Takes me back to my younger days when life was much simpler. =) Usually don't go to this location, but we were in the area doing some things and decided it was our chance to see Transformers in 3D before summer is over! Small and unassuming theater, but fairly clean. Staff are more attentive and friendly than some other places. Ordered food on their kiosk outside-- got popcorn with extra butter and a side of jalapeño, some cold drinks, and loaded fries. Staff brought food to us. Thoroughly surprised with fries. It was crispy and had bacon and cheese on top. It was yummy! My buttery popcorn with jalapeños set it off and made the 3D movie even better. Overall it was a pleasant experience. AC works great unlike another place we recently went to and left immediately. After the movie was over, there were about 4-5 staff members standing by the entrance ready to clean. I don't like leaving my trash behind, so I always make sure to clean my stuff as I exit. Women's bathroom was relatively clean. Could always be better. It's awesome too because there will be time periods of free items ($5 deals that are a steal). Reclining seats, decent food selections, and easy to get seats are the reasons why this theater is my favorite and go-to. If you have the AMC pass, you can watch 3 movies a week for $25 a month. The movie selections are usually popular movies and sometimes they have feature films like animes and studio ghibli movies. Their theaters are pretty clean and all the seats are comfy and recline all the way. There are two sides to this theater with the main difference between the two sides is the food. Dine-in side I believe has more/better food selections. In my last visit, I was on the dine-in side and it looks like they've started using ordering kiosks. I was able to order, put my seat number in, and they brought it directly to my seat! How convenient! The quality of the screen is bright and clear with great sounding audio. This theater can get busy so I recommend downloading the app and booking your seats through there. It just makes it so much easier. read more

AMC Fullerton is trying. They added the Dine in feature to their "stadium style" seating, but when you get the waiter to deliver the food, they make little attempt to be quiet or squat down so they don't cast a shadow on the film. If you want to buy something that's not on the menu (ie: a smaller popcorn, or a kids meal) you have to walk to the "old" side to get it, and the service is slow as heck. Lastly, it's the pandemic and AMC's social media assures us they are safe and sanitized. I call BS. They put out Chlorox wipes at the entrance of the door and expect you to remember to wipe your own area. There's even a warning on the container that says it's disinfectant, so don't use as a hand wipe, and I'm guessing wash your hand before reaching into your popcorn box. Overall, Fullerton is not my favorite location. Even the parking can be difficult as you're fighting the Costco and Amazon Fresh customers for a spot. I'd rather go to La Mirada for cheaper tickets, or splurge and use my A list at Orange and watch it on IMAX. read more

I'm the type of person who wants to try things at least once, but for this place, I wish I listened to the reviews! Save your money and see the movie at a different theater in 4D for a similar price. SEATS (1/5): Some theaters have fully reclining seats, while others do not. Unfortunately, I think it is random depending on which theater your movie is playing. Our seats were large, made of a soft leather material, but had little to no lumbar back support, which left my group with sore backs at the end of our 2 hour movie. The recline was minimal (think airplane seating) where you can only recline a couple notches down. SOUND SYSTEM (2/5): You can hear the movie next door if the movie you're watching has a quiet scene. I was seated in the middle of my theater (not along the walls) and this was an issue PRICE (1/5): This place was not worth the price. At $18.50 each ticket + food (beer, flatbread, nachos) + tip + delivery fee, we left spending an additional $50 FOOD (2/5): The menu is small and pretty standard for what you would guess a movie theater serves. I come here to watch a movie at least once every other week. The theater has two buildings: one for dine-in and the other with a more traditional theater atmosphere. I love that both sides feature reclining seats. My only complaint is that many of the seats are quite worn, and the non-dine-in side is usually very cold (nothing that a hoodie or a little blanket can't fix). read more

This theater used to be really nice, but after last night's experience I'll never come back. My girlfriend and I saw "Sinners" on 5/9/25 and the male and female couple who came in and sat next to us were already drunk when they came in the theater, proceeded to drink more, and talked the first thirty minutes of the film. It appeared they snuck in beers. At one point the male vomited onto the floor in front of him, but did not leave. We had to tell them to leave or we'd get a crew member. They left at that point. Thirty minutes later three audience members appeared to move from their seats in the back of the theater up to Row C while using a bright flashlight, then moved to Row B and took seats not assigned to them. They disturbed everyone around them for five minutes then left. The failure of crew members to police the auditorium and enforce civility on this visit, and a complete lack of air conditioning on our last visit a few months ago, has lead my girlfriend and I to the decision to never visit AMC Fullerton 20 ever again. The level of quality at this theater has declined dramatically in the past few years, which is a shame because it was our usual theater because of how good it was. read more

He took the time to actually help me without being irritated and he had a lot of patience. He emailed the A-List for me and tried to resolve my problem. So the theatre itself has 2parts If you walk into one and the say nope not this one ,you have to walk across to the other one..to me that's just plain dumb. And I have to say out of 10 Stars This Movie definitely get a 4.8 Not worth your money, they definitely did not get into detail about anything or anyone not even her as singer and Mother and addict. First time going to a movie since the pandemic and it was a great experience! We saw Avatar II: The Way of Water, which was a long movie, but I was so comfortable the whole time we were there. The reclining seats were solid, there was lots of room between people and our theater wasn't packed so it was nice. The dine-in experience has changed since I've been there last-- you no longer order at your seat and they bring it, you now order by the food counter and then they bring it. So if you want something during the movie you have to walk out to get it. We got a large popcorn and it was tasty, I just wish the ordering stations had an option to add nacho cheese on the side because I love to dip my popcorn in that! We did miss a little of the previews trying to order stuff, but there were a ton of previews so that was cool too. All in all, it was a great first time back at the movies. read more

First time back since Covid and I was way disappointed. It was so sad. I used to go here and they had booths with tables that were waited on. It was pretty nice. Now they only deliver what you order in the bar and sadly the croutons in the salad were like sponges, the chicken tasted dry and fake. The drink and bar tenders were good. THE WORST PART was when I walked in the theater and the stench was almost enough to make me throw up, then the food arrived. Omg. Screen was also super small. Never again. Would I return? No. The parking was already a hassle because they share the parking lot with Costco so be prepared to spend a while finding a spot or it might be a far walk. I was a bit confused at first because we had a dine-in movie ticket which was in a separate building and the other building was the regular theater. Upon entering, the place seems average and not too busy. I liked that you were able to order the food from a kiosk and the employees bring it to your seat in the theater. We tried to get a drink at the bar which was busy but none of the employees even acknowledged us after we were trying to grab their attention so that was annoying. The movie theater looked nice and luckily our seats reclined without any problems. However, you can tell this theater isn't thorough with its cleaning procedures because everything was either sticky or greasy. My table had some spills on there and the seats had residue from the cleaner they used so it was a bit sticky. The cup holder was also filled with crumbs and trash. Although the theater left a horrible impression, the food was actually decent. I would definitely order the chicken quesadillas again! I like that they provided guacamole and sour cream with a side of chips and salsa. The quesadillas were warm and fresh. The cheese ratio was generous and their chicken was flavorful. My only complaint would be that the chips were probably store-bought and not freshly made in-house because they were very thick, cold, and stale. The MAGIC is Over! First time back since COVID and the Management or Owner, not sure who ruined it has killed the experience. The Dine in Theater used to take care of EVERYTHING, Which is why you paid a bit more to be pampered. They used to have call buttons on your seat to summon a waiter.... now GONE! The Menu option WERE excellent now... meh, I can get better food frozen and microwaved at home. The Seats are in credible uncomfortable and crammed. The Ticket Prices are outrageous..OVER 20 BUCKS a person... FORGET any customer service or Thank You for coming tonight....most employees have been replaced with a Kiosk and Good luck even finding an employee. I thought I was sad to let my AMC membership go... but after last night not one nit. They tried to reason away the lack of menu options.... which used to be absoufreakinlutley amazing and delicious... we'll because of Covid we can't offer pasta. Because of Covid, we replaced quality customer service with a tablet.. because of covid blah blah blah. Also in snack bar, nobody is wearing gloves or a hair net.... ummm ewwww, especially when working with popcorn and leaning into the machine, over the popcorn with your hair just hanging down. My girlfriend and I had a terrible experience as we watched the most antisapated horror film of the year. The person sitting next to us would not only stop talking but her phone was reflecting a flashing text message light throughout the film. Also, during the climax of the movie (which made no sense) a random couple came into the theater and demanded another couple leave their seats. This ruined the entire movie for everyone on the left side of the theater no question as expletives were being exchanged. Finally, to top it all off as well, upon asking "Miguel" to comp our tickets he refused stating "we should have advised them sooner" as if we were going to leave the theater at that time. This theater has been my go-to for the last 4 years now, and I've never once had a bad experience!! On Thursday Feb. 20th our movie was interrupted about three quarters of the way through by the fire alarms going off, and everyone made their way outside surprisingly quick and calmly. I really wanted to show some extra appreciation to the staff that was working during the time, especially the young lady that I assume was the supervisor on duty. They were all so understanding, informative and so well organized. They gave us tickets to use at another time and also even gave us a refund on the tickets to the movie we were watching. They kept us informed that we could wait to see if we could resume our movies once fire responders cleared the building. We were able to get back into the theater within about 15 minutes, and they even went back about 10 minutes into the movie so we had time to use the restroom and/or get snacks. I just want to reiterate how great the staff was that night, and show some appreciation for the supervisor who stayed level headed, calm and respectful despite how chaotic everything was. I will definitely continue going to this theater! read more

Man I haven't been to a theater in MONTHS!!! Today I finally came here to watch Honest Thief at the Dine In side of the theater, the non Dine In theaters are on the other side I think. When I entered the lobby, I show my scan code of my ticket on my phone to the person at the front. I was wearing a neck gaiter as my mask, but the lady said they don't allow neck gaiter as face covering so she offered me a free mask. Which is cool. Then I went up to the bar and ordered my food and my drink, I got a beer and Loaded Bacon Tots. The girl then asked me where my seat number is so they will bring my food to me when it's done. I got there early so they brought my food before the movie starts. Which is awesome!!! I really like that they keep the 40% capacity because of COVID so it's not too crowded in the theater. There were only 2 of us in my row!! I love the tray table that we could put our food and drink on!! But the only thing that I don't like was their seat doesn't recline all the way like those regular Lazy Boy does, maybe probably they want to save some space??? But maybe the seats at the Non Dine In side are all better?? Overall, the theater is clean, parking is easy, disinfectant wipes everywhere, customer service is great, food and beer are yummy. I was a big fan of this place originally. You sit down comfortably and push a button to be served after perusing the menu. You could order during the show... I went to see The Little Mermaid opening weekend and I. Was. Pissed. Ok, fine - you don't get served during the show and they took away the buttons. But WHY did I have to LEAVE THE WHOLE THEATER, walk OUTSIDE past the box office, across to the OTHER theater, stand in line and wait for my food? (After ordering at the kiosk which was whack in itself). THEN there's not really a good way to carry a bunch of stuff; there's no one to help you. Fortunately, the ticket-taking employee saw me at the door and took enough pity to open the door for me as I had gotten food for my two companions (don't think there even was anything for me). I wasn't aware of any of this and missed the first ten mins of the movie. WON'T be back unless I catch wind they've reverted to form. I swore by this place, too. Been going here for awhile. Gourmet Menu is fire. They cater to your seat after you order. Love that the seats recline alot more here, but they're kind of due for replacements. This has always been a run-down theater but my experience here tonight was the last straw and I won't be coming back. The theater was absolutely freezing. And I mean it was like "sitting in a freezer" freezing. I finally went out to the lobby to thaw myself and ask if they could turn the a/c off, and the girl behind the counter said the sensor was broken but refused to turn it off because "then it won't be able to turn back on and it will get too hot in there." It's the middle of winter and it was the last showing of the night. A group of people were literally doing jumping jacks in the back of the theater to try to warm up. We stuck it out through the rest of the movie but I could barely focus because all I could think about was how cold I was. It's 57 degrees outside right now and it was warmer outside than in the theater. Unacceptable. read more

In February 2025, I went to see a movie with my son when the fire alarm suddenly went off. As we were exiting the theater, I noticed smoke coming from the kitchen area and heard sirens approaching. As any responsible parent would do, I made the decision to immediately leave the premises. Mind you, the LA fires had just occurred a month prior and that was still very fresh in everyone's mind. I assumed that, under the circumstances, the staff would be more than understanding and replace our tickets without an issue. However, when I returned five months later to request new tickets, my request was immediately denied. I explained that I had a toddler at home and had also been out of the country for two months. Unfortunately, the two managers I spoke to (both white females) were condescending and antagonistic. Both claimed they had been working that evening and insisted, "There was no fire." Now, the fire alarm was activated, I saw smoke, and heard sirens. I made a reasonable choice not to wait around and risk potential danger. When I asked for their names to file a formal complaint, they refused to provide them, saying they didn't feel "comfortable," even though I was respectful throughout our interaction, did not use foul language, didn't raise my voice, nor was I threatening in my demeanor. As a longtime AMC customer for over 20 years and a frequent A-List member, I was extremely disappointed by how this situation was handled. After that interaction, I immediately reached out to AMC online and they responded promptly and issued replacement tickets. So this situation could've been handled by the managers with basic professionalism and empathy, but they simply chose not to. Needless to say I will not be going to AMC Fullerton anymore, and I hope AMC takes steps to ensure better training and accountability going forward. read more

I was in auditorium 1 and this couple in the front kept interrupting the movie and using there cellphone throughout the movie being so rude . When the movie came to finish a professional officer greeted us guest and advise to make sure everyone cleared auditorium in a safety manner since it was after hours 1:32am. Apparently the rude couple started to be disrespectful to the officer and made his job hard by ignoring him and hanging out inside the auditorium and not wanting to leave I had to step in and say hey this ain't your house leave or I will be calling the police for disrespecting the kind officer who has been nothing but respectful to everyone and by the way you made my movie experience poorly with y'all talking and taking video while the movie was playing shameful on you guys for not respecting others watching the movie . I will not return to this location and I'm really disappointed because I used to believe this location was a lot better than the Puente Hills location. This place is a study in contrast. The theaters are super nice, with lots of room, comfy seats, and little tables. I like the "done-in" thing, where you order your snacks and they're delivered to your seat (the concession line moves much faster). But there is one real down-side: there are only 2 bathrooms and each is on the opposite side of the complex. So, it is not a quick move to use the restroom: that's kind of a pain in the butt. We came in yesterday hoping we would be able to order from our seats as we just got done with dinner and were feeling a little full and lazy. Unfortunately you need to wait in line to order just like the regular theaters the only plus they actually deliver it to your seat. Be aware they do charge $1 delivery fee which is not bad so you don't have to stand there and wait for your order. They did forget the jalapeños and nacho cheese we ordered so my husband had to get up and go ask for it. AMC Fullerton on Lemon is my local AMC theater. The theater is separated into two sides. One side has the kitchen and dine in at your seat and a bar, and the other side has a bar with the option the bring your concessions over to the other side. It has the full experience of leather reclining seats and nice silver screens. The location is convenient next to the Fullerton Costco. There is plenty of parking but due to the low plethora of retail in that area, you may have to walk a little. The theater looks to be cleaned often and regularly and most of the facilities look to have been upgraded. I have AMC's subscription service so I frequent the theater often. AMC Fullerton regularly has independent films when they open up to a larger audience and special events along with the odd foreign language film. The workers seem motivated and are quite friendly. The movie theater experience is really the way to see films, especially big budget films. Earlier in the pandemic they provided wipes for your chairs along with sanitizer stations which were appreciated. I find AMC Fullerton to be a well put together theater for movie going. read more
