This theater has been my go-to for the last 4 years now, and I've never once had a bad experience!! On Thursday Feb. 20th our movie was interrupted about three quarters of the way through by the fire alarms going off, and everyone made their way outside surprisingly quick and calmly. I really wanted to show some extra appreciation to the staff that was working during the time, especially the young lady that I assume was the supervisor on duty. They were all so understanding, informative and so well organized. They gave us tickets to use at another time and also even gave us a refund on the tickets to the movie we were watching. They kept us informed that we could wait to see if we could resume our movies once fire responders cleared the building. We were able to get back into the theater within about 15 minutes, and they even went back about 10 minutes into the movie so we had time to use the restroom and/or get snacks. I just want to reiterate how great the staff was that night, and show some appreciation for the supervisor who stayed level headed, calm and respectful despite how chaotic everything was. My girlfriend and I had a terrible experience as we watched the most antisapated horror film of the year. The person sitting next to us would not only stop talking but her phone was reflecting a flashing text message light throughout the film. Also, during the climax of the movie (which made no sense) a random couple came into the theater and demanded another couple leave their seats. This ruined the entire movie for everyone on the left side of the theater no question as expletives were being exchanged. Finally, to top it all off as well, upon asking "Miguel" to comp our tickets he refused stating "we should have advised them sooner" as if we were going to leave the theater at that time. Extremely unprofessional and overall just a sad experience. As a AMC Stubs A-List Member AND Stockholder none of what transpired yesterday was acceptable. This place has gone down hill so much. It looks so trashy from the outside. The inside isn't much better. We were supposed to have reclining seats but they didn't recline which was annoying. Would I return? No. The parking was already a hassle because they share the parking lot with Costco so be prepared to spend a while finding a spot or it might be a far walk. I was a bit confused at first because we had a dine-in movie ticket which was in a separate building and the other building was the regular theater. Upon entering, the place seems average and not too busy. I liked that you were able to order the food from a kiosk and the employees bring it to your seat in the theater. We tried to get a drink at the bar which was busy but none of the employees even acknowledged us after we were trying to grab their attention so that was annoying. The movie theater looked nice and luckily our seats reclined without any problems. However, you can tell this theater isn't thorough with its cleaning procedures because everything was either sticky or greasy. My table had some spills on there and the seats had residue from the cleaner they used so it was a bit sticky. The cup holder was also filled with crumbs and trash. Although the theater left a horrible impression, the food was actually decent. I would definitely order the chicken quesadillas again! I like that they provided guacamole and sour cream with a side of chips and salsa. The quesadillas were warm and fresh. The cheese ratio was generous and their chicken was flavorful. My only complaint would be that the chips were probably store-bought and not freshly made in-house because they were very thick, cold, and stale. Wish I could've tried more of the food and drinks but I will be going to one of their other dine-in theater locations. read more

This has always been a run-down theater but my experience here tonight was the last straw and I won't be coming back. The theater was absolutely freezing. And I mean it was like "sitting in a freezer" freezing. I finally went out to the lobby to thaw myself and ask if they could turn the a/c off, and the girl behind the counter said the sensor was broken but refused to turn it off because "then it won't be able to turn back on and it will get too hot in there." It's the middle of winter and it was the last showing of the night. A group of people were literally doing jumping jacks in the back of the theater to try to warm up. We stuck it out through the rest of the movie but I could barely focus because all I could think about was how cold I was. It's 57 degrees outside right now and it was warmer outside than in the theater. Unacceptable. read more

In February 2025, I went to see a movie with my son when the fire alarm suddenly went off. As we were exiting the theater, I noticed smoke coming from the kitchen area and heard sirens approaching. As any responsible parent would do, I made the decision to immediately leave the premises. Mind you, the LA fires had just occurred a month prior and that was still very fresh in everyone's mind. I assumed that, under the circumstances, the staff would be more than understanding and replace our tickets without an issue. However, when I returned five months later to request new tickets, my request was immediately denied. I explained that I had a toddler at home and had also been out of the country for two months. Unfortunately, the two managers I spoke to (both white females) were condescending and antagonistic. Both claimed they had been working that evening and insisted, "There was no fire." Now, the fire alarm was activated, I saw smoke, and heard sirens. I made a reasonable choice not to wait around and risk potential danger. When I asked for their names to file a formal complaint, they refused to provide them, saying they didn't feel "comfortable," even though I was respectful throughout our interaction, did not use foul language, didn't raise my voice, nor was I threatening in my demeanor. As a longtime AMC customer for over 20 years and a frequent A-List member, I was extremely disappointed by how this situation was handled. After that interaction, I immediately reached out to AMC online and they responded promptly and issued replacement tickets. So this situation could've been handled by the managers with basic professionalism and empathy, but they simply chose not to. Needless to say I will not be going to AMC Fullerton anymore, and I hope AMC takes steps to ensure better training and accountability going forward. read more

I was in auditorium 1 and this couple in the front kept interrupting the movie and using there cellphone throughout the movie being so rude . When the movie came to finish a professional officer greeted us guest and advise to make sure everyone cleared auditorium in a safety manner since it was after hours 1:32am. Apparently the rude couple started to be disrespectful to the officer and made his job hard by ignoring him and hanging out inside the auditorium and not wanting to leave I had to step in and say hey this ain't your house leave or I will be calling the police for disrespecting the kind officer who has been nothing but respectful to everyone and by the way you made my movie experience poorly with y'all talking and taking video while the movie was playing shameful on you guys for not respecting others watching the movie . I was a big fan of this place originally. You sit down comfortably and push a button to be served after perusing the menu. You could order during the show... I went to see The Little Mermaid opening weekend and I. Was. Pissed. Ok, fine - you don't get served during the show and they took away the buttons. But WHY did I have to LEAVE THE WHOLE THEATER, walk OUTSIDE past the box office, across to the OTHER theater, stand in line and wait for my food? (After ordering at the kiosk which was whack in itself). THEN there's not really a good way to carry a bunch of stuff; there's no one to help you. Fortunately, the ticket-taking employee saw me at the door and took enough pity to open the door for me as I had gotten food for my two companions (don't think there even was anything for me). I wasn't aware of any of this and missed the first ten mins of the movie. WON'T be back unless I catch wind they've reverted to form. I swore by this place, too. Been going here for awhile. Gourmet Menu is fire. They cater to your seat after you order. Love that the seats recline alot more here, but they're kind of due for replacements. I personally find it to be a distraction from the movie but my kids love it so we'll come here when they want to see something. All in all AMC has a good selection of food with some vegetarian options as well as a full bar. Food tastes pretty good, although a little pricey which is too be expected at any theater. Chairs are leather recliners with tray tables and cup holders. I belong to A-List which shows I enjoy this theater chain above others. read more

DO NOT GO Here. I recently went to see Wicked. A patron in the seat in front of me opted to pull out her phone and video record every song throughout the movie. It was highly distracting and made the movie experience awful. I finally had enough of it and went and spoke with the mgr, they basically shrugged and said they'd look into it. They didn't try to address the issue at all, no warning to the person, no announcement, nothing. I can understand why movie theaters are failing, the experience is generally poor and getting worse as people seem to have forgotten how to act in shared spaces. read more

AMC Fullerton on Lemon is my local AMC theater. The theater is separated into two sides. One side has the kitchen and dine in at your seat and a bar, and the other side has a bar with the option the bring your concessions over to the other side. It has the full experience of leather reclining seats and nice silver screens. The location is convenient next to the Fullerton Costco. There is plenty of parking but due to the low plethora of retail in that area, you may have to walk a little. The theater looks to be cleaned often and regularly and most of the facilities look to have been upgraded. I have AMC's subscription service so I frequent the theater often. AMC Fullerton regularly has independent films when they open up to a larger audience and special events along with the odd foreign language film. The workers seem motivated and are quite friendly. The movie theater experience is really the way to see films, especially big budget films. Earlier in the pandemic they provided wipes for your chairs along with sanitizer stations which were appreciated. I find AMC Fullerton to be a well put together theater for movie going. read more

I will not return to this location and I'm really disappointed because I used to believe this location was a lot better than the Puente Hills location. This place is a study in contrast. The theaters are super nice, with lots of room, comfy seats, and little tables. I like the "done-in" thing, where you order your snacks and they're delivered to your seat (the concession line moves much faster). But there is one real down-side: there are only 2 bathrooms and each is on the opposite side of the complex. So, it is not a quick move to use the restroom: that's kind of a pain in the butt. We came in yesterday hoping we would be able to order from our seats as we just got done with dinner and were feeling a little full and lazy. Unfortunately you need to wait in line to order just like the regular theaters the only plus they actually deliver it to your seat. Be aware they do charge $1 delivery fee which is not bad so you don't have to stand there and wait for your order. They did forget the jalapeños and nacho cheese we ordered so my husband had to get up and go ask for it. Very convenient plaza. There is an AMC movie theater, Costco, Amazon Fresh, In n Out, Etc. I usually watch a movie at AMC and then head to Costco and run some errands. I visited this location in the past for the special event and limited time screenings. Many of my previous visits were positive. However, for my recent visit, it was a bit of a disappointment. I went to see The Boy and the Heron, which was shown in the Dine-In side of the building. While the chair was comfortable, my chair didn't recline all the way. It only raised a little. The worse part of my visit was that during the entire movie, there were bugs flying around inside the theater. Some moths and flies were flying around in front of the screen that distracted me. At one point, a fly flew in front of the projector and its shadow appeared briefly on the screen (fortunately, it didn't cover the entire screen). In the women's restroom on the Dine-In side, most of the soap dispensers were out of soap. But thankfully, I found one that had some soap inside. I usually don't have bad experiences during my AMC Fullerton visits, but this visit was a bummer (Except for the movie. The movie was wonderful.). I'm not sure if I want to come here again due to the lack of hygiene visible inside the building with the bugs flying around inside and the lack of soap. read more

Fullerton AMC is our GO TO theatre even though we have several theatres closer to us. It takes us about 20 mins to get to Fullerton but my hubby prefers this theatre over all the neighboring ones. The seats are nice and comfortable as they recline all the way. Makes for a very cozy experience when we bring our blanket and cuddle up with our kids. My daughter especially loves this theatre for that reason. There are two theatres, the one on the right offers a full dine-in experience where the seats have trays that swivel in and out. Each chair has a call button where a server comes to take your order. It is a little pricey for the food they serve but the experience is nice. The theatre on the left has recliners as well but no tray and you have to order your food in the lobby before taking your seat. They do, however, deliver your food to you when it is ready so that is a big plus. Both sides offer alcohol. And for those who do not want the pricier food, there is a regular concession that serves the typical theatre food/snacks. Unfortunately, one of the main reasons my hubs likes it here is because of the Caesar Salad which we discovered last night that they no longer have on the menu. The Cobb Salad was an "ok" replacement. I hope they bring the Caesar back. The burgers are good and typical of diner-like food. Not gourmet but defs better than standard theatre food. All theatres have assigned seating which makes it convenient for those who want to plan ahead. Otherwise, you can get tickets at the window when you arrive. While COVID has impacted the theatre negatively, as with all other businesses, I am happy to see that AMC Fullerton was able to stay. They are short staff (like everyone else) so things aren't quite as they were pre-COVID but definitely still an enjoyable experience. read more

We were waiting for movie to start at 145 It was already 215 and movie hadn't started! When out of nowhere a lady comes to show me, her phone that I was sitting on her seat!! Me!! I've actually never been to a dine-in movie theater before so this was a fun experience. You actually order on a kiosk outside and the worker brings your food in. I kind of wish you could order more during the movie either through your phone and have them bring to your chair or something like that because midway I kind of wanted more food or snacks but I didn't want to miss the movie to go get it...and I figured that would be a benefit of a dine in theater but I guess not! The theater itself is a bit run down outside but inside is super clean. Food is better than I expected for a movie theater. I ordered the chicken caesar wrap which was a good sized portion. On the app, it showed that a chef's salad wrap was an option but on the kiosk you couldn't order that so there are some inconsistencies between the app and the kiosk in person just fyi. read more

By the end of the movie I was shivering. My first time going to an AMC Dine-In. The menu has a variety of items: snacks, bowls, sandwiches, desserts, burgers, salads, flatbread, and a kids menu. ~Note: It was dark so I couldn't take a lot of pictures. ::Experience:: The seats are leather and they recline. Although, I found it a bit uncomfortable because it didn't recline enough. There is a sliding tray, a small light, utensils, napkin, menus, ketchup, salt, pepper, and a red button if you need service. ::Drink:: The Watermelon Chiller has vodka, patron, watermelon puree, and lime juice. It was sweet and very syrupy but I liked it. ::Food:: Surprisingly, the food was good. The Crispy Shrimp Sushi Roll had tempura shrimp, cucumber, avocado, and mayo. It was served with ginger, soy sauce, and wasabi. The sushi was not cut proportionally though; the slices were bigger than normal. I'm not a BBQ person, but I enjoyed the BBQ Mac & Cheese. It was placed in a bowl and had sweet & spicy BBQ brisket, crispy onion straws, cilantro, fried jalapenos, and cheddar cheese. Went last night with the fam to see the new aliens movie. We paid to see first premiere before they started showing today. My husband is a huge Aliens fan and they were selling the limited edition face hugger popcorn tin and cup. I asked to purchase and the guy said they were sold out. How could they be sold out when they don't even show them online yet? Also, how could they be sold out when the movie just released last night and we saw the first showing? I am super disappointed. It just doesn't make sense to me when last night was not even packed . Every time I call this location no one ever answers the phone always have to call a different AMC just to get a message over to the manager call back. read more

Walking up to the theater was not a good vibe. The smell of trash and dirty sticky cement had me worried. They really need to clean the outside surrounding the property. The parking was horrible due to sharing a lot with costco. Especially on the weekend. But once you get inside the building, you forget about everything outside. I think it's pretty neat that they have a restaurant and food can be brought to you in your seat. Also, you can't go wrong with the recliner seating. I decided to bring my toddlers for a last minute movie outing, which is a mission in and of itself, throw in the last minute preparations and rushing to get their much needed lemonade and snacks and we're in for a rough trip while trying to make the film before the trailers wrap. The lines are long, and there's no food delivery on the 1-9 side, so I hope for the best ordering at the bar with Anna. She was amazing!
