that galactic popcorn was popcorn with blue M&Ms, which didn't peek our interest. We order a regular popcorn, mozzarella sticks, a cherry Icee, a mudslide and a baja rice bowl that we were going to share. The movie started, we were all reclined in our cozy seats and the world was great. Little by little orders started coming out, we got our drinks and the small bites which included the mozzarella sticks and popcorn. The waiters bustling around wasn't a huge distraction but it does take away from the movie experience. The sticks were delicious, but eat them while they are nice and gooey. The mudslide was fantastic, but I was left wondering if they forgot the alcohol. My daughter had the popcorn which is a must for her at the movies. My daughter almost immediately started complaining that her tummy was hurting and she thought that it was due to the popcorn. I popped a few kernels in my mouth and something wasn't right, the popcorn was tasteless and stale. My wife took my daughter to the restroom as her upset stomach made her feel like she was going to throw up. While they were away my rice bowl arrived, I mixed up my rice bowl and took a few bites. The flavors were amazing and I was happy with my choice, going outside of the box ordering the rice bowl, until... one bite was off, there was something fighting my bite. It felt like the skin of corn that had freezer burn. Then another bite, this time it felt like a pebble, another roasted corn that didn't quite soften up during cooking. The rest of the bowl was so good, I didn't want to give up. I tried eating around the corn, but it was no use, I had spit out about 10 rock hard corn kernels and finally gave in. My wife and daughter returned having missed some key parts of the movie but at least she didn't throw up. She wasn't the same the rest of the movie as her tummy continued to hurt through the next day. My wife was also looking forward to the rice bowl and I warned her of my experience. She took a small bite similar to what I had done and was wonderfully surprised by the explosion of flavors. The small bite may have given her a false sense of security as her next big bite was met with a surprise corn that she said almost chipped her tooth. I took the popcorn and the rice bowl and went to find a manager. Finally found one in the kitchen near the theater we were in and explained the situation. He listened and defended the popcorn, but had nothing to say about the rice bowl. He picked a corn kernel out of the bowl and confirmed what I was telling him. He graciously gave me a refund on the rice bowl, but wasn't kind enough to refund the popcorn. Oh ya and the movie kept rolling while I was dealing with all of this. Our friends had a similar experience, their son didn't like the popcorn either and threw up later that night when they got home and their daughter had the worst Mac n cheese. Overall not a good first experience at LOOK. I don't recall ever having this many issues over the years of going to Movie Tavern, but maybe I can place that on the recent opening and new employees learning the ropes. It's still a great place to watch a movie if your not bothered by waitstaff milling around during the movie, but don't count on the food including the movie staple of popcorn. read more

I'm from Paducah, Kentucky here for my mom's memorial and to comfort my son who is disabled and lost his grandmother also my mom. He wanted to enjoy a movie and popcorn on Friday night. As you can imagine we don't have theaters like this where I live. I was shocked and impressed by the theater itself. But the best experience by far was the service and kindness of Fallon and Aaron. I will forever be grateful to them for caring for us the way they did that evening. They made his night happy during such a hard time. Thank you for hiring such kind hearted people to service us. The theater was clean but not necessarily well maintained. Our tray tables slanted down towards the floor so much that you couldn't put your food on them or it would slide off. Also, at some point they interrupted us to ask if we had any trash but when we hit the button to request a refill they never came. A disappointing experience overall. read more

Don't be fooled by the new look. The insides the same and we didn't have a great experience. Seats were broken and dirty, we never got the email for our tickets but were helped at the front which seems to be happening to others, AND it took 3 waitresses to finally tell us at the end of our movie that there were no blue icees. We ordered in the beginning of the 3 plus hr movie and told 3 people in person that we didn't receive our drink yet... and yet no refund was given when we asked for one. read more

The new one in Bedford is a joke! It is very unorganized, can't even enjoy your movie because employees keep coming to your seat, multiple employees! Food is cold and not cooked thoroughly. I came here on Friday May 23. Came to see mission impossible: the final reckoning. It all started when I bought my tickets first off why is the movie rated r while on google it's rated pg13? Another thing was the seating chart was weird I had 4 tickets sitting together but they were separate due to handicapped seating. Another thing was the food. DONT GET ME STARTED. We placed my food. Got my things right but the pizza tasted like digiorno's and the popcorn was microwaved popcorn. Another thing as I came to see the movie with more people they got their food and drinks 2 HOURS after placing the order while they're more employees in shift and nobody helped us. Don't got to enjoy my movie due to these circumstances. We need movie tavern back not this type of joke. This place need way better service and remodeling. Everything here was expensive as $52 4 tickets, $30 meal. And just not a good environment. Just recommended you to go to another movie theater than this. DONT COME TO THIS PLACE. read more
